27 February

Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships. Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Start time : 06:30 AM - PST

Elena Dementieva vs Alona Bondarenko ( Handicap )

My pick is Alona Bondarenko + 5 games

5.6 units to win 5 units -112 at pinnaclesports

That is very big line we are getting here , it is not like Alona cant play tennis and Elena doesnt have Ivo Karlovic serve . Lets not get carried away by 6:0 in the second set for Dementieva against Schnyder . Patty gave up after the first break in the second set , Alona put up a fight against Maria Kirilenko and it looked like shes getting back in some sort of decent form .

Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Acapulco, Mexico

Start time : 5:15PM (EST)

Sorana Cirstea vs Olivia Sanchez ( Handicap )

My pick is Olivia Sanchez + 3 games

5 units to win 4.25 units at gamebookers

Hope I am not wrong in this spot . I think Sanchez will win this match but will take the safer option . Cirstea had a tough battle yesterday 5-7 7-5 7-6(2) and I am not sure how much gas she has left for this match today . There were 18 breaks in this match , 9 for each player while Sanchez picked up a quick and easy victory over Martina Muller from Germany . Head to head between them is tied at 1 : 1 but like I said I think Cirstea will struggle today .

Florent Serra vs Radek Stepanek ( Set betting )

My pick is Radek Stepanek to win 2:0 sets

6 units to win 4.2 units at betfair

Radek Sexyneck is in great form and Serra should have no real chance if Radek brings his A game .

do it on the majors only, when the old rules are enforced, OR on Fridays during semi's if singles players are playing (BOTH, with fatigue an obvious issue)

step is up for doubles later today...i already faded him at -105...now at -130

awesome day ... 0-4 ...

Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Acapulco, Mexico

Start time : 5:15PM (EST)

Marcel Granollers-Pujol vs Albert Montanes

My pick is Albert Montanes to win

28 units to win 20 units -140 at pinnaclesports

If this one goes wrong I can as well only bet on semis and finals . Stepanek was dead today . Cilic no chance at all against another clown .

I wasnt surprised that Montanes beat heavy fav Igor Andreev in the previous round . Albert played well in all his recent matches , already last tournament he had to play against Andreev and came short in the last set . His opponent is young and doesnt have the experience not to speak about stepping up against tougher competition today against Albert Montanes .

No more heavy betting on favs from tomorrow on . Will update my record and start betting on underdogs too.

Gilles Muller vs Andy Roddick ( Set betting )

My pick is Andy Roddick to win 2 : 0 sets

10 units to win 4.3 units at betfair

My last bet for today , man if Roddick cant beat this clown in straight sets then there is no reason to bet on this sport for me .

Horna won the first set but only 7:6 so still anything can happen .

Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Acapulco, Mexico

Start time : 9:30PM (EST)

Carlos Moya vs Nicolas Massu ( Handicap )

My pick is Nicolas Massu + 3.5 games

11 units to win 10 units at gamebookers + pinnaclesports

Like this one . Moya broken multipl. times in his match against Eschauer and Massu played well in the first round . 5dimes has + 4 games but I dont like their -135 juice .

after like 0-6 for the day I managed to get 3-0 in the late night matches with both + handicaps winning in straight sets .

28 February

Barclays Dubai Tennis Championships. Dubai, United Arab Emirates

Start time : 5:00AM (EST)

Amelie Mauresmo vs Svetlana Kuznetsova

My pick is Svetlana Kuznetsova to win

24 units to win 10 units at pinnaclesports

Really cant stop myself from making this play . Kuzzy totally destroyed Safarova yesterday , winning 90 + % on her first serve is plain sick . Mauresmo on the other hand struggled a lot against Morigami and she will never be as good as she used to be . Svetlana beat Mauresmo in their last 3 meetings all in straight sets ( 6-4 6-0 last match ) . Given their recent performance I cant see Mauresmo take anything from this match . Motivation shouldnt be the key here as there is a lot of money to be won in this tournament so I wont have to worry like this clown tournaments on clay .

I aint betting on WTA again , promised to myself yesteday . This aint tennis dumb ho*s

Haha, O well, I'll follow you on this play, hope this dumb broad doesn't screw us. Also what u think of Chakvetadze vs Jankovic? Chakve is 6-2 vs her, but there seems to be a lot of action on Janko.

I wont bet on doubles anymore, trying to update my stats at the moment . Gonna start betting on WTA again as there are many mugs as in men tennis just gotta pick the right spots . I would be damned to bet on Jankovic vs Chacky match , no way I am getting into this one ! With a gun to my head I would say Chackvetadze tho .

2 Match parlay

Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Acapulco, Mexico ATP

Start time : 5:30PM (EST)

Marcel Granollers-Pujol vs Jose Acasuso

My pick is Jose Acasuso to win

+

Abierto Mexicano Telcel. Acapulco, Mexico WTA

Start time : 4:00PM (EST)

Edina Gallovits vs Flavia Pennetta

My pick is Flavia Pennetta to win

Odds : 1.70

10 units to win 7 units at betfair + 5dimes

  • Pujol didnt impress me with his win over Montanes who played like he wasnt motivated at all , maybe it is because he is good friends with Marcel Pujol . Pujol is in his 5th match here already going against a better clay court player . I think Chucho will be too much here for the young spaniard .

  • Flavia Pennetta made it to the finals here 4 years in a row every year since 2004 holding an amazing 21-4 record in this tournament . She is playing very solid , already winning a tournament this year without dropping a set . Edina is a solid competitor but she doesnt have the same quality . She holds a very good record on clay courts but almost all her wins come from ITF tournaments against much weaker fields than we have in WTA .
Cant find a decent line for straight sets win otherwise I think it would be a good bet too .

FIRST UNDERDOG PICK

Regions Morgan Keegan Championships. Memphis, TN, USA

Start time : 8:45PM (EST)

Radek Stepanek vs Chris Guccione

My pick is Chris Guccione to win

Head to head 1 : 0 for Chris Guccione , match played this year .

  • Stepanek had problems with his shoulder in the previous round where he managed to come back from a break down in the 3rd set to take the win . He got to the finals last week where he lost to Andy Roddick in 2 easy straight sets victory for the american .
  • Guccione lost in a much close one to Andy Roddick in the same tournament last week where that match had to be decided in the third set tiebreak .
  • Chris Guccione has a massive serve , same category as Ivo Karlovic , maybe even better . He beat T.Johansson in the previous round where he didnt drop a single point on his first delivery ( 26/26 ) !!!
  • Stepanek had a terrible % on his second serve against Serra and if he didndt solve the problem with his shoulder he wont win a set today against a serve beast like Guccione .

Prediction : Stepanek to retire during the match . Big tournament next week in Dubai and I think he would rather play in it instead of trying to beat Guccione having an injury just to lose against Roddick or Soderling in the semis . Bet placed at betandwin - 1 Ball bookie . One point has to be played for all bets to stand just in case Radek retires in the first set .

Jill Craybas vs Alize Cornet

My pick is Alize Cornet to win

10 units to win 5 units at betfair

Craybas is 33 years old without great results in her career against a very talented 18 years old from France who can play on any surface and holds a very nice 37-13 record in her last 50 matches on clay courts and a 8-1 record in this tournament with only one loss last year to 4 times finalist Flavia Pennetta .
I can see a straight sets win for Alize here but will take the safer option.
