I will try to make it quick today.

Ext. 9-pump for September Five Star.

There are two Marquees for tonight for $12 apiece.

Pump for the Big Dog Play.

THE BIG DOG COMP. OF THE WEEK IS TENNESSEE + 14 1/2.

Ext. 3-another pump for the Five Star.

Also in his usual way Phil/NC has today's "Dinner Special"(or is it?).

We are told that Full Executive Service for a non PS subscriber is $450.

However if you are a PS subscriber for 2019, the "Special" is just $149 for everything NC puts out..

Todd goes further to try convince us that this is a great price as the Late Phones alone for PS subscribers cost $144-so why not just throw

in the extra $5 to get everything.

My comment is as always is that the $144 to begin with is too high in itself, which negates everything they say in their sleazy/slick/slimy way of advertising.

THE NFL TOTALS PLAY OF THE WEEK IS UNDER BUFFALO 44.

Early thoughts

Imo a strong opinion for the September Five Star is Wisconsin.

I say that for several reasons:

1) Phil/NC has used them before in other September Five Stars as well as in othe Games of Something.

2) The game goes at noon-again historically speaking, in many instances Phil/NC prefer an early verdict with their big plays.

3) Wisconsin is in a revenge position having been spanked by Michigan last year-revenge has also been a factor many times for NC for big game choices.

Back later.

Forget my semi prognostication here.

I just checked PowerSweep and see that Michigan is the Underdog Play of the Week.

I think I will just stick to reporting and commentary from now on. lol

Ok here we got with a quick tape today.

Ext. 9 is simply a rehash of post 141 which I posted yesterday.

The only thing different this year as opposed to other years is that Todd doesn't add the urgency for PS Subscribers to get the so called codes because "the phones will

be ringing off the walls tomorrow in order to get the September Five Star and you may not be able to get through." lol

Also I chose word "rehash" above to be polite and for a reason.

Namely rather than say that this week's various specials like all the other NC ones aren't worth sh t, I chose to say/imply that they are worth about the same

as corned beef "hash" as served by your local greasy diner.

THE BIG TEN PLAY OF THE WEEK IS CONNECTICUT/UCONN +27 1/2.

Ext. 3 remains totally unchanged from yesterday.

Here we go-more confusing/ different and conflicting pricing and/or overlapping specials offered earlier in the week.

Ext.9 I will be brief -$100 for the Five Star and $150 for all side plays including Five Star for non PS sunscribers.

$50 for the second best college side play only(I have never heard them advertise the #2 play separately-in short more desperate bullshit advertising lol).

$50 for top college total and $100 for all of the totals.

$12 for all three Marquees.

THE COLLEGE TOTALS PLAY OF the WEEK IS OVER WEST VIRGINIA 48 1/2.

Ext. 3 Nothing really new here-message concentrates on PS subscriber pricing and appears to be unchanged from what was offered earlier in the week.

THE COLLEGE SIDE COMP. IS STANFORD + 10 1/2.

Well we don't know how NC's Five Star on Texas A&M is going to do, but it sure as hell can't be much easier than on Wisconsin, which as stated above

meets Phil Steele's own criterion rather than on Michigan which they gave out as their PS Underdog Play of the Week. lol

Thoughts so far on the day:

With two games still out (Washington State and UNDER Utah St.), I have NC at 2-4 in sides and 2-1 in totals.

Most importantly though they lost their famed and very important to the success September Five Star on Texas A&M which all PS subscribers get for free(as

well of course as just about anyone else who has a computer lol).

Phil has considerd this play probably the most important one of the year because of the fact that they pump this play ad nauseam from

the time before the season even opens until the day play goes as an incentive to buy a PS subscription.

Thus even though they have a very good lone term good record with this play, they did lose today, which at the very least doesn't help the NC cause.

In fact I recall a number of years back when a big play like this one lost((I actually am pretty sure it was the September Five Star), Phil was so enraged

that he fired tge comp. guy shortly thereafter and replaced him(I think it was Ralph Michaels who was fired but not sure, but

whoever it was also had a hand on deciding the play).

Imo what also hurts Phil/NC bigtime here is that last week NC had an overall 9-1 record in college losing only their TOM.

I think that folks may have taken notice of that and perhaps may have turned the corner so to speak and were about to go on a nice run.

Even if they should win the two games remaining and finish 4-5, imo most people are going to yawn, dismiss last week's very good record as an aberration

and come to the conclusion "Same old Phil Steele/NC."

Back Sunday morning with final summary of the day and more.

I have NC at 2-5 in sides or -14.9 units and totals 3-1 or +6.7 units or -8.2 units on the day.

They lost their Five Star and well as their two four stars in sides and won their four star in totals.

As stated in previous post, it sure as heck was not what the doctor ordered.

Back after today's comp. message.

Short and sweet.

The recap was honest-the only thng I could cite Todd for was stating that the Five Star lost but not stating also that the other two four star rated side

plays also lost while at the same time stating that the four star rated total won.

THE PRO PLAY OF THE WEEK IS MINNESOTA -9.

ps No surprise with pricing-$50 for top play or $75 for all three plays.

Actually there is one other thing that I do want to say.

Imo if there was actually anyone who shelled out the $100 for the September Five Star and/or the $150 to get all of the college sides yesterday,

and who obviously got hammered, in an act of good faith Phil/NC should at the very least give them the top NFL play today if not all of them for free.

This is strange:

A few minutes ago I saw the NC picks posted here and now they are no longer there.
I would wait for confirmation.

3.5 Pitt
3 OVER New Orleans
3) UNDER Denver

Apparently above are not the real plays.

These are what were just posted-play at your own risk!

0-2 on the day-NC will need the Rams to make it a "respectable" losing day.

And just think. a non PS subscriber could have had all of the Late Phone Sides and Totals yesterday along with the three NFL plays today for a "mere" $325!

1-2 day losing 3.1 units caps off a lousy weekend.

Keep you chin up, "Steeleites" as the NFL GOM, which will obviously go next weekend as it is the last weekend of the month, will bail you out and

put you on the road to riches which will exceed your wildest hopes and dreams.cheersgiflol

Back late Monday morning or more likely Monday afternoon as it looks like my wife and I will be going to shop at the Mall

with all of the money NC has made for us this season.
