My Analysis

Going to back the team with the longest current winning streak in college hoops.

The Samford Bulldogs started the year with 2 losses: at #1 Purdue 98-45 and at VCU 75-65.

They haven't lost since.

We're talking 17 wins in a row winning 16 of those 17 by 6-points or more.

The close one: At Western Carolina, where as 2-point dogs they won the game outright 75-71.

Now they take on the team they tied for the league title last year Furman.

Many expected these two to meet in the conference tourney final for the automatic bid to the dance but Samford was upset by Chattanooga in the 2nd round.

After a non conference schedule which saw them go 6-7, they have started conference play with a pair of double digit road losses.

They rolled into UNC Greensboro as a 5 1/2 point dog and got beat 79-68 and at Chattanooga getting +1 1/2 they were beaten soundly 73-58.

They have since won their last 4 beating 8-11 Citadel, 9-10 East Tennessee State, at 4-15 VMI and Western Carolina 65-62.

Only 2 of Furman's 9 wins have come against winning teams: 15-4 Western Carolina and 11-9 Belmont.

I just don't see Furman beating this team tonight.

A team that beat the two teams that Furman lost to, Greensboro and Chattanooga, by 15 and 9 respectively.

Oh, and the team that took Furman to the wire at home in their last game Western Carolina, Samford went on the road and beat them 75-71 a week ago.

Folks, you give me points with a team that has won 17 straight games against anyone. I will gladly take them.

If so According to mathematical probability, the odds of doing that are 128-1, but on the other hand in his case anyway means he

is due to win tonight although imo the odds are pretty good that he will at least one of the three games because 0-10 is pretty hard to

"achieve" no how bad a capper one is!!

It's back to my hottest sport....College Basketball.
Well, let's add an OT loss to the docket as I continue to try and work myself out of this cold spell.
Such was the case with the 50 dimer on Bowling Green last night, as they had chances at the end of regulation to end it but just a horrific possession.
And you just knew when the game went to OT, they would come up short and they most certainly did.
When you are a heater, you catch every break in the world. When you go cold, every decision is costly and such was the case with BGSU with that last possession in regulation.
Here is where the college hoop run stands:
