I actually covered one of those games, damn

I was thinking foul on a 3 point attempt, and only one free throw made by some dude who shoots 98.9 from the FT line

that's how those games finish for me (I have to win by 3 or more possessions)

Alright, before bed... I had time to ponder this and I think I was out of line. I think I understand what you guys are saying now. If I had to start a franchise from scratch, knowing full well we were going to suck for couple years while the better teams with better players got older and we accumulated lottery picks and developed players, and I wanted to have the best team in 5-6 years, I would select Anthony Davis #1 all day!! My apologies.

You got there eventually. No one is saying Davis is better.

Well Patsfan, it looks like you were onto something. Noah was basicallybenched last game.. yet it got absolutely no media play.

Bulls went small, and I think late it hurt them.

Yet, I'm holding out hope that they put in Noah today and he can keep tristan off the glass... As much as I like Gasol in this system ( a player I despise at the 5) , If Gasol's injury means more minutes for Mirotic, then I'm all for it.

I'm sticking to my guns.. Bulls ML again today...

Great 1st for Bulls.

If they get bench points, they can run away with this.
Gibson in foul trouble could be a problem if it continues...

Irving continues to be nonexistent

This game is ugly. A lot of banged up guys, bad shooting but great intensity/atmosphere

has the feel of a college game

LeBron hasn't played well at all and Kyrie was pretty much dead out there. Bulls could win the series cause Cavs are on fumes but hard to envision LeBron not substantially improving.

So much for another Defying prediction.

What's next? Cam Newton will be 2015 MVP? Jameis Winston will never be arrested again? RG 3 will play 16 games and have a winning record? The Colts will have a 2 game losing streak against the Jags?

AD over Lebron.... @)

The RX attracts some real winners... lmao.

Today was a great example of why everyone not names AK would take AD over LJ going forward.
Yes for sure LJ is one of the all time greats but he plays a different game now then he did just 3 years ago.

His game is not nearly as physical as it use to be .

He is a smarter player then ever but this game would not have been close if it was the LJ of the past.

But go ahead and be the only person in the world that would not make that trade while thinking everyone is an idiot but you.

90% of peak LeBron is still a great player but there are definitely some cracks. Dude has played an unreal amount of minutes in his career. He is 30 but he might be a lot older 30 than people think.

I think we can all agree seasons 5-11 pretty much capture most of LeBron's absolute prime. Look at his #s this year, you already see a decline.

Seasons 5 through 11 (526 games)
38.4 mpg, 28.0 ppg, 7.6 rpg, 7.1 apg, 52-35-76%, 8.7 FTA, 3.3 TO, 30.1 PER, .283 WS/48

Playoff Career (158 games)

42.5 mpg, 28.0 ppg, 8.4 rpg, 6.4 apg, 48-33-76%, 9.7 FTA, 3.4 TO, 27.7 PER, .242 WS/48

Season 12 (57 games)

36.2 mpg, 26.0 ppg, 5.7 rpg, 7.4 apg, 49-35-72%, 8.0 FTA, 4.2 TO, 26.2 PER, .196 WS/48.

Then there are the little things you see with your eyes, when he used to get the ball in transition it was over. He was the best transition player the league has ever seen, just a full throttle locomotive that either got fouled or scored. Now if there is an opening he takes it but a lot of times he either looks to pass or waits for the offense to get set. Defensively he doesn't make nearly as many weakside blocks as he used to. Doesn't run anyone down like he used to.

He's still a great player but not the all out force of nature that he was at his apex

The last two games he is 18/55 from the field with 15 turnovers. Game 1 he wasn't very good either. Just referencing his bulk stats when he plays 40 mins a game and handles the ball every possession is going to be deceiving.

Really there probably aren't too many times in NBA history where you would take the best 30+ years old player over the best under 23 years old player. Maybe when Jordan was 31 but he played 3 years of college and 2 years of baseball which likely helped his longevity. Even then you probably take a 19 year old Kobe or 25 y/o Shaq over him or whatever.

I think lebron has slowed down a bit. Still the best player in the league in my opinion but I think the unfamiliarity with his team has hurt a little bit. As far as taking Anthony Davis over him? Tough call....I've heard some feel that AD might be a Kevin Garnett type player for his career....nothing wrong with that though. If the nba held a draft tomorrow and I had first pick....i probably go lebron but wouldn't argue those who would take AD

He's averaging 26.2 pts, 11 boards, and 8.8 assists the last 5 games. And he's doing this with a hobbled Kyrie Irving, no Love, playing against a stellar Bulls defensive team. You guys are out of your minds. The Bulls would crush the Cavs if they had AD instead of Lebron. Lebron is a game changer, can make any lineup no matter how scrubby in to a contender.

You guys have lost it. It's a good 4-5 years before talking about AD over Lebron. And by then I have a feeling there will be more competition for AD as I think his stock is falling in terms of being a guy that can win with anyone.

If Kevin Garnett was 22 and in the NBA right now, you would take him over LeBron. That isn't like a grand insult or anything. LeBron is a great player but there are some universal truths in life.

Sheriff Joe is going to intellectually dominate AK and father time is undefeated
