Murray also failed to drop a set in either of those matches and broke Davydenko on eight occasions in those two matches. Murray looked extremely strong on serve yesterday against Johansson and didn't face any break points, the same could not be said of Davydenko, who dropped serve on three occsions against countrymen Tursunov. With both players extremely good returners and strong off the ground, holding serve is going to be key and the Brit looks the stronger in that department.</TD></TR><TR><TD class="font14b lightBlue" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid; HEIGHT: 5px"><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class="font14b lightBlue" style="BORDER-RIGHT: #3972b9 0px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid"><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class="font14b verylightBlue" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid" width=5><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class="font14b verylightBlue" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid" colSpan=10></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

My leans :

Malisse to beat Youzhny

Cilic to beat Haase

Here is a good preview I found about this match ( this is not my own write up )

Both players will be hoping to dominate on serve. They have played twice before Haase winning at junior Wibledon 2005 by the odd set and Cilic winning in straights in a futures event in 2006. There is little doubt that Cilic has the talent to climb the rankings and has a very good serve as a starting base, he can however be a little erratic with his big groundstrokes but if he manages to gain some consistency in that department he should find himself inside the top 50 pretty rapidly. Haase is heavily dependant on serve and isn't the greatest of movers when it comes to a sustained rally. Cilic gets a narrow vote on this occasion.

Malisse vs Youzhny is a no bet match for me . Youzhny looked very bad in the previous round while Malisse did really well in his matches however I cant trust him either as hes back from an injury which didnt let him play whole last year .

Cilic should be able to beat Haase however I cant trust neither of them so deep in a tournament .

I will skip these matches and bet on a doubles match instead . Tail this one at your own risk tho as I am 0-2 with 2 vs 2 matches this season :ohno:

4 January

Qatar Open 2008 Doubles

Start time : 10:45AM (EST)

J.Coetzee/W.Moodie vs P.Kohlschreiber/D.Skoch

My pick is J.Coetzee/W.Moodie -190 at dimes 4.75 units to win 2.50 units ( most I could bet there because of the 250 $ win limit set )

See a huge advantage here for Moodie and Coetzee . This is finals already and they wont be messing around . Kohlschreiber has been the key to their wins so far and this is no wonder because he is clearly the better player in this team . Skoch will have lot of trouble against opponents like that and I dont see Kohlschreiber being able to carry them once again .
