Pimpy, do you think this guy has the potential to be as bad as the Langatng? I've been watching him, and he's prettyawful, but Lang was in a class by himself. None the less a fading we shall go!

Time will tell. All the numbers I've seen from Chambers shows he's right up there with Lang in Fade potential. Lang has sucked for many years and is a real person. The Chambers character has been around for just a little over a year and is not a real person. I'd like to know who is the guy behind the curtain that picks for the Chambers character... maybe it's Lang himself, LOL.

Dom Chambers Saturday Action

My 60 Dime play is on the Pittsburgh Pirates on the run line to beat the San Diego Padres. Checking the sports books the Pirates are a +120 underdog on the run line.

ANALYSIS

The Pirates remain a contender in the N.L. Central and one of the main reasons for their resurgence has been A.J. Burnett. He has flourished in Pittsburgh.

Overall, he is 14-3 with a 3.19 ERA. At home, he is 7-0 with a 2.00 ERA and a 1.049 WHIP. He gets even better in his last three starts. He is 3-0 with a 1.44 ERA and a WHIP of 0.560. He has been outstanding, especially at home.

In his last two starts, he held the Reds to two runs in 8 2/3 innings. The previous start, he took a no-hitter into the eighth inning against the Cubs.

Look for him to shut down the Padres.

As for the Padres, Jason Marquis starts, and has had his problems. He is 7-10 with a 5.47 ERA. On the road, he is 4-4 with a 5.82 ERA.

Look for the Pirates to bounce back after losing the opener of the series.

The Pirates will get to Marquis, while Burnett shows no signs of slowing down.

Take the Pirates on the run line.

If there is a play it will get posted and records will be updated but for me personally I won't be fading until I see a video from him. The way all that shit went down with him losing 15 in a row and then suddenly going on vacation, to the London Olympics, LOL, yeah, sure, and announcing he will only have a play when it is BIG and then the first play back is some small 25 dimer, all just seems fishy.

Meanwhile old Dom has become my daily fade and will continue to be my only fade unless I see some kind of proof that Lang is still around and hasn't been fired again. The last time he was fired they were still releasing plays under his name until they came with the big announcement that he was fired. Who knows, we could be seeing the same thing happening all over again. Lang didn't have a write-up on that last play he had so no way to compare writing styles.

Dom Chambers Sunday Action

My 50 Dime play is on the Atlanta Braves to beat the New York Mets. Checking the sports books the Braves are a –115 favorite. Make sure you list the pitchers. If they fail to make the start, the bet is void.

ANALYSIS

For the Braves Ben Sheets starts. His comeback is nothing short of remarkable.

Overall, his ERA is 1.41 with a WHIP of 1.187. On the road, he is even better, going 2-0 with a 0.68 ERA. He has come in and given the Braves some quality starts.

Jonathan Niese starts for the Mets. He has a tougher season. Overall, he is 8-6 with a 3.82 ERA. At home, the ERA rises to 4.14. In his last three starts, he is 1-2 with and ERA of 5.21.

He has been getting worse.

The Braves have been on a roll lately, winning their last three games and five of their last six games.

The opposite is true for the Mets, as they have lost two in a row and five of their last six games.

The Braves are the hotter team with the better pitching. All the edges favor the Braves.

Dom's website on last nights game...

Was that really Jason Marquis flirting with a no-hitter against the Pirates? Where did that come from. When a player has the game of his season, there is not much you can do about it.

I am more determined than ever to back on the winning side.

He's always "more determined than ever" after a loss, LOL. I think Budin needs to hire a new ghost writer for this fake clown.
