Everyone chime in on everything listed
1) Should we expand the roster by 2 players for Covid protection? I don't think we should expand by too many, leave some players available
2) If they play less than 8 games, everyone gets a full refund? If every team plays at least 8 games, we award prize money based on standings. Record 1st and points scored the tie breaker
3) If there's a very late scratch and it's too late to replace a player. How do we fix that problem?
Do we ignore it? just part of the breaks we all know exist (may be the best option so as not to get twisted)
Do we allow the player to substitute the lowest scoring bench player from the same position? WR for WR, TE for TE
Do we use points scored by that player the next time he plays? Which won't work for the playoffs
I'm suggesting that if a player gets scratched, we do nothing. It's not fair for that week, but we're all in the same boat and taking the same risk and that's what happens when there's a late scratch due to injury in any other year. I think we all need to watch lineups right up to the last minute
So to conclude, I'm suggesting only three COVID changes
1) expand rosters by 2 for this year
2) minimum games played requirement, I'm suggesting 8
3) If there's a late scratch, that's just bad luck and we're all rolling the dice
I am good with all three. But really think we should visit 1/2 or full PPR. On top of Covid now we must deal with the possibility of players sitting out to protest. The PPR I would blindly so die this year and back to normal next year.
