Going for a 4th straight 100 dime winner and 10th straight NBA playoff winner on Denver -5 1/2 last night, I only have 8 words to utter about the game.
"You have got to be fu&king kidding me."
Forget the fact for the 2nd straight game the Nuggets blew a double digit 4th quarter lead. Up 12 with 5:11 to go in game one, up 12 with 4:53 to go in game 2.
And just like game one, the Lakers are tossing up 3's that are going in, bankshot 3's that are going in. It was unreal.
And just like game 1 when Nickola Jokic, who had a near perfect game went to the line and made 1 of 2 late to create the push/loss scenario, Jamaal Murray did the same.
Murray had a playoff 4th quarter of his life scoring 23 points in the final stanza but his missed free throw with 19 seconds to go put the game on 5 rather than 6.
And that ladies and gentleman is how my run for a 10th straight playoff winner comes to an end.
Seriously, that is how my run for 10 in a row comes to an end???? Like that???
Sometimes you are just not meant to win a game and last night was one of those games. If you had the Lakers last night, you better go play the fuc#%@#ing lotto.
