I'm not complaining either, not about how the contest is being run, I be just bitching about some circumstances that can't be avoided
as for the timing Enfuego my friend, it is consistent with how the LVH capping contest is run in Vegas, so I'm OK with that. Administratively, you'd have to start worrying about the time stamp of each play and such. I think their job gets harder, I can't ask anyone to do more then they're already doing.
Well if u could see other posters picks that could cause problems late in year whoever is in first could just copy 2'd place picks so no change.
I'm not trying to be rude either but I'm sick of all the time limit complaints. The rules were explicitly stated when we signed up. I'm not happy with the deadline working midnights this week but it is what it is
I have done nfl contest on the rx for the past 3 years and its basically a thread of whining about the rules for 17 weeks straight. For me its one of the highlights of my gambling year and think it is run very fairly. Everything is in black and white, updates frequent and the job the organizers do is second to none. One of these years I'm afraid they will just say fuck it do to all of the whining and bitching that goes on. The contest is setup to mirror the Hilton contest, the biggest, most successful NFL handicapping contest on earth...if you don't like the setup or rules its very simple...dont play

I think this contest is great and a lot of fun. JOH and Betall are simply great in running it from start to finish. I just wish the deadline was Saturday at 11:59 A.M. No reason not to have it at that time.

IMO, the contests are run very fair & with plenty of time to get the picks in..........no way should the picks be changed to be put in on game day.
The night before is awesome & if my memory serves me, they added an extra 3 hours to the time limit......use to be 5pm & is now 8pm.

You should probably run your own pool next year (or even the remainder of this year). Maybe a lot of people agree with you and will do your pool.
If not, then we should probably just play by the rules of the contest that we signed up for without causing too much grief to the guys who are nice enough to do all the work.
