I think you have a blind spot as to how lines are made but I'm not going to be the 1 to help you with that, that much is clear.
What i did notice is that around the time of the Antonio Brown signing & playing for the Pats there were huge line moves on the Pats to win the Super Bowl & their Conference. After Brown was gone, a very brief time later, the line didn't move back up. That suggests to me that the line moves were not based on air but on money bet.
Since then the line hasn't moved much at all. This suggests to me that there hasn't been enough action on the Pats to move the line even more & towards less value on the Pats & also there hasn't been enough action on other teams to increase the value on the Pats. So, in that sense, the line movements around the time of Brown becoming a Patriot brought the line to where it is today.
They're currently favored to win the AFC and superbowl, how much more confidence inspiring do you need?
That isn't exactly breaking news. Confidence in, or for, what? Everyone who follows future odds knows they're favored. So?
Flaws and all, team is still thought of in pretty high regard to be priced to be favored to win the AFC and superbowl (and signing Antonio Brown 8 weeks ago has nothing to do with where the odds are today)
The Brown signing brought the odds to where they were then, which is the same as where they are today. They haven't changed since. So, in that sense, his signing brought the odds to where they are today.
As far as beating up on cream puffs and getting whooped by B-More, if you think that forecasts a sign of dire things to come then your free to test that theory obviously.
Who in this thread has ever expressed they "think that forecasts a sign of dire things to come". Though, if you followed futures odds, you'ld know that recently there has been huge dollars come on the Ravens. Their odds to win the Super Bowl are not far off from those on the Pats.
If you are correct in what you are projectin', then you gonna start collectin'
What projectin'? Where have i stated any such thing, let alone a wager corresponding to it?
But the whole overrating schedule thing already worked out pretty badly for you if I may recall....

Huh? I wish i had made a very large pregame bet on the Falcons to win the Super Bowl over the Pats. I'd have made quite a sizable profit off of it.
