For the record it was noted a little while ago by the Sports Monitor that NC had a two star rated play on Seattle and a Marquee

on the OVER.

Good morning-it is weekly and cumulative recap time.

Before that, a few words are in order.

This was the best week of the season for NC edging out the previous best week ending on 9/16.

What is really interesting is that both this week and in September they had these very nice winning weeks in spite of losing a GOM.

They obviously need to continue the winning of this week and last week to continue to cut into the shrinking yearly and three and a half year plus deficit

for all of tis to have any meaning.

Without further ado, here you go with the recaps:

Recaps for Week Eleven:

College sides and totals 8-3 with 11.7 units GAINED.

Pros 3-0-1 with 8.5 units WON.

Overall for the week 20.2 units were GAINED or $2,020 at $100 a unit.

The cheapest cost of service for a non PS subscriber of the several mentioned to get all of the Late Phone Plays

was $285.

Thus factoring the cost, it is seen that 17.35 units were GAINED or $1,735 at $100 a unit.

Cumulative:

College 62-48-1 with 21.4 units WON.

Pro 18-21-2 with 16.2 units LOST.

Overall 5.2 units have been WON or PLUS $520 at $100 a unit.

The total cost of service so far is 2.433 units or $2,433.

Thus adding in the cost, it is seen that so far the non PS subscriber is MINUS 19.13 units or MINUS $1,913 at $100 a unit.

Overall including last week over the last three and a half years, anyone who has played the Late Phones

according to scale and factoring in the cost of service, is still DOWN A DOCUMENTED MINUS $17,029.

A few more notes:

This marked the fourth winning week out of eleven so far.

Also the overall winning percentage when one figures up all of the Late Phone Plays given out for the entire season is an ok but not great 53.7%(80/149)

The theoretical break even percentage is 52.35, which as you can see by the still remaining deficit is higher when the cost of service is included.

The bottom line is that if NC has another excellent week like last week, they could get in range of or even surpass the break even point for

the season.

Back after the comp. message.

Well the comp. message is out.

Before summarizing that, a few things I forgot to include in previous post.

The college sides have led the charge during the last few weeks.

I don't know whether this is a temporary thing or an actual change of leadership so to speak because historically over the last 3 1/2 years

when I started doing this, the college sides have been the laggards so to speak with the college totals doing much better and the NFL also

doing reasonably well.

Anyway on ext. 9 we get a recap for last night with the 2-0 sweep.

We are told that the Monday Night Magic plays are 7-3 so far but are not told how the Monday Night Marquees have done-how come? Lifeline please! lol

THE POWERPLAY COMP. OF THE WEEK IS A FOUR STAR ON KENTUCKY - 8 1.1,

Ext. 9 We hear vintage Phil Steele/NC lies by omission, spin and deception, which are among the big reasons why the aforementioned

have lost a lot of respect.

Consider that NC has gone 11-2 with the college side plays the last week as bragged about by Todd.

Prior to that they were dismal and easily the weakest portion of the Late Phones.

Yet you listen to Todd today and you get the impression that they always have been a winning proposition and

not even a mention of how crappy they have been up until now.

Today's "lunch special" is that these alone will cost $75.

If you want "dessert" thrown in/the college totals, it will cost another $29.

What is telling here and not surprising is that Todd does NOT state how the college totals have done of late, because well

you figure out the rest.

Now here is the important thing to remember:

Unlike the short term only in pitching the college sides, Todd pitches ONLY the longer term but not short term for obvious reasons and states

that they are 27-16 for the season and are 27-12 going back to last season with their TOP plays.

What is not so shockingly missing is the fact that not only have the totals been so so of late but more importantly ZERO mention that the

two TOM ins SEPTEMBER AND OCTOBER BOTH LOST.

Thus Phil Steele/Todd/NC want tot have their cake and eat it too-in short as is always the case, use ONLY the time frames of their record

to make them look a lot better than they really are.

THE EARLY BIRD TOTALS PLAY OF THE WEEK IS OVER KANSAS 65 1/2.

Here we go.

Ext. 9 We find out that NC had a Marquee winner on Eastern michigan last night.

We get the usual Wednesday pump for the Economy Club-not much else.

THE #2 ECONOMY CLUB PLAY OF THE WEEK IS AIR FORCE -10 1/2.

Ext.3 well they decided to have the NFL GOM this week.

Today "dinner special" is that you can get the Saturday college sides(not totals) and all of the NFL including GOM for $175 for a non PS subscriber.

The Saturday totals will add on another $29 and I assume $20 for the Monday Night.

THE UNDERDOG PLAY OF THE WEEK IS WYOMING + 6 1/2.

Correction from previous post-the price should read $150 rather than $175.

Best bets for Week 12 college football games

Every Thursday during the season, Phil Steele will provide his top plays across the college football landscape.
Here are his best bets for the 12th full week of the college football season:

Season ATS records:

Steele: 24-34 (2-3 last week)

Note: Picks from Caesars Sportsbook lines as of Wednesday night.

Saturday's games
GJ6CX81Ryd7NNDVckRQ9YTVcjoIaOLNgRAORS28pYIt0X9ijH1Y5ZkU2Dgj9RIqeYudOeWaeIruyyZRd5Q8ZY9uBonYO-NZw2Yf_ihxThqCWk-Irq3XzzOmdUAcJZDhYwsLkGaOG

No. 19 Texas Longhorns at Iowa State Cyclones (-7)

Steele: Tom Herman is an outstanding 15-3 ATS as an underdog in his head-coaching career, including 11 outright upsets. Texas was banged up on defense this season but has slowly been getting some players back and last week had a 477-304 yardage edge versus Kansas State. Matt Campbell is another excellent underdog coach, but he's just 3-6 ATS in the role of home favorite the past two seasons. Texas has won the past three meetings, both straight up and ATS. Texas has a great shot at the outright win here but should at least stay within a touchdown.
ATS pick: Texas +7

Central Michigan Chippewas at Ball State Cardinals (-2.5)

Steele: Central Michigan is 4-2 in the MAC, with its wins by 26 PPG, but minus-6 in turnovers in its two MAC losses. Tennessee transfer QB Quinten Dormandy has 11 TD passes and just four interceptions, and running backs Jonathan Ward and Kobe Lewis have combined to rush for 1,651 yards, a solid 6.2 yards per carry and 19 TDs, and they face a Ball State defense allowing 5.1 yards per carry in MAC play. Central has a strong rush defense allowing just 118 yards per game rush and 3.4 YPC. Versus three mutual opponents, Central is plus-223 yards per game, and Ball State is minus-45 yards per game. Central has already played at Wisconsin and Miami (Fla.), so it will not be intimidated by this home crowd.
ATS pick: Central Michigan +2.5

No. 1 LSU Tigers (-21, 65) at Ole Miss Rebels

Steele: LSU has finally exorcised the Alabama demon that haunted it through eight straight losses to the Tide. The Tigers deserve to be the No. 1 team in the College Football Playoff rankings, with four wins over foes who were ranked in the top 10 at the time. Joe Burrow has just about wrapped up the Heisman Trophy after going 31-of-39 for 393 yards and three TDs against Alabama. LSU will have no trouble winning here, but this is an obvious letdown spot.
Ole Miss outgained Texas A&M 405-337 in its most recent SEC home game and should bring its A-game here after facing New Mexico State last week and with a bye on deck. The Rebels have the SEC's top rush offense, averaging 258 yards per game and 5.4 YPC in SEC play, which will help shrink the clock and keep this under the three-touchdown spread.
ATS pick: Ole Miss +21

No. 10 Oklahoma Sooners (-10) at No. 13 Baylor Bears

Steele: Oklahoma's defense has started to show some cracks, allowing 48 and 41 points, respectively, the past two games. The Sooners lost on the road to Kansas State and survived a 2-point conversion failure by Iowa State last week to escape with a one-point win. Lincoln Riley is 3-9-1 ATS as an away favorite in the regular season. Baylor has struggled the past two weeks dealing with unbeaten pressure as a favorite, but is an undefeated home underdog like Minnesota was last week to Penn State. Baylor is 8-2 ATS as a home 'dog the past nine years, and Matt Rhule is 19-8 ATS as a 'dog of 7.5 or more points.
ATS pick: Baylor +10

Virginia Tech Hokies (-5.5) at Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Steele: The Hokies were blown out at home against Duke 45-10 to fall to 0-2 in ACC play, and many wondered if they would make a bowl. Virginia Tech has come out with a vengeance since then, going 4-1 SU and ATS, including a win at Miami and a one-point loss at Notre Dame. Hendon Hooker has started three ACC games at QB for the Hokies, and they have averaged 40.3 PPG in those, including 36.3 in regulation. Georgia Tech has gained just 14 and 10 first downs in its two ACC home games and now takes on an inspired Virginia Tech defense that just held Wake Forest to 210 yards below its season average. The Hokies control their destiny in the ACC Coastal and will get a big road win here.
ATS pick: Virginia Tech -5.5

Here we go.

It turns out that NC had a Marquee winner last night on OVER northern Illinois.

It being Thursday, the remainder of the tape ext. 9 was pretty much a pump for the Big Dog Plays.

ANYWAYS THE RON JEREMY BIG DONG/SALAMI/HOG/DICK/DOG COMP. OF THE WEEK IS KANSAS +17 1/2.

On. ext. 3 the message is essentially the same as yesterday with their deceptive/sneaky way of recounting their records over the time frames

they choose, ie short if the record has been good over the last few weeks or longer term if the record has not been good over the shorter term, talk about whichever one makes NC look like the best service out there.

THE NFL TOTALS COMP. OF THE WEEK IS OVER BALTIMORE 50.

ps Two Marquees going tonight for $12 apiece if one wants to buy them separately as opposed to their being included in one

of their packages.

One last thing I forgot to point out last week after the release of the GOY LOSER on Georgia State:

I find it very interesting indeed that while this play was released as a GOY with the Late Phones, it didn't even make the top five selections in PowerSweep, and

in fact was buried with the other selections.

So I guess we are supposed to assume that something happened between the publication of PowerSweep and the release of this play on Saturday that propelled

this play from what can be deemed an also-ran to the most important play of the year.lol

This is just one of many examples I have pointed out over the years and will continue to point out which exemplify the bullshit, conflicts, deceptions, confusion and overall

hypocrisy of Phil Steele and NC, which for me make them one of the sleaziest ad most deceptive sports services out there!!!

Here you go with the writeup from PS:

[FONT=Verdana,Tahoma,Arial,Calibri,Geneva,sans-serif]Georgia St by 7 over ULM - Series is tied 2-2 SU/ATS, but GS has won the L/2 gms despite being a
dog in both. LY GS (+7) jumped out to a 27-7 mid 2Q and never let up in a 46-14 win (487-262). GS is off
a bye & two wks ago thumped Troy at home 52-33 (school record 390 rush yds) while ULM just lost to
Ark St 48-41 (3H LP Winner & 4H Power Sweep Winner on Ark St -1). GS is avg’g 257 rush yds this ssn
(#9 FBS) and against SBC foes are rushing for 321 ypg! Aside from holding TXSt to 92 rush yds, ULM
has all’d over 200 rush yds in every other game and the L/4 gms GS is 4-0 SU/ATS and are avg’g 538
yds & 41 pts incl avg’g 307 rush ypg (5.9 ypc). ULM QB Evans is just the 3rd QB here to throw for 8,000+
yds & here faces a pass D that gave up 421 pass yds to Troy & is #126 in our pass eff D. ULM is just
8-19 ATS dating back to ‘17, while GS is 5-2-1 ATS this ssn. We expect GSt to win a high-scoring affair.

here is an even more interesting note. Remember Ralph Michaels from Cal Sports and was once at NC Sports? Well he had a 4 star play on GA St as well. I find this interesting. I believe it was a nfl Sunday where all of Ralph’s picks were the same as NC. Did NC reach out to RM for plays as they have been struggling all year? Or was this all coincidence. Hmmmm. I guess we will never know. Maybe NC bought RM’s plays or vice versa. Or did they talk to figure out a top play together. Not sure but just worth mentioning. I like RM especially for hoops 4 star and higher.

Crown-all I can say is WOW!!!

From my prespective what you stated for me is akin to a bomshell and thickens the plot as to whose play GA State was and/or whether there was collusiom and/or

Ralphie stole the pick from Phil Steele or the other way around.

Like you said, we will probably never know, but there are a few things to consider here.

First of all yes I do remember Ralph Michaels a number of years ago when he was both a capper at NC and also did the comp. line(imo easily the worst

of the different people who have done this because of lets just say his overall irritating and listener unfriendly voice).

Anyways my contact over there told me that Ralphie left NC under not the greatest terms-that's all I know.

Ok back to the issue.

Personally I find it incredibly hard to believe that both Ralphie and PHil/NC could come up with a large play on this rather obscure game independently.

That said, the insider at NC stated in last year's thread at CM that although Phil Steele may not actually pick all of the games that NC releases,

as the owner of he would NEVER allow a pick especially a big one to be released if he didn't agree with it because of his overall arrogance and sense of infallibility.

As someone who has followed him and NC since they began, I agree with this assessment.

Along the same lines and reasoning, I don' believe that Phil would "pirate" a game from another service and especially from someone who worked

at NC like alphie and who left on questionable terms before going off on his own.

My analogy/comment to this is(and only those who go back aways will get this) this is not a case of the great call of Johnny Most, "Havlicek stole the ball!!!"

or in this case would be "Steele stole the pick?"" lol but rather imo a case of Ralphie "borrowing"/stealing from Phil/NC because of the overall historical fine record of this

GOY pick this year notwithstanding.

Thanks again for providing this thought provoking revelation!

No problem savage. You can follow RM picks on wager talk. They are posted after the game goes off and has the last 20 picks documented. Just something to watch as it comes to the GOY for nfl as well.

Thanks for that, Crown-I will check out the site and will also check the Sports Monitor to see if they are posted there as well.

I may be the exception but I find possible conspiratorial and/or related issues like this fascinating and thought provoking not only with NC/sports services but in many

aspects of life itself.

For those who care, I will be late today with the update for the simple reason that it is my wife's 50th birthday today(a "few" years younger than me), and

among other things, she wants to go shopping with me with the money I gave her as a gift-most of it of course was made playing the NC
Late Phones over the last three and a half years.@)

Sorry for being back late as there is so much to talk about.

I sure hope no one has been inconvenienced.

Anyways only ext. 9 is changed today and what is new today from rest of week is ZERO.

However most importantly what you did miss is the BIG TEN PLAY OF THE WEEK WHICH IS OHIO STATE - 52 1/2.

I could go on but will end here as I am sure you all want to get on this game before it goes even higher.

Oh yeah there is a Marquee going tonight in one of the games.
