Fade Adams Monday Game Analysis

[h=4]Monday's Selection ...[/h] For Monday night, 1500♦ Raise the Bar Playoff Implication Lock is the visiting Houston Texans plus the points as they take on the home favorite New England Patriots. As of 9am eastern time, the Texas are the +4 point underdogs. If your line is +4 or if it dips to +3 1/2 points, I am recommending you buying the half point up on Houston.

Is this a case of lack of respect for the Texans 11-1 resume, or is this a case of too much respect for the Patriots? Not sure which, but my belief this is too many points for the Pats to be laying. That New England defense just isn't very good, while the Houston defense shapes up to be the difference in this game tonight.

The weather will also play a factor, as a steady rain is expected for the better part of this contest, and based on the fact the Texans can run the ball, I will look for the +4 points they are getting to be all the more value in this game that means a ton as far as who will end up the #1 seed in the AFC.

The New England offensive line allowed QB Tom Brady to be sacked 4 times last week at Miami, and while Miami's defense is good, I view Houston's as even better, and JJ Watt and company certainly should get pressure on #12 early and often.

The Patriots have gone just 2-3 against the spread at home this season, while the Texans are on a 6 game winning streak (playoffs included) when listed as the underdog. This is just the 2nd time this year Houston will be getting points, the first was an outright win at Chicago just about a month ago.

Just do not see 4 points separating these 2 teams tonight. Take Houston plus the points.

Fade Adams Monday Video

Fade Adams out of the kitchen, back behind the tarp, taking an obvious shot at Brandon Lang and his video practices.

I think everybody at the Budin sites, the real ones at least, all hate Lang.

Fade Adams Tuesday Game Analysis

[h=4]Tuesday's Selection ...[/h] For Tuesday night in the NBA Top-Rated 1000♦ East-West Showdown Lock is the visiting Los Angeles Clippers as the favorite against the host Chicago Bulls. As of 7:30 am eastern when I release my selection, the Clippers are the -3 1/2 point road favorites.

Hard to make a convincing case for the Bulls right now, as Derek Rose continues his rehab, Kirk Hinrich now bothered by a bum elbow, and Rip Hamilton still sidelined with the torn plantar fascia.

Yes, the Bulls have won 3 in a row, but 2 of the wins came against lowly Cleveland and a Detroit team they have bested like 20 times in a row. The Clippers are riding a 6 game winning streak that has seen them cover 3 in a row and 4 of their last 5.

The Clippers barely broke a sweat in the season's first meeting between the clubs, whipping up on the Bulls by a 101-80 count in L.A. back on November 17th, as Los Angeles made it a 4-2 series run both straight up and against the spread in their last 6 showdowns with Chicago.

The Bulls 2-9 home spread mark leaves a lot to be desired. No issue for me laying a few points on the road with the surging Clippers tonight.

Trace Adams Wednesday Game Analysis

[h=4]Wednesday's Selection ...[/h] For Wednesday night in the NBA Top-Rated 1000♦ East Dead Mortal Lock on the Atlanta Hawks as the road favorite against the Orlando Magic. At 8:00 am eastern time when I release my selection, the Hawks are the -4 1/2 point favorites over the Magic.

Off their 9-point Monday night loss at Miami, I like Atlanta to bounce-back with the road win and cover tonight in Orlando against a Magic team they have held the upper-hand against of late.

Atlanta won a 81-72 decision over Orlando on November 19th, but they did fail to cover as the double-digit favorite. Still, Atlanta has won 5 in a row and 7 of the last 8 series showdowns, and they have covered in 6 of those 8 games.

The Hawks have won 9 of their last 11 games overall, so not a stretch to see them winning again tonight versus an Orlando team that should be a little tired being back home after 5 straight on the road (3-2 straight up!) in an 8 day span. The Magic has failed their last 5 as a home underdog, and they are on an overall 2-12 spread run in this series the last 14 meetings.

Must lay it with Atlanta this Wednesday night.

Trace Adams Thursday Game Analysis

[h=4]Thursday's Selection ...[/h] For Thursday night in the NFL, Raise the Bar 1500♦ Linemakers Lament on the visiting Cincinnati Bengals as the favorite against the host Philadelphia Eagles. At the time I release my selection, the Bengals are priced as the 4 1/2 point road favorites both in Vegas and offshore.

Well, the price is starting to rise on the Bengals, but I am confident the Cincy defense is the difference maker in tonight's contest, as the Bengals have allowed an average of just 12 points per game over their last 5, 4 of which were wins and covers by the Bengals.

Yes, Cincinnati was stunned at the wire this past Sunday at home to a Dallas team that was playing off the emotional death of a teammate. The Bengals are looking to get back to the postseason, and with a game AT Pittsburgh next week, and a home finale versus another division rival Baltimore to close out the regular season, I would say that tonight is a MUST WIN for Marvin Lewis' team.

Philadelphia ended a long 8 game losing streak by coming from 21-10 down last Sunday in Tampa. True, they get to play at home on a short week, but the Eagles are still on a 4 game straight up and against the spread losing streak in South Philadelphia, and the fans are just waiting to let out some "Boos" for the home team the minute something goes wrong.

While the Bengals offense has sputtered their last 2 games, their defense has racked up 42 sacks on the year, and against this make-shift Philadelphia offensive line, it will only be a matter of "when" not "if" the Bengals get to rookie Nick Foles.

Go ahead and lay it with the Bengals as this one has touchdown win written all over it for the visitors.
