Chris Flexen was released by the Mets in 2019 and immediately went to pitch overseas in the Korean league. And wouldn't you know it as he helped his Doosan Bears to the Championship.
That led to Seattle signing him to a 1-year deal and in 2021 he was fantastic going 14-6 with a 3.61 ERA in 31 games.
Last year he was hurt by lack of run support and posted a 8-9 record with another rock solid ERA of 3.73 in 33 games.
However, this season everything that could go wrong did go wrong as he lost his first 4 starts and the Mariners gave up on him just like that.
Traded to the Mets, his old club released him 5 days later. After signing a minor league deal with the Rockies, he went right to their Triple AAA affiliate in Albuquerque.
He was lights out in 2 starts, most recently 5 shutout innings last Sunday striking out 6.
In 8 appearances against the A's in his career he has a 3.44 ERA.
Trust me folks, I have won a ton of money with this kid, watched his career closely and he is going to do very well with the Rockies, starting with this game tonight.
A's counter with Paul Blackburn, who over his last 8 starts is 1-2 with 4 no decisions, while his teammates have won just 2 of those 8 starts.
He has made 5 road starts this year, has yet to win and the A's have gone 1-4.
With the Rockies losing game one on Friday, I look not only a big bounce back game from them, but a great game from Flexen as well.

This wouldn’t be surprising at all even though it was -120 all day. This question is for those that get the pick. Does he not give a line that he bets it at when he sends it out? If I recall correctly during football season he gives a line we should be able to get at the time he supposedly gives the pick out.

But that is not the line they grade at. If the line moves throughout the day, they say they try and grade it at where it stayed the longest. But we all know they just grade it at whatever the fuck they feel like.
They really do not give a shit about grading correctly, or wins and losses for that matter. All they care about is making sales and making money for themselves. If they cared at all for clients they would be totally transparent with their records. Instead they cherry pick streaks and hide their long term losses as best they can. They are all crooks just looking to scam the next sucker who buys into their bullshit. Well, for the 2nd straight Saturday failure on muliple levels.
Chris Flexen made me a lot of money when he was running good in Seattle and I felt great about his prep work heading into his first start with the Colorado Rockies.
Against the worst team in baseball, he was garbage, so after cashing 4 straight 150 dime baseball releases, I now have dropped my last 2.
Bottom line: I just can't seem to get anything going in baseball right now with exception of this 80 dime release that is going for 4 in a row today.
I back pitchers who are hot, they implode. I back teams on winning steaks, their winning streaks come to an end.
Up is down, black is white. The dogs days of July have not been very good to me.
We are less than 30 days away from the start of College football, 28 to be exact.
Yes, there is money making opportunities in preseason football but we all know, week one of College football on August 26th is the DAY!!!!
