what haps with florida/idaho?

We had this problem a couple of years back in the Hilton Super Contest. Vikings game when the Roof collapsed.
because the game couldn't be played within a NFL 'Window" of some kind, they just didn't count the game towards the contest. ( I believe )

So in our case, we have 2 options....

#1 Just don't count the game. Which means no points awarded

#2 We wait and see what their plans are for a reschedule ..... Make a Special thread with who had that game picked, Spread stays the same as posted and Grade it then.

More details will be forthcoming regarding the status of any potential makeup game. If the game is rescheduled, it will be restarted from the where tonight's game left off, officials said, but that determination will be announced at a later date, along with ticket information.

I counted the Florida/Idaho game a push for now. Final decision TBD.

If we were to follow LVH Rules:

21. In the eventuality of a game cancellation or postponement the game must be played by Tuesday of that week to be applied toward contest standings or contestant will be awarded zero points for that game.

I concur with counting the Florida/Idaho game as a push - that way it doesn't penalize contestants for a situation over which they have no control. Awarding "0" points IS the equivalent of a loss, while awarding "1" point would be like unjust/undeserved enrichment. There is no advantage or disadvantage conferred by counting the game a push. You do a great job - so whatever you decide. . . . .

Amazing how this works! I thought maybe our group would be smarter! Sometimes in these contests, players chase the line variance rather than cap the games and that may have led to so many picking Arkansas and a couple others. I lost Navy by a half point and LSU by 1 point. face)(*^%
