Are you sure you didn't make a mistake and meant to say that Tulsa at -2.5 (-3.5 in some places) was the gift?

Some gift as Tulsa is taking it right to the Ball State team 24-10 as I type. It appears that Ball State really doesn't have a lot of balls afterall.

The actual fucking gift was the betting line moving from one side to another. Now if that wasn't a certain sign pointing to the Tulsa side as the upcoming winner tonight, then all the BS bettors should pack it in for good because you'll never get a better gift and to think you all failed to pick up on it and take the Ball side makes it even more ridiculous.
Un-fucking-real!!!!!

:nohead:

:ohno: Must have been a guy who just saw this system having success and put his bankroll on it.
Money management my friend.

12-5 in the bowls made me some money!
Tough way to end the year ... but I will take 12-5 every year!

I jumped on this thread's bandwagon a little late this bowl season, but still came out ahead. I was tempted to go balls to the wall (pun intended) and up the ante for tonight' loser, but glad I didn't.

Thanks for the work JB and hopefully we'll see your picks up next December!

Used your system to help with my handicapping. It actually made me stay away from 2 plays I would have lost...Thanks for posting, Hope you do it again next year:103631605

Thanks for all of your work this season JBragg, followed you quite frequently throughout the season and came out ahead which is always the goal.
What other sports do you cap heavily? I see you on NCAAB from time to time.

great system...thanks for posting.

I back tested it to 2006 and it went 8-8. Not quite what it has been in 2007 and this season. There were a couple of posts earlier in this thread with the 2006 Sagarin rankings. The problem with those is that they were after the bowl season and that made a big difference in the rankings and SOS. I had the pre-bowl rankings in my 2006 Football spreadsheet and used those to back test. Will be very interested to track this again next season.

Thanks again!

I backtracked this during Week 1 of the Regular Season (last 5 years only) and it went 33-25. Not great, but it makes $$$.

Probably is terrific during the second half of the season.

I've been tracking this on a weekly basis, it's hitting exactly .500

However, I have NOT been keeping track of each teams ranking, strictly their SOS # which is probably why it's hitting at an even rate. I guess it's just for bowls seeing how the teams are "evenly matched" and the deciding factor should be SOS.

it won't fall off. I will re-post a new thread when the time comes around. I think it is too difficult to see on a weekly basis because rankings and numbers change so much.
