RIP 🪦 Bill Walton. Was a kid when Celtics got him. Had no idea who he was
I went to the same High School as Walton, Helix High in La Mesa, CA.
Team won 49 consecutive games and 2 CIF championships in his varsity years. His senior year the team went 33-0.
Helix High is where it all started, not UCLA!
RIP Bill.

Bill Walton, " this is the greatest day in the history of western civilization ". His optimism, if not hyperbole, was very entertaining. I don't even know what type of cancer he had. Heck, not sure I knew he had cancer. RIP Bill.

Did you know hall of fame basketball player Bill Walton had an older brother Bruce Walton, who was an offensive lineman for the Dallas Cowboys? Both Walton brothers attended UCLA to play different sports. The 6'6, 251 pound Bruce Walton was a 5th round draft pick by the Cowboys in 1973. He was primarily a backup left tackle playing behind future hall of famer Rayfield Wright. Bruce Walton played 3 seasons with the Cowboys from 1973-1975. His final game was Super Bowl X , a 21-17 loss to the Pittsburgh Steelers at the Orange Bowl. Knee injuries ultimately ended his career in 1976. Bruce Walton passed away on October 18, 2019 at the age of 68. Bill Walton passed away today at age 71.

Fun Fact: The Waltons are the only brother combination in the history of professional sports to play in the NBA Finals and Super Bowl.

Well, absolutely amazing to me the Celtics can hold the Pacers scoreless the last 3:32 of the game and yet can't score themselves.
After cashing a 200 dime winner on the Pacers in game 3, I didn't think they had the fight to match Boston in game 4 but they did.
Or, could have been exactly what I said on Saturday with the 200 dimer, "this Celtics team has a tendency to get complacent and play down???'
Well they sure as hell did and it cost me a 75 dime winner.
Now we are off to T' Wolves and Mavs game 4.
Can the Mavs close it out or will Minnesota figure it out and win a game?
I happen to really love this game tonight and that is the reason I am coming with a 100 dime play.
14-8 Run
100 Dime Plays Or Higher
Let's make that 15-8 after tonight. End of story.

The Pick: My 150 Dime winner is the Dallas Mavs

The Line:
The current line is -2 in Vegas and offshore as of 1:30 pm EST. Be sure to shop around for the best line available.

My Analysis

They have yet to beat Kyrie Irving and Luka Doncic this year.

In the 4 regular season meetings, only one of those 4 games did Luka and Kyrie play together.

It was the January 7th meeting in Dallas and the Mavs won it 115-107 as Luka and Kyrie went for

In game one the Minnesota T' Wolves had the lead in the 4th quarter, threw up all over themselves and choked up the game one win.

Bottom line: They couldn't stop Kyrie who went for 35 and Luka who went for 34.

Well nothing has changed, as the Mavs has won the first 3 games of this series as Kyrie has scored 30, 20 and 33 points.

As for Luka, how does 33 in game one, 32 in game two and 33 in game 3l.

The problem facing Minny tonight is the fact they can't close. The Denver series took it all out of them,

And Karl Anthony Towns is struggling and If he couldn't figure it out in the 1st 3 games, I have no confidence he will figure it out.

Last, but certainly not least, the best closer in NBA Playoff history will not fail this evening.

In his career, Kyrie Irving has won 14 straight close out games. I am talking a perfect 14-0.

Let's make it 15-0 as the Mavs sweep the T' Wolves.
