Williams should have played more than he did….
Yeaheasy for people to say this watching on TV when he comes in and swats a few shots, throws down some dunks, has the crowd going nuts. Almost every coach is gonna feel a comfort with Horford over him until Horford struggles.
but he's gonna blow assignments, commit fouls, miss FTs
a lot of those big athletic shotblocker types look great at first until teams figure out how to attack them better
he's a decent player but big holes in his game vs the best teams
Yeah
Though Horford is pretty close to done
Agree. Really valuable on defense this run. Just think he’s getting to that time. He’s stretched it longer than I thought he wouldHe won't be easy to replace, 1 of the most underrated players of the last 15 years
Even this series, after gm 3 Bam basically couldn't do shit on him. He owned Embiid too, which he made look a lot easier than it is.
He would've had to play a ton in the finals vs Jokic though, think he would've provided a decent hiding spot for Jokic on D too since he can't really score around the basket anymore.
Might beThink Brown is gone.
Maybe it’s too fresh
Yep Al Horford is done.Might be
Unless they can land another key player to help
As good a career as Al Hortford has had, he just doesn't have much left and it's been a liability for Boston
Tatum too passive
Polar opposite of last Game 7
Gotta play through a rolled ankle
Agreed. But this is a game Jaylen Brown should have dropped 40.I'm assuming his injury was serious. Probably doesn't play any other game. You just can't play through every injury. There are different levels of severity dontchaknow. Plus his game is speed and lift. Can't get his shot off with neither separation or elevation
I've seen enough of Tatum to see he's the real deal
Agreed. But this is a game Jaylen Brown should have dropped 40.
The fact Derrick White was the one trying to play more aggressive to replace Tatum says a lot.

Will be interesting what Boston does....
I think they have to sign Brown to max if not close to max.
I don't think they fire the coach. So will be a run back of which I think fans will have a problem with....
Like the Bucks in 2020. If you couldn't win the championship this year---not sure how the path will get any easier.
