Fuck the traffic Lanquel. That's what I try to tell people, like really? we need more people? We got 325 million, how many do we need? 400? A billion?

As Ricky Watters once said when asked about extending to catch a pass and subjecting himself to a vicious hit...

For what? For who?

Heh....stated w your customary strong enthusiasm.

Maybe not a good time for me to confess I am a supporter of those who propose the US agreeably annex Mexico and aggressively expand our entire culture southward over the next 80 years

You really have no idea, damn, you're flat out delusional with respect to Trump's supporters

We are solid, we love him in the policy arena, he's doing all the things I've always wanted done. And those policies are working, why do you think we're disappointed? You really have to expand your news sources

I do know you are an enthusiastic member of that 20% so no shock that you perceive yourself as surrounded by like-minded citizens

The government was designed to have checks and balances. A national emergency is something like Japan invading Pearl Harbor......not building a wall on the Mexican border. The office of the President has increasingly been trying to govern without the checks of the other two branches. That is a bad not the way the government was intended to run.

So calling it a national emergency and building a wall is not in the best interest of the USA long term. Lets say the next president claims climate change is a national emergency and all coal plants need to shutdown immediately. Is that how the government is suppose to work.....or how a dictatorship works?

I'm sure you'll agree there were plenty of actions taken by Obama (like paying Iran a shit ton of money without Congressional approval) that took advantage of his position too correct?

I live my life vicariously through hundreds of families, thousands of people, scores of businesses. I doubt more than 1% of the country has a larger social network (no, not on line, in real life). My feet are firmly on the ground, I'm absolutely certain where Trump supporters stand, with a few exceptions of course

Don't people love
A growing economy?
Job growth?
Wage growth?
Manufacturing jobs coming home?

Consumer confidence suggests they do

Business confidence suggests they're happy too.

Why do so many people hate WINNING? I'll never understand that.

Or maybe CNN doesn't tell them about this stuff
Maybe the only thing they hear is stuff like Stormy Danies says Trump sucks in bed

The office of the president is increasingly doing this.....not just the current president. There needs to be a check on them doing whatever they want.

Because they care more about the stuff that doesn't matter over the stuff that does.

Do you care more about what kind of cheeseburgers were served to the Clemson football team in the WH or the economy?

The media would have you believe we should care more about cheeseburgers.

The shutdown is not about the wall. because if it were then the majority of democrats would be voting in line with the very views they have expressed over the 4 years prior to the Trump administration, and supporting the funding of the wall and stemming the flow of illegal immigration. This shutdown is actually about Dems being obsessed with making sure Trump gets nothing he wants, even if they vocally supported it 2 years ago.”

The government shutdown will prevent Trump from re-election!??????????? U gotta be kidding. I think he was already locked in to not being elected. Probably not the best idea to have a sociopath as a president.
also, the shutdown it largely due to the wall. Dems and most citizens do not want to give billions of dollars to something that will only make things worse and does very little for what it's intended to do. Drugs and immigrants flow into this country through many other ways than a stupid wall. It is comical how stupid a idea this is. Adding to Stevie's quote above, how can Dems or any other government official not be obsessed with preventing Trumps policies from going through at this point?? There's a reason why educated Americans didn't vote for Trump and continue to not support him. Common sense really. Unless you want a prez that only cares about himself that is.

I concur, too many executive orders. Equally as bad, if not worse, is using the courts to write law.

Legislators are not doing their jobs. They're lazy, they're liars, they want the best of both worlds, and they want such without having to spill any political blood. They like their cushy jobs. Hence they do nothing right

People who told us the Republican Party was dead, that Hillary was going to be POTUS until 2024, AND LAUGHED AT THE THOUGHT OF TRUMP WINNING IN 2016, are now telling us he can't win in 2020.

OK, whatever

I'm old school, I think if the economy continues to grow, real jobs continue to be created, real wages continue to increase, manufacturing jobs keep moving back to the states........, he's going to win because WINNING matters to a lot of us.

People more concerned about words instead of results, they're not voting for him. The CNN crowd? LMFAO, they're not voting for him because most don't really know what's really happening. The people who vote for a living? That 90%+ demographic has been voting democratic for the last 50 years, that's not changing either. If they've voted for the same broken promises for all of the lives, they're going to die voting for the same failed promises

Trumps' support comes from middle america, the people that talk less and work more. The people that don't have time to waste protesting and screaming at the sky are the people that will vote for Trump.

PS: I know there are good and smart and informed people that oppose Trump, they're just in the minority on that side of the isle
Nicely said. I would like to add one more thing, Clinton was a terrible candidate with
no vision. Would someone like to point out to me which one of the current cast of Dems
is any better than she was?

One thing is certain. If Hillary had won, we would've had the Merkel express on the border and through the air.

She would've greenlighted about 500,000 illegals from Mexico and Central to literally walk across the border. Then she would've put Arabs on planes to land in the US for free government handouts.

It would've been a nightmare.

In the end, though, this is what will happen. Trump is only temporary. Trump may win in 2020, but in 2024 and 2028 it will be a free-for-all with the savage express heading to the United States. Just look at Europe overrun with savages. And once they're there with that contingent in the population and the politicians controlled... it's over.

This is why the wall, in the end, is only window dressing. You have over 20 MILLION (!!!) illegals in the US. And they have millions of children who hate the US and US values and believe in the "gibs". If there aren't massive deportations after the wall, then a wall is pointless.

It's like having cockroaches. You put a wall around your house (supposing walls could stop cockroaches in this example, lol) and you stop millions of cockroaches from breaking into your house. But what good does that do if you've still got millions of cockroaches within the perimeter?

Homeland security and border patrol agents say we need barriers.. that's good enough for common sense people.. Trump prevails imo on this issue.. anyone that thinks the wall is stupid , is just a plain idiot..

What is the benefit for Hillary, Schumer, pelosi, etc having the views they do??

honestly, to me most of the issues discussed are 100 percent common sense.

i used to think the generation behind will be the ones where the USA loses the “ super power” label but I think it will be mine now.

Common sense should tell you we don’t want sbit load of illegals and their mass reproduction and ways in the country. After all, there way of life is why their own countries are failures .

a lot of countries openly discriminate because they see what the “ others” are. Russians hate blacks. Poland does t allow ANY Muslims in.

If if I were other countries and wanted to bring the USA down. Just be nice to us and eventually we will invite you In To contaminate us

Africa has the perfect position on the globe to be a power but there is a very simple reason that entire place has been 1 constant civil war for decades
