I'm not sure you should do that, I think you should not follow the rules strictly. There's some serious money in play and it's a bad precedence to set. You're now introducing "judgement" into the game. Plus a TX cover was not a lock. What if they were winning by 39? Can you call that a loss ATS?

whatever you decide, I'm fine with, I won't complain, I won't mention it again, I'm just suggesting you'd be better off strictly enforcing the rules.

Seems like you have a couple choices.

1. Go strictly by what the Vegas SuperContest does.
From the SuperContest Rules:
Rule #21. In the eventuality of a game cancellation or postponement, the game must be played by Tuesday of that week to be applied toward contest standings or contestant will be awarded zero points for that game.

Of course, the Bama game was not a cancellation or postponement, so maybe this doesn't apply. At a Sportsbook, a rain shortened baseball game counts on the ML but not on the -1.5 or +1.5 line or on the Over/under. Those wagers are refunded. So . . .?

2. Let them pick an extra game next week. This seems most fair. Apply to both the Florida and the Bama pickers?

If I had a vote it would be for a replacement game for the "no action" games. In the absence of governing rules in advance, it seems the only fair way to deal with a situation that occurs over which players have no control. Thanks for all your efforts JOH.

Saying bama would have covered anyway is an oppinion , not a fact. There was still 7 and a half minutes left and bama had already begun subbing in backups on defense. .... with the result of the org st/hawaii game and several nfl games yesterday you just cant be sure what the outcome would be.
