Reminds me more of Lakers/Pistons when the Pistons upset them with RIP and Wallace and crew
Denver doesn't have an old team just throwin together this season.

Nor does Miami have a talent of players 4 to 5 deep.

Heat just beat the two best teams. Denvers wins were no more impressive
I won't be surprised either way who wins but I will say laying -375 seems like quite the sucker bet

If the Heat do win the series it will break about a 40 yr run with several known factual statistical categories in playoff history. I think there's more value in Denver -1 1/2 games than there is with any Miami wager. This series won't go 7 and probably not 6. With that being said they are extremely over their heads in this series.

also if you want to make a bet ill give you Heat +355 for however much money you can scrape together.

but normally people won't be their money where their mouth is---since you wouldn't be surprised either way +355 should be a no brainer.

Come to daddy.

Martin got 4/9 ECF votes, that’s crazy

He played the series of his life but gimme a break, doubt too many had money on butler since it was close to the heat odds but that would’ve been absurd if he actually won over Butler.

I'll give Boston and Milwaukee this....

Who could have planned on Miami shooting around 50 percent from 3 for an entire series. Its pretty laughable.

Isn't Butler's career 3 point percentage comparable to Giannis?
Can’t leave in rhythm/good shooters open that consistently

Bucks and Celtics did

Are those good shooters though?

I guess.
Duncan had an outlier year with rotation cut, plus injury I believe

His % was flukeishly bad

Id rather him shoot a 3 than any player on the Celtics by a mile

Strus, Martin, Vincent, even Love all capable when the defense is lazy like Boston’s

I have a soft spot for Duncan.

My AAU teammate/one of my lifelong friends played with him at Williams.

Cool to see him at this level

He is a good shooter. But dear God, defensively he makes Grayson Allen look like Gary Payton.

A normal championship team he would he unplayable in play offs.(imo)

Same with Kevin love.

Outside of paying Hassan Whiteside an enormous amount of money(right at the line of realizing useless stats) paying Duncan was the dumbest move the Heat have made recently...

Duncan has sucked since he signed his contract in summer of 2021. This playoff run, he is looking almost as good as “bubble Duncan”. I LOVE when he drives the lane.

I want to say this is the same roster as last year minus PJ Tucker but plus Kevin love.

caleb Martin started most of the year. Gave Vincent took over PG when crappy Lowry went down. Lowry has been a very good player off of the bench.

Strus is a solid 3 point shooter and plays better D than Duncan.

I still think losing Herro is addition by subtraction. However I would have loved to see him when Vincent didn’t play.

most Celtics fans remind me of people in the poly forum who still think that someone else won the election

makes me laugh when people on here still don’t give them credit

Love did a very good job in the Milwaukee series

You’re either on the wrong side, or the white side.

they actually traded him to Portland to free up $$$$ to sign Jimmy butler

I haven't been so made since the bubble and the bucks losing to Duncan and Herro.

"Bucks are fucking losing to players that look like they belong on the Wisconsin Badgers basketball team!"

Yep. He won me some $500 fantasy basketball leagues with his worthless stats in Portland. When their equally worthless starting center went down.

I think he is out of the league now...

I went to a bucks vs HEAT playoff game the next season. Giannis got a triple double.

I rooted for them for the rest of the playoffs as I loved watching the bucks chemistry on the bench.

I loved how Brooke Lopez has a special handshake with each player.

plus their fans weren’t being dicks (packer fans are pretty nice as well)
