It's TROY Bergeron, but your analysis is spot on, my friend. Shocked to see Georgia open the chalk in this one.

My largest play for the week is a teaser. Waiting on Pinnacle to lay the lumber with thier 7.5 point Arena teasers. Good to see we are on the same side in the Dallas game. I actually got a better number and bet it earlier but will post a widely available line. Read your season column with 8 ball, very interesting read. Skeptical about a couple of the teams you have and their records but good read, my friend. :toast:

Cleveland actually has the worst season ticket support in the league as of last week. Something like only 1500 season packages sold so far.

you tell me you are the expert. Bernie Kosar is pretty excited about his new team, I think Cleveland will support them well.

I personally would wait to see how this team gels. Yes they have better squad but Garcia when healthy is still a terror at QB. I would pass personally and watch the game to assess what is going on. Good luck whatever you decide, I actually have this game as NY -4. :toast:

Guru/KC, How much do you think this Dallas line will move, since AFL lines are notorious for moving significantly? Any idea where this will settle?

you gotta be kidding me? On their sports offered, it clearly shows Arena Football. That would be misleading to anyone that wanted to join to bet on it. :WTF:

I am sick to my stomach. I just got the exact same email from Pinny:

So much for my 2 dime teaser. Got to re-assess the situation and come back tomorrow with either the same teaser minus the 1 point or another play. Good luck to all!! :toast:

King, I would love to jump aboard the bandwagon. What deposit method would you recommend at the Greek? I've never used them but heard great things. Heard someone mention something about a card for withdrawls. Please steer me in the right direction at the Greek. My line at Cris is at 3 for this game while Greek still offering 2. Thanks in advance.

The good news for me is that the Greek offers instadebit deposits and withdrawls, which is what I was using at Pinny. Looks like I'll be opening up an account at the Greek.

LA has one of the top defensive front that provides a pass rush that affects the opposing QB. Last time LA played NO last year, Avengers won by 12. Andy Kelly is not getting any younger and their big free agent WR threat got injured in preseason. They lost their #1 defender to free agency and even with him last year they were 5-11. Can't see how Avengers don't win the season opener at home here so this will be the first leg of my teaser:

1st leg of teaser:

LA Avengers -2

San Jose is getting older yes but they know how to win. They are the champions and even with 2 picks and 2 turnovers on downs last time they played Chicago, they only lost by 3 points. Now you have an addition with veteran QB Bonner and the main question is how fast will he gel with the team. There is no question Grieb will be firing on all cylinders having played with his core for years, main question is how fast can Bonner get adjusted. Think it will be a battle and I think Clevan will get a pick or two as the Cats are fimiliar with Bonner and rivals for years. Should be a close one.

2nd leg of teaser:

SJ Sabercats +7

Official Play

6 point teaser at Cris:

LA -2 & SJ +7 ($2000 to win $2000)

SEASON TOTAL $0

Hey King, I noticed you are using betcris, and I checked them out and they also use Instadebit deposit/withdrawls, which is what I like. Is betcris better than greek for Arena? Thanks.

Teasers are generally so dumb in this league... but in this case, it's not that bad. You should be ok on the LA side. You'd like to think you'll be ok on the San Jose side since they've won 13 straight and basically brought back the whole team, but the Kitties have a bad history against the Rush, especially in Chicago.

Here are my week 1 picks for ArenaFan...

Would that be $2,200 to win $2,000 King?

No sir, Betcris has +100 (Even) money on 6 point Arena.

Ice: Greek is better overall, cheaper for withdrawls and Greek releases the lines first. Cris has better teaser odds and both not scared to take heavy action.

Guru:

General rule of thumb Arena teasers are normally of lesser value than NFL. Heard the exact same thing about CFL and the additional points saved me more than 70% of the time based on my records. In the case where teams normally play each other to the wire, there is tons of value. In the case of San Jose, I strongly feel the game will be within 7 points either way, I just don't know who will win. I like the fact that Bonner is with a new team so new offensive scheme and new players. The Avengers I feel strongly will win, not sure about the cover. I could easily see LA up 12 and the Voodoo getting a garbage TD for the back door. I guess only time will tell. SJ although they lost in Chicago it was only by 3 with Matt at the helm and 4 stops by Chicago that is why I sided with the Cats. Will take a read a little later this afternoon to see who you are on.

Good luck all!! :toast:
