That's cool. I have to give it up to you, Lou. At the very least, you've put it out there and opened yourself up to some criticism if it doesn't look good. I don't normally advocate piling onto someone for a bad pick, but I think you will agree with me when I tell you that a 12,000 view thread with 11 pages of posts is an entirely different animal. The vultures have already started to circle.

Nothing can stop you when you believe in yourself and what your doing.

As I stated before, look out for the upsets in the post-season. There are going to be some shocked fans and media when some big time teams start falling by the wayside in the playoffs. We are in for a wild ride. Buckle up.

I will let you all know shortly after next week's games have concluded if it's going to be Denver or Tennessee.

No need to wait....it's obviously Denver.

#1 rushing offense and the #4 overall D.....

Major props to Lou for sniffing out the SB winner when everyone else was too busy blowing KC,Philly.STL,NE, etc.

Yes I agree somewhat with you DeNiro on Baltimore. They had a dominant Def. that scored for the Off which couldn't or struggle to. But Denver Def. is not that bad, plus the off can score a hell of alot of points and this may make up for the Def. Also , they have a QB that can run. To me that is a wild card and a plus for any team to have, especially in the NFL.

Really the only games Denver has lost with Plummer healthy was Chicago and Kansas City......both flukey losses. But of course the team could also be Tennessee.

I was one of the first people to give Lou shit for starting this thread (see first page). At that time I was certain that "the system" would kick out the two or three faves to win the superbowl (i.e. New England and/or St. Louis). Quite frankly, I didn't believe there even was a system since there was (and still has not been) no criteria posted.

However, I am glad to see that right now only Denver and Tennessee are the choices, makes me believe there is indeed a system in place. And Lou, if you are correct, you will be receiving MAJOR PROPS.

With that I'll say no way Denver wins the superbowl. They will not win three games on the road, two of which to teams they have already lost to (assuming the top seeds win).

Tennessee...This is interesting. The certainly haven't been playing well going down the stretch, but are capable of winning on the road. But if McNair get's hurt, they are done.

Looking forward to seeing which team poops out. Good job, Lou, and sorry for the early bash.

I gave Lou some shit too, and really do hope he picks the winner. I grabbed Den. at 16/1 and Tenn. at 9/1 this AM. Max two unit loss which hopefully I can win back during bowls and playoffs, but hopefully a nice payout. Go Denver.

WC Bias,

"Tennessee...This is interesting. The certainly haven't been playing well going down the stretch, but are capable of winning on the road."

Remember, you want to play your best football in January. Teams that peak in December tend to lose momentum in the playoffs, as a few teams are going to do this year.

Big Lou,
Does a different set of criteria kick in after a team has clinched a playoff spot and will be resting regulars? Or does that matter?

Hi Lou,-I know this is your pick who is going to win the super bowl.Obviously whoever you end up with to win super bowl will also win the AFC - so probably not a bad idea to bet both.My question is because Baltimore is the last team eliminated from the NFC (FROM UR LIST)-would you then pick them to win the NFC and just lose in the superbowl?

Thanks

well, since the titans play well before the ravens, you'll have the superbowl winner posted before the ravens ever take a snap correct???

I mean if the titans meet the "supposed" elements, then they will win the super bowl no matter the outcome of the ravens game and of course, the reverse is also true, that being if the titans do not meet the necessary, the ravens must be the pick.

So looking forward to see you post this before the ravens game or we know that it was a crock from the start. And actually you could post your factual analysis "(upon which you based this entire thread on)",before that game too, as it will be deemed irrelevent by then. Cause if the titans fall by the wayside, then the ravens will have to meet the crtiteria!!!

So we'll all see before the final game or as all the naysayers said earlier, including me, it's a crock system, made up after the fact.

Big Lou,

When the Broncos get bitch-slapped this week and Tennessee does in Gruden's clowns with the Fairy God Mother at QB(Brad "The STIFF" Johnson), will Tennessee be the ONLY team left???
