youzhny at 2.7, 1 unit - he's been playing very poorly recently, especially on the serve. he's still a quality player and can be a threat on a good day. that's a fair price, as im sure he'll be looking for a win or two before the season ends after the disappointing few weeks. he's made the quarters here last year and likes to play indoors.
on the other hand, kohli had a much better end of the season so far and he's the clear favorite here. he's been playing a lot of tennis and he could be tired at this point. he's also choked away some major points recently(wawrinka, andreev, etc).

stepanek at 1.5, 4 units - gicuqel just isnt convincing enough on fast surfaces, especially indoors. he did go 3 sets against tsonga, but that's not enough imo. he's had a terrible run recently, winning only 3 matches in almost 3 months. he's never done well in paris.
stepanek is 13-4 lifetime in paris and obviously likes to play on indoor carpet. his game is well suited to that surface and he shouldn't lose this. especially after the disappointment against darcis.

tursunov at 5.75, 0.5 unit - worth a shot provided he's arm is healed which looked to be the case in his first match against mannarino. from what ive seen, djok was pretty poor in madrid. if tursunov can bring his a game, he's got a fighting chance. otherwise it should be an easy win for djokovic

ouanna at 6.1, 0.5 unit - quite impressive last week, could give soderling some trouble here. ouanna should have a lot of motivation in front of his home crowd and soderling needs to step up and continue his good form from lyon. otherwise the swede can be very shaky even against mediocre players

thanks
looking at the other matches, monfils at 1.32 looks like a gift against monaco. and ancic at 3.7 has some potential for an upset against del potro provided he's healthy

kiefer over nalbandian - more of a speculation, at 3.5 ive a future on nalbandian to win, but kiefer's a tough opponent and could give nalby some trouble here.

blake over bolelli - bolelli's form been very good lately, had a few solid wins. blake is more rested as he hasnt play as much and has a lot more experience at big events. provided he comes up focused and motivated, he should pull thru here

andreev over simon - andreev much more aggressive of the two in their last meeting. had 3 match points and just couldnt close but was clearly the better player especially given his attacking style on indoor courts.

to simon's credit, hes a lot more consistent than andreev and tougher mentally. as long as the russian will keep simon under pressure especially on the return, he'll do well. odds should be somewhere around 2.2, anything beyond that is good value. below that, id stay away

cilic over granollers - granollers is out of his depth here, there's only one way this match can go with the way cilic dominates play on indoor courts. granollers is not a bad tennis player, even on hard, but this is as close to sure as one can get in tennis these days.

berdych over wawrinka - berdych very experienced here in paris, having won the event before. his game is perfectly suited for indoor play and given his recent form its tough to oppose him here. add to that the mediocre form of wawrinka, and 1.52 is not such a bad price provided berdych plays up to his standard

nadal over serra and murray over querrey - just add ons to parlays, no real need to write these out. dont expect any surprises here

tomorrows plays

djokovic+federer at 1.48, 5 units can't really seriously consider backing tsonga after todays match against stepanek. its true that he can play amazing tennis as we've seen at the aussie but thats been rather far and in between.

should he come out tomorrow and play like he did in january, sure, he does have a shot, but anything less than that and djokovic eat him up at the baseline. tsonga desperately needs to reduce the amount of simple errors and perhaps tone it down a notch when it comes to going for impossible shots. sure it looks good once in a while, but what about other 4-5 times he tried it before? more consistency, less showmanship, and tsonga can remain at the top for a long time. this time, its djokovic who should have no problem here though

roddick+federer at 1.82, 6 units very impressive match against lopez. not only did roddick serve very well, which is to be expected, but controlled most of the rallies too. he'll most definitely do a better job at putting simon under pressure than what andreev did today.

roddick is much more aggressive on the return these days especially indoors, simply because he's got the ability to rely on his serve. that allows him to hold relatively easily and focus on pressuring his opponents' serve. it also puts a mental dent on his opponents, who realize they absolutely must hold serve otherwise their out of the set.

big play on roddick

berdych+federer at 1.82, 3 units this is berdych's time and place to exact revenge on davydenko. the russian has been out of form for a while now, with very mediocre matches against ginepri, safin, etc.

berdych on the other hand thrives on fast surfaces and has an outstanding record here in paris. smart money on berdych here, even as he is the favorite in the match

roddick+djok+fed at 2.5, 1 unit

monfils over nadal at 5.0, 1 unit

del potro+fed+murray at 1.92, 4 units

this more of a hedge on the nalbandian future than anything. del potro playing really well and it could definitely go either way tomorrow. should be a great match to watch
