Yep , not looking bad 6:3 first set and 3 : 0 up in the second .
Wish you a profitable season bud .
Looking very close at Zverev vs Spadea match . For me it is Misha who should take this. He finished strong last season with a tournament win beating Canas and Tursunov . Guy is only 20 years old and keeps improving with every match . Around 1.80 price looks good to me but will decide later if I am gonna place a bet on this match .

Calleri comes through!

Yeah, I was also looking at Zverev. He's in great form. I reckon the odds are about right though. Vinny is a decent counter-puncher and he's got a good record against the lefties.

Paszek did not impress me in the previous round . She had problems with her serve and if she plays the same today Maria should be able to beat her .

My pick is Shahar Peer 2.05 at 5dimes 10 units !

This is in no way chasing the loss from the previous bet as I still wanted to place this bet with high stakes .

Safina had two tough matches already both going to 3 sets and she plays in the doubles competition . Peer won 6-0 first set in the last round and then her opponent retired which makes for much less time on the court .
In their last meeting Shahar was a point away from defeating Safina like 6-4 6-2 and then rain came changing everything with Safina coming back in the second set and winning the TB .
I think its finally time for Shahar to win one against Dinara .

I am most likely gonna play Zverev over Spadea too not depending on the outcome of this match .

never in DOUBT to give me a HEART ATTACK , I almost collapsed during the last 15 minutes of the match , first Safina has 3 MPs and then Shahar gets 5 points in a row to break her and then this nasty tiebreak , what a match , def nothing to bet on ! Last time I bet on Shahar LOL

Mischa Zverev (GER) Vincent Spadea (USA)

My pick is Mischa Zverev -124 at pinnaclesports 6.20 units

I circled this game to bet once I saw it on schedule . Players going different directions here , Zverev 20 years old talented player improving every match he plays and his opponent Vincent Spadea 33 years old most likely playing one of his last seasons on the main tour .

Found a good preview on another site , this is not my own write up .

Written by Andrei

Zverev, a 20 year old german is coming from a very good year, winning 3 challengers on 3 different surfaces: I.hard, hard and clay. At ATP level he did not do much, as his best performances : 2nd round at AO after going through quallies and QF at Newport. Nevertheless he beat some good players on rapid surfaces as Tursunov, Canas and Becker were his last 3 victims. In the first round he easily beat Florian Mayer. Zverev's weapon is his serve and that's what makes his game more suited to hard. He rushes to the net when he has the chance and tries to end the point. And this style of play may help him on hard. On the other side, Spadea is not getting any younger, he is 34 now and he is getting rusty. He beat Grosjean here in a match that lasted almost 2 hours and had 11 breaks (7-Spadea). Vinny had only 67% 1st serve points won, compared to Zverev who had 90% in his match with Mayer (Mischa did not face a break point that match). Spadea posseses a good game from the back of the court but his serve is not as good as the german's. I think that Zverev will have a lot of chances to break his opponent and he'll win here easily than the odds show it. Mischa has one more advantage as he is a lefty and Vincent's last 3 matches against lefties were all lost.

PS : Very strong lean on Stanislas Wawrinka versus Agustin Calleri . Going to bed now and will post tomorrow if I am actually gonna play this pick .

Stanislas Wawrinka (SUI) Agustin Calleri (ARG)

My pick is Stanislas Wawrinka - 124 at pinnaclesports 12.4 units

My largest bet of the season so far . Now I have see both of them play this season and Wawrinka impressed me a lot . This guy got even better than he was at the end of the last season . If Calleri doesnt serve bunch of aces which I dont see happening he wont beat Wawa .

Head to head is 2-0 for Stanislas .

Will try a doubles match once again .

Qatar Open 2008 Doubles

Start time : 11:00AM (EST)

P. Kohlschreiber/D. Skoch vs C. Kas/R. Wassen

My pick is C. Kas/R. Wassen 1.80 at betandwin 5 units

P.Kohlschreiber <TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 width=230 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD>Doubles Record:

R. Wassen

As you can they have pretty similar stats however I think Wassen and Kas are better doubles player than their actual record . Both teams with good performance in the previous round advancing as big underdogs . I think Skoch is the worst player out of the 4 on the court and Kas with Wassen should be able to take advantage of it .

He has to win with 2 games difference for you to cash this bet . He is 3 games ahead now after winning the first set 6 : 3 . I am not worried as hes simply much better than his opponent . Wish I didnt waste my money betting on a match with two mugs Zverev and Spadea . Good luck to you .

ASB Classic. Auckland, New Zealand

Start time : 6:00PM (EST)

Lindsay Davenport vs Tamira Paszek ( Total games )

My pick is Over 19.5 games +104 at pinnaclesports 2.5 units/ -110 at 5dimes 3.3 units because of the limits

Tamira played well in this tournament so far , today it is going to be a very tough for her to advance but I see her atleast keeping it close . Would be nice to have one 7:6 or 7:5 set , 3 setter would do too of course .
