- Stepanek had problems with his shoulder in the previous round where he managed to come back from a break down in the 3rd set to take the win . He got to the finals last week where he lost to Andy Roddick in 2 easy straight sets victory for the american .
- Guccione lost in a much close one to Andy Roddick in the same tournament last week where that match had to be decided in the third set tiebreak .
- Chris Guccione has a massive serve , same category as Ivo Karlovic , maybe even better . He beat T.Johansson in the previous round where he didnt drop a single point on his first delivery ( 26/26 ) !!!
- Stepanek had a terrible % on his second serve against Serra and if he didndt solve the problem with his shoulder he wont win a set today against a serve beast like Guccione .
Prediction : Stepanek to retire during the match . Big tournament next week in Dubai and I think he would rather play in it instead of trying to beat Guccione having an injury just to lose against Roddick or Soderling in the semis . Bet placed at betandwin - 1 Ball bookie . One point has to be played for all bets to stand just in case Radek retires in the first set .
