Ok here we go with the weekly recaps:
Recaps for Week Seventeen:
College sides and totals 2-2 with .6 units LOST.
Pros 3-1 with 5.2 units WON.
Overall for the week 4.6 WON or $460 at $100 a unit.
The cheapest cost of service for a non PS subscriber of the several mentioned to get all of the Late Phone Plays
including this Monday was $464.
The cost was actually difficult to determine because Todd was all overall the place with different prices,
and only Executive Service was offered for the week and no Late Phones only.
I determined the $264 price by using the $189 price offered early in the week for FES for the Bowls
and then adding on $75 on Sunday which included Sunday and the Monday Night Magic Play.
Anyways, factoring in the cost, it is seen that 1.96 units were WON or $196 at $100 a unit.
Thus they broke the five week losing streak but hardly made a dent in the huge deficit amassed.
including this Monday was $464.

Early Look.
The big question for me is that even though NC broke their five week devastating losing streak last week, the fact is that they picked up a scant couple of
units compared to the massive deficit incurred in the prior five weeks.
They have had exactly five week winning weeks and twelve losing weeks and only two what one would call truly outstanding weeks for the season.
Imo they may be due (famous last words) for a week they can really shout about.
Thus imo IF AND ONLY IF they get off to a good start during the next few days, it MIGHT be a good idea to follow them/play their games for the rest of the streak.
I myself might very well do this but will play the games for reasonable amounts using my own scaling system for the simple reason that a day or two of
winning(if it occurs) ensures nothing after that.
In short what I say above is just a hunch, and it wouldn't be shocking if NC loses again this week.
ps it goes without saying that if we can't get the plays in a timely manner, which is a decent possibility, then what I said above is irrelevant.

Good start for NC as it wins its first star rated play of the week.
One trick to beware of is that if form holds, Steele/Todd/NC will tease everyone with its BOWL GOY and state that they never announce in
advance when it will be.
The reason that they do this is to try to scare you into buying one of their packages so that you will not possibly miss it when it comes on short notice.
One of two things are evident here:
1) they know god damn when the GOY will be and what the team is but don't want announce it early on for fears that people will be
interested in buying ONLY that game but NOT others along with it which would cost more.
2) NC really does not what the GOY is and/or what the team is but will SCRIPT it to meet marketing needs in a manner so as to extort
as much money as possible for those who may be interested.
There may be other possibilities also-most importantly that whatever they do, it is in the self serving interests of Phil Steele/NC ONLY
and that the potential clientele is viewed ONLY in terms of doing whatever is needed to get folks to part with their money.

price they would charge for a similar package for the Late Phones.

I just emailed NC and told them how incompetent and stupid they are by pumping only the Marquees package today but not even mentioning
that they have two Late Phone Star rated plays going.
It is pretty sad that Steele and the other incompetents over there are so intent into selling some picks, that they hurt their own cause.

If anyone has the time and inclination, I strongly suggest that read post 1 in this thread from this forum which was written
more than 15 years ago by someone else.
What is most telling is that even though this article is more than 5 years old, most of the negative stuff the poster says about Phil Steele/NC
