STRONG PLAY

Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Acapulco, Mexico

Start time : 4:15PM (EST)

Bruno Echagaray vs Agustin Calleri ( Set betting )

My pick is Agustin Calleri to win 2 : 0 sets

6 units to win 4.02 units at betfair

  • Calleri holds a 13-4 record in this tournament , he won it once and was two times semi-finalist .
  • Agustin holds a very nice record on clay 192-93 with most of his losses to very high level clay courts specialists . In last tournament he beat Monaco and Horna but couldnt convert many opportunities he had against another clay courts specialist from Italia F.Volandri .
  • Echagaray 0-5 in this tournament all 5 times he lost in straight sets
  • He lost his last 3 matches on clay , all in straight sets . His record on clay 35-47 .
Recommend this play . :103631605

Abierto Mexicano Telcel Doubles

O.Hernandez/S.Roitman vs A.Montanes/M.Vassallo Arguello

My pick is A.Montanes/M.Vassallo Arguello to win

Odds : 2.15

3.4 units to win 3.6 units at 5dimes

Montanes already beat this team last week but with a different partner . Albert Montanes plays very good lately with strong serving . I remember checking their match stats and Montanes with his partner had very high % of win points on their serve even on the second one . Hernandez and Roitman join doubles as they are always in singles competition but they rarely pass the first round in their doubles matches .

Preview by thedestroyer9

Both players are more at home on the challenger circuits, but more to their liking is the surface. Both play a traditional claycourt game, but Ventura has done it with a little more success in the past but since upping his appearances on the ATP is finding the going a little tougher. The Italian, in the latter half of 07, won one title and made the final in two others to go along with his 4 quarter final and 1 other semi final appearance. He lost narrowly to Tipsarevic in Doha, and has pushed Moya (Costa de Saupo) and Chela (Beunous Airies) to 3 sets in his last 2 first round losses. Ramirez credentials are nowhere near as good, being outclassed in home challenger tournaments and losing to Canada in Davis Cup action. Ventura in 2 looks a dead set certainty.

Good luck bro. Took the under 21.5 as Ventura should win this.

He is seriously pissing me off with his unforced errors. Ramirez does not look comfortable at all but Ventura isn't smart enough to capitalise. Just needs to keep the ball in play.

GL man. I'd say it's about 99.5% Ventura wins. This kid has been absolutely terrible.
