I think Jelena will have way too much for the young french girl tomorrow , Jankovic is the defending champion and has a great chance to defend her title and points . Cornet profited from Serena withdraw just like Jelena by Sharapova not showing up today in the 1/2 finals . Today Cornet had a very tough battle with Chackvedatze who couldnt hold on a set and 3-0 lead to lose this match in 3 sets but I dont think Jankovic will make so many errors .
Odds on the rise so I will just take those today because I cant see them going down .

Line on Jankovic dropped from 1.33 to 1.27 @ BF,have janko in parlay for today along with soccer and basketball match,won't lay that much on single game with that kind of return.Janko beat Cornet last year in 3 sets,since then Cornet improved and climbed up the ladder as can be seen too from WTA #96 to #34,nice progress with in a year or so,Cornet favorite surface is clay and she seems hot as she will climb up the ladder further with recent wins over Kuznetsova and Chakvetadze,some think that in a year or so and extra hard work as Alize has done so far she will be the new Henin in 2 years or so,i think she might give Jelena a fight today,but Jelena seems motivated enough to get her 1st title this season defending it as well from last year and is rested as well as playing well in Rome so far.GL

Yep , gl . This and Eschauer v Gimeno Travers match are public plays today . People say Gimeno is very likely to tank and go to France for RG qual , not sure if its the case . Eschauer opened at around 2.25 and is 1.70 fav now LOL

Yep rhino , we got sucked into this one , wasnt even Coria playing well just the guy is that terrible . Atleast Younes won a nice one even tho he looked really bad in the deciding set , glad he had a 4-0 lead which almost wasnt enough when he started making tons of DFs and unforced errors .

Vakulenko only played 2 matches in the last 7 monthes due to injury . She came back last week to play in Rome only to receive a 6-2 6-1 beating from Razzano who isnt in great shape either . Overall Vakulenko is more suited for faster surface + her injury + lack of play makes me place a bet on her opponent who is a solid player and is at home on clay courts with a strong 122-60 record on the red dirt . Tough matches for Edina recently where she had to face Penneta , Dulko and Radwanska who are atleast few classes above Vakulenko on clay courts , she lost these 3 matches but none without putting up a fight . All in all I think Gallovits should win this if shes in some sort of semi decent form .

Really coin flip with Dokic match IMO but if I had to choose with a gun behind my head I would say maybe Dokic but she played like 10 matches in the last 2 weeks so I am not sure about her anyway questionable fitness .
