Gilles Simon Robin Soderling

My pick is Robin Soderling to win

42 units to win 20 units at pinnaclesports + betfair

Been watching Robin play this tournament and I must say its great for tennis to have him back . Very strong serve and an aggressive style of play on fast surface . He is a well rounded player and doesnt have many weak spots in his game makes him a dangerous opponent against anybody .
Robin Soderling has a great indoors record of 37-13 in his last 50 matches.
He had a tough match with Baghdatis in the first round but in the next two matches he absolutely trashed his opponents : Verdasco and Seppi couldnt deal with very accurate and well placed serve of Soderling plus the confidence in his shots and only very few errors forced his opponents to fold .
Simon really surprised me getting so deep in this tournament but lets have a closer look at his opponents: he beat F.Lopez who is 1-6 in his last matches and totally out of form . In the next round he beat Tipsarevic in two tiebreaks but it could easily go the other way and not in tiebreaks because serbian was leading in many spots but wasnt able to hold on the lead . Tipsarevic himself has been sick for around two weeks and one can only guess what would of happen if he was 100 % healthy and in form he played Federer at the Australian Open . Gabashvilli was Simons last victim here but you cant really tell a lot about the russian other than this guy is a total mess . He can play very well with strong serving and beat guys like F.Gonzalez in a Grand Slam but he can also lose to players ranked in the 300s .

I cant see Simon having many opportunities to break Soderling in their match but the other way around Robin should get his chances on Simons serve who isnt as solid on his serve as the player from Sweden .

Very risky IMO , I will probably be backing either Acasuso or Llodra with plus handicap . Really like Soderling and watch this guy play every time I can but Llodra is very hot this season in both singles and doubles . Nalbandian cant be trusted either , he serve very well today but he can play well one day and fold the next one . Sharapova should most likely take it in 2 sets but I think commentators said today that her record against Mad Vera is like 4-3 .

Llodra has given an exhibition of how to serve effectively and close the net off this week , turning over Sluiter, Davydenko, Haase and Karlovic. Showing a top quality serve-volley game can be effective against a number of different styles. Soderling has been equally impressive against Baghdatis, Verdasco, Seppi and Simon. Soderling has the slightly heavier delivery but Llodra's is at least as effective, with the ability to take opponents very wide. Soderling has the bigger and more penetrating groundstrokes. Llodra will be looking to keep the points short, while Soderling will fancy his chances the longer a point takes to reach its conclusion. I can't see too many service breaks but Soderling is the more likely to make a break through and gets a narrow vote to take the title.</TD></TR><TR><TD class="font14b lightBlue" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid; HEIGHT: 5px"><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class="font14b lightBlue" style="BORDER-RIGHT: #3972b9 0px solid; BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid"><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class="font14b verylightBlue" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid" width=5><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD><TD class="font14b verylightBlue" style="BORDER-BOTTOM: #3972b9 1px solid" colSpan=10><TABLE cellSpacing=0 cellPadding=0 border=0><TBODY><TR><TD height=5></TD><TR></TR></TBODY></TABLE></TD></TR></TBODY></TABLE>

Llodra is a very tricky opponent for almost anybody . I am not sure if Soderling will be able to break him , tiebreak very likely to happen .

Bed time now for me . Good night guys .

Seriously everybody in this parlay is a class above their opponents atleast . Would need a huge upset in one of the matches for this to go wrong .

Well after Koubek lost 2:6 first set and break down in the third he decided to play , won second set with an easy tiebreak and third set the guy folded 0:6 , too bad for my 2:0 sets bet but atleast parlay is alive.

Regions Morgan Keegan Championships. Memphis, TN, USA

Start time : 1:45PM (EST)

Mashona Washington vs Olga Govortsova ( Set betting )

My pick is Olga Govortsova to win 2:0

6 units to win 3.24 units at betfair

Mashona 31 years old already without any win in ages not to speak against a solid player like Govortsova who is 19 years old and very talented . Cant see this match being close 2:0 sets should be no problem at all for Olga .
