I know who wrote it because I got a PM from that person a little while ago about the accuracy of the dates..The circumstances of The deaths are private and as far as I understand are known only to the immediate family at this point.
I really did not want to bring this up or post it but if it helps anyone believe the statement I posted above:
I called Ken's home last night on the house land line (a number I have had for 6 or 7 years) and spoke to a son who recognized my name wilheim and verified the fact that both Jackie and Ken have passed away.
He was rather distraught sounding and I didn't feel I had the right to ask for details of how they died. He simply told me they had died. I very quickly asked for permission to post his information and he gave it to me. I offered my most sincere condolences to him and his family and the conversation ended on a thank you and goodbye.
That is the God's honest truth.

Not that any of what we think makes a rats ass difference but I think the secrecy around the deaths is what has contributed to us sitting here (and over there) thinking one thing or another, which is, I agree, unfair to those who were closest to him.
Of course it doesnt help any that he has the importance to 'gambling forums' that he does, which makes everyone doubt what is going on. Add to that the events of the last week, the farewell, and everything clouds up in a hurry.

I know how this stuff works and for their not to be any thing posted or news it has to do with one of 3 things. None are good. I am pretty sure I know which one it is. But out of respect I will not post it.
Ken was a great guy that some loved and most hated but still a good person with the same interest as many if not all of us here.

I sure as hell hope that when I die (not like I am celebrity or anything) noone says that because its been (may be) handled privately....its a fake or something
Fact is: dead is painful and if the family wants it private then its private.......period.
This attitude of "everyone needs to know everything" is WRONG, I don't care who is demanding the details, if you are not a relative or a close friend then you have no business asking for the details of anything.

I want to let all of you know that he loved EOG and the posters...it was his passion. He mention this in a note he left for me and wanted to say he was sorry for leaving you all...mostly Mo, Blondie, Ball, and Jimmy who worked so hard to keep EOG rolling. I am at his desk...crying my eyes out as I type..
They left no reason for what they did thou I have my own ideas....I am just very sad and my heart is broken...I lost my best friend of the last 40+ years and the greatest mom a fellas could have....my heart is truely broken. If there is a heaven I know my mom is there planting flowers and waiting on her family to arrive one day....Kens family...by brother, our wives and their heartbroken grandchildren will celebrate their lives on Tuesday.
I know that there has been a lot of rumors flying around and I must admit I was worried this past week that something horrible had happened and my gut was right. I just wanted to come on and share with the folks at EOG what is the only truth in this terrible day....THE SHRINK and my mother are dead..

I can understand why people are skeptical. The last posts by Ken were very suspicious. Didn't seem like the type of message one would make if they were going on a vacation, not even an extended vacation. Would seem more like a suicide note or that he was going away never to be heard from again.
I think all of you are reading into too much shit on this. Their son confirmed they past away, he doesnt have to go into their whole life story for you, he said he has his beliefs of why they did what they did. Life is hard and you never know what some people are really dealing with in their heads and hearts. And if by some crazy chance they were in some type of witness protection program, you will never be hearing from them again anyways, so either way, pay your respects to them and their loved ones and leave it be
