Hey look, two white people among the injured. I thought NY said the driver targeted black people?
I was wrong.
Might as well Voice My opinion since there's a lot of Fighting and Name calling EVERY TIME a subject like this comes up.
I Believe Most people in the World would say when you hear the words "Terrorist Attack" they think of 9/11, suicide bombings, Middle East stuff and a few things that have happened here in the US, Paris, the UK, etc. over the years.
So it's possible that people would Not call Today's violence in VA a Terrorist Attack.
I Myself wouldn't "Call" it that, But the Fact is, it was .....
The Definition of the words "Terrorist Attack" doesn't have to be someone that have those Views on Bombings, cutting off heads, etc..
a Terrorist Attack is a surprise attack involving the deliberate use of violence against civilians in the hope of attaining political or religious aims or ideological in nature; this is done through intimidation or coercion or instilling fear. coup de main, surprise attack.
So to ME, you Can call it a Terrorist Attack, or You Don't have to call it that.
because where it Happened ( The Event ) if you want to call it an event. It falls under a Terrorist Attack.
It's just not the Terrorist Attack that we hear about in World News, like when they Bomb something overseas .
That's my 2 1/2 cents
Let's just not attack each other here at the RX.
Thanks
don't think you were. It was a nazi taking out a counter protester. There seems to be a lot of people trying to spin this away, I heard earlier in the day the alt right'ers were trying to pin it on a kid in Michigan and doxxed him to get the glare off them, then it went to somebody reporting it was just some scared marcher who freaked and mowed everybody down, but the police said it was premeditated...there's no spinning it away, the guy is a domestic terrorist and full blown racist if that shit stain Sessions can step up and do his job we can see some justice done.
You don't know this to be true at all. Another guy coming in this thread making assumptions not based on fact.
The police have come out and said it was a premeditated attack, does that sound like somebody freaked out, WHAT DO YOU THINK THAT MEANS????
Witness Chris Mahony said he and a friend, who shot one of the videos, were walking down the street when he saw the gray car on the other side of the street.
"It just sat there, looking down the road," he said. "I thought that's a bit strange. There didn't seem to be any other cars stopping him from going. And then a couple moments we heard a car going incredibly fast down the road and then it plowed into the crowd."
just going off what the chief of police and the people that saw it are saying.
And the police are saying the kid is saying he was attacked and scared and accelerated into the crowd without pre-medication.
You're sticking with a terrorist attack still?
Well he did a pretty good job going in reverse after the Crash, he had a Clean path for blocks behind him.
Where were the people chasing him ??
If you're asking me then you have doubt. That's all I'm saying. We don't know what happened and sometimes things don't happen the way we initially thought they did.
Pretty reckless to call it terrorism when you don't know right?
Can you provide a link or a tweet that shows the police or police chief said it was premeditated?
Please see post #84 in this thread.
The police chief said it during the press conference after McAullife and the Mayor spoke
Charlottesville Police Chief Al Thomas called the incident "premeditated violence" and said it "is being treated as a criminal homicide investigation." Cellphone video from witnesses showed the vehicle, a gray Dodge Challenger, driving at high speed into a narrow street crowded with protesters opposing the white nationalists who flooded Charlottesville for one of the movement's largest rallies in years.

And now the backtracking begins.
Just keeping giving ground until you find a tiny piece of ground to defend.
