A heads-up for those who follow this thread.

My family and I will be on vacation in a much warmer place beginning next Monday Morning Nov. 25 and will not be returning until Tuesday Dec. 3rd in the afternoon.

During that time I will not be posting anything at all, ie the plays, record keeping, commentary, etc. because well after all it is a vacation and there are better

and more enjoyable things to do.

I will be checking the main service thread and/or for the SM for the plays and will be calling the comp. line each day and take notes if anything important

is stated.

When I come back on Tuesday, I will do the usual recaps sometime later in the day with any commentary.

If possible it would be nice if Buzz Kill and/or if someone else bring the plays from main service section over here.

If not, then if/when they are posted, you will have to get them in main service thread.

All of this also means that if you are interested in listening to the comp. line messages, the pricing/daily "dinner specials" and/or Todd's daily bullshit and

deceptions in my absence, you will have to call the comp. line on your own. lol

It goes without saying that as is always the case, feel free to post anything you want about Phil Steele/NC or anything related to this.

I will remind people of my upcoming vacation this Sunday.

Back later on.

Here we go.

Ext. 9 We find out that NC won its Marquee Play on OVER Buffalo.

We get the usual "Always on a Thursday" plug for the Big Dog (how many of you folks remember the great song, not always but NEVER on a Sunday?") Plays

and that's it)

THE RON JEREMY/BIG DICK/DONG/SALAMI/WANG/WEENIE/MONKEY/HOG/DOG COMP OF THE WEEK IS NEVADA + 14.

Ext. 3 Not much except the glorified SHORT TERM ONLY records of SELECTIVE portions of the NC record as well as the repetition of prices

for TOY Weekend.

THE NFL TOTALS COMP. OF THE WEEK IS UNDER JETS 46 1/2.

Every Thursday during the season Phil Steele will provide his top plays across the college football landscape.
Here is Phil's best bets for the 13th full week of the college football season:

Season ATS records:

Steele record: 29-34 (5-0 last week)

Note: Lines displayed are Caesars Sportsbook lines as of Wednesday night.

Texas Longhorns at No. 14 Baylor Bears (-5)

Steele: Texas lost at Iowa State last week 23-21 on a field goal on the final play of the game. The Longhorns' defense has been getting a little healthier and has held the previous three opponents to 36 yards per game below their season average. Baylor led Oklahoma 28-3 last week but let it slip away at the end in a tough, all-out effort that ended in a home loss. The past three times Baylor has been favored, it needed overtime to get past Texas Tech and TCU and beat West Virginia by only three. Tom Herman is an outstanding 16-3 ATS as an underdog during his head-coaching career, including 11 outright upsets.
ATS pick: Texas +5.5

Tennessee Volunteers at Missouri Tigers (-4)

Steele: Missouri had been two different teams this season, as the Tigers are 5-1 at home and 0-4 on the road. The past four weeks, Missouri is 0-4, losing by an average score of 25-7 with an offense that has produced just 259 yards per game. Tennessee has won three in a row and needs only one more win to wrap up a bowl bid. The Volunteers' defense has held its past four foes to 85 yards per game below their season average. My average game grades have Tennessee playing at a 99.6 level the past four weeks, with Missouri at an 85.4 grade in that span. Factor in the home field, and that would have Tennessee by 10.2, yet the Volunteers are catching four points.
ATS pick: Tennessee +4

Syracuse Orange at Louisville Cardinals (-9)

Steele: A few weeks ago, I picked Boston College (+3) over Syracuse, and BC destroyed the Orange 58-27, dropping Syracuse to 3-6. That ugly loss was the fifth straight loss against the spread for Syracuse, and it figured to get extra line value the rest of the season. But Dino Babers is a master motivator, upsetting Clemson in 2017 and nearly doing so again the following year. He had a bye to convince his team that it could win the last three games and get to a bowl. Last week showed that the team bought in, as the Orange beat Duke on the road 49-6. One of their top defensive players, defensive tackle McKinley Williams had been out all season but returned in that game and was disruptive.
Louisville was generally picked last in its division and last week was outgained by NC State 377-326 but took advantage of a Wolfpack team missing its top five defensive backs and won 34-20. That clinched a bowl bid for the Cardinals and sparked a celebration, and on deck, they have their in-state rival Kentucky. Three of the Cardinals' ACC wins have been by two, three and seven points, and they are laying nearly double digits here.
ATS pick: Syracuse +9.5

Boston College Eagles at No. 16 Notre Dame Fighting Irish (-19)

Steele: Boston College is fresh off a bye, and Notre Dame is playing for a fifth straight week. The Irish are just 1-5 ATS their past six home finales. Boston College has an explosive offense with an underrated offensive line opening holes for 282 rush yards per game and allowing just five sacks all season. Teams load the box to stop the run, but the Eagles are passing for 202 yards per game. Notre Dame has faced seven Power 5 teams this season and is plus-15 yards per game in those. Steve Addazio is 13-3-1 ATS as an away underdog the past six season, and I will side with the Eagles as nearly three-touchdown underdogs.
ATS pick: Boston College +19

Houston Cougars at Tulsa Golden Hurricane (-3)

Steele: Houston has been giving reasonable effort versus some solid teams in recent weeks but appeared to run out of gas in the second quarter versus Memphis last week. The Cougars were outgained 531-256 to fall to 3-7. Houston has a banged-up offensive line and has numerous players redshirting for next season. Tulsa is also 3-7 but could have a much better record. In its most recent game, Tulsa upset a strong UCF team at home 34-31. The Hurricane defense is holding foes to 44 yards per game below their season average, and Tulsa is fresh off a bye.
ATS pick: Tulsa -3

Re: previous post by Bzz Kill which contain one sets of many of Phil Steele's sets of plays for the week.

Consider the record even with last week's 5-0:

Every Thursday during the season Phil Steele will provide his top plays across the college football landscape.

Here is Phil's best bets for the 13th full week of the college football season:

Season ATS records:

Steele record: 29-34 (5-0 last week)

What this tells by reading the writeups, is that most of what Steele compiles isn't worth shit because if it was, he would not be five games under 500

but rather would be way above 500.

What is also interesting here but not really that surprising is the Late Phone College Plays are along the same lines, namely lots of moderate losing

weeks with a couple of outstanding week factored in.

Good services show a lot more consistency than Steele/NC, and unlike the latter can actually show a profit at the end of the season.

Using today as an example, Todd tries to dazzle us with all of the SHORT TERM winning streaks with VERY SELECTED SERVICES OVER VERY

SELECTIVE TIME FRAMES.

Yeah it is all nice to know that this won or that won over this time frame or that frame, and if you had bet ONLY these picks over ONLY those time frames,

you would have made money.

More importantly though as I have documented if you have been playing ALL of the NC Late Phone picks for this season and the last

three, you are deep in the red, which is the bottom line.

Steele/NC are obviously using the philosophy of hoping that people "buy the sizzle rather than the steak."

The difference between Steele/NC and me is that unlike them, I don't hide anything or try to spin their record.

I give documented and COMPLETELY HONEST weekly and cumulative records for the Late Phones whether they win or lose

so that people if for some reason they can't get the picks for free, they will have a fair both short term and longer term basis to make a decision

as to whether they wish to purchase the picks or not.

On the other hand with Steele/NC, you get only the portions of their records which have been winning over their selective times frames upon

which to base their decision.

It goes without saying which way is more objective and honest-hint-it sure as heck isn't theirs. lol

This is who NC had tonight according to the SM.

Actually I had them also and needed that last score with time running out to put the game over.

I just checked the SM, and for the record NC had OVER Houston and NC State as the other Marquee side play, meaning that they went 0-2 tonight.

Random Thoughts

The title of this section is inspired by what the reigning dictator moderator/Wayne at CM sometimes referred to in what i said in my posts and

also in a sense by Bill Maher's New Rule's secton of his tv show Real Time with Bill Maher.

Everyone of what is to follow starts with the words I wonder if

1) I wonder if Phil Steele takes time off on Christmas Eve and Christmas Day from his usual 15 hour a day work week to spend it with his wife

and family.

2) I wonder if The Late Phones, Executive Service, Marquees, The Economy Club, the Big Dog Plays, comps. all types of opinions. PowerSweep, PowerPlays,

all of Phil Steele's private picks from his own sets of picks in his own newsletters, the stuff which Buzz Kill posts here and in short every single

pick put out by Phil Steele/NC went undefeated in a given week(ie not just the top picks but ALL of the picks), if they would dramatically increase the price

and/or whether they would have to hire lots of new staff to accommodate the thousands of people calling the office to sign up for the picks.

The NC Website server would be down indefinitely because it would not be able to handle the traffic.

3) I wonder if Phil Steele actually believes he/NC is/are by far the best handicapper even though the documented results over time tell a far different story.

4) I wonder if Phil Steele has to schedule appointments for his wife for intimacy(assuming there is any) since he is so wrapped/up dedicated to

obtaining every last stat., trend, angle, etc. about every football team in existence as well as each and every single player on that team that

he needs to find time for this.

5) I wonder if for whatever reason Phil Steele was no longer involved in handicapping nor with NC and wanted to do something different in life,

what would he do-would he try selling used cars, selling snake oil products on those late evening snake oil infomercials or what?

6) I wonder if Phil Steele has multiple mirrors and photos of himself all over his home and especially on his desk so that he can admire himself 100%

of the time as being the greatest handicapper in the history of the world ever while he goes about his 15 hour daily routine work day.

I wonder if when he does find time to sleep, whether he has programmed his subconscious so that his dreams consist of all of his "wonderful success'

in his handicapping endeavors as well as of curs being deified by everyone in the gambling world.

7) I wonder if Phil Steele is religious and if so, what he prays for when he goes to church-is it more likely that it would be for his health and that of his family,

peace on earth or "perhaps" that he wins the vast majority of his picks.

8) I wonder if the overall sleazy and deceptive manner in which he as the owner runs NC and has always runs NC, was something he did on his own

or was taught to/instilled in him in his upbringing or by someone else.

9) I wonder if it will ever happen that when one of his picks loses, he will ever attribute to faulty handicapping on his part rather than on the players

and themselves for not doing what they were supposed to do based on his "infallible" and never changing handicapping methodology.

10) I wonder if when Phil Steele passes, that will be the end of NC(assuming it is still in business) or whether he will trust someone else(perhaps one of

his kids) to run it in the same "honest and exemplary" was it is being run by him now.

Back this afternoon.

So just my luck with NorthCoast, I bought his marquee package for the year and hit an area where he was below 50% give me a net overall loss… As I’m waiting for the streaks to continue because I know he gets streaky and his Marquees get streaky....sometimes they are better than his late telephone plays… With that said, I stop for a couple of weeks and he goes on a 12 and one Marquee run… &?$#&!MF’r...So I find out about this I called him last night and I get north Carolina state at +2 and Ov 46.5 Texans/Colts game... I come back and 0-2… Just my freaking luck… With that said here’s tonight’s Marquis.

Sorry for your bad luck, ACP-unfortunately I and I am just about everyone else has gone through similar shit like that in different kinds of financial

matters of all sorts including gambling.

Thanks for the Marquee.

Here is recap of the comp. line message for ext. 9 only as ext 3 is unchanged from yesterday.

Just a few things of note:

Up until today the cost of the TOM and Saturday sides only was $125 for a non PS subscriber.

Today for another $50 you can get the Sunday NFL.

I would bet that tomorrow Todd will tell you can the rest of the totals for another $29 or $39 and of course the Monday

Night Magic Play for $20.

And to be fair there are some of those red hot Marquees tossed in for free.

Also this might sound trivial but it is also telling re: the way NC distorts its records and chooses ONLY the time frames which serve them well.

Rather than tell us that the NFL simply went 2-2 last Sunday, they decided to enhance/distort- it a bit by stating that they went 4-2-1 over the last two

Sundays.

Sounds real good right-67% for two weekends.

Hmm-but wait though-for the three Sundays prior to that they went 0-9-1 or 0%-not "quite as good." lol

It goes without saying that for Phil Steele/NC those weekends don't count and shouldn't be mentioned.

I assure you that if NC had gone 9-0-1 over those three weeks and then had an 0-2-1 weekend followed by the 2-2 weekend,

all you would hear is that NC is 11-4-2 over the last five weeks.

In short, as I have said before its Heads NC wins and clients lose and Tails NC wins again and clients lose -in short fuck everyone

except Phil Steele/NC.

THE BIG TWELVE COMP. OF THE WEEK IS NEBRASKA - 5.

I decided to kill some time (or is torture myself) by listening to the "Weekly Tour Picks"(just curious where is the "tour" taking place this

particular week and are tickets still available? lol) and listened as Phil became orgasmic in the very first game under review, the Drake and Davidson game,

you know the game which will "decide" the National Championship, as he found huge edge in this game.

Inasmuch as I dozed off near the end, I can't recall which team he picked to win/cover.

Just for curiosity sake I wanted to knowt the next game under review was and lo and behold believe it or not, it was an even more riveting

and important game than the first game-the Cornell Columbia Game.

I decided I was going to try to listen to his analysis and assessment, but sadly I got a knock on my door from the trash and garbage

collector informing me that I had forgotten to leave them outside on the curb.

Well I did that and then decided that I had some other "slightly" more important and relevant things to do than to go back

and resume listening to his "captivating analysis "of the "Game of the Century."

There is on last one I forgot to include in post 589.

I wonder if it is true that presently or in the past Phil Steele actually requires/required an employee to punch out on the clock when he/she needed to use the

restroom.

Last year at CM this was alleged to be true by the NC documented insider who visited the thread at times, and would not be all

that surprising as Steele is known to be one tight/cheap SOB.

not sure if nc is aware but nebraska just moved to the big 10 - about 10 years ago.

Actually that is my error.

On Friday NC gives out EITHER the Big TEN Play of the Week OR the Big Twelve Play of the Week,

I played the message back again and Todd did say at the beginning and when he gave the play out that this week it is the Big Ten Play

of the Week.

Sadly unlike Phil Steele I am not perfect and make errors sometimes.

Thanks for pointing that out though.

rush__man-actually inasmuch as Phil Steele spends 24/7/365 thinking about this stuff(counting dreams where nothing changes), I would be shocked

if he made an error like that.

Imo it would be more likely that he would forget to eat for about a week because he is so involved with every last detail when it comes to

gambling on football.
