I didn’t read the whole story because frankly I don’t care that much, but from the little I did, Starbucks didn’t kick them out because they didn’t buy anything. So why are you bringing that argument up? They kicked them out because a customer complained they were making them feel uncomfortable or something.

So I am right faireycarey. There was no policy about this. It was due to the bathrooms and druggies. Which you think is less of a problem than people sitting at a table doing nothing.

Your own fucking article states the old policy was left up to the manager to decide. Lmaooooooo. The policy was never “buy something or get out.”

Because it’s all relative. There never was a policy that you had to buy or leave. The manager had full discretion. It was over bathrooms and drugs. Not people sitting at tables. So the real reason they asked those blacks to leave wasn’t because they didn’t buy anything- it’s because it was the same reason they asked the cops to leave. Because the manager felt uncomfortable. And they didn’t have any drugs on them, they were harassed, so the company is smart enough to change their policy.

With the cops- it’s the same thing as that incident is what I am saying. Besides the blacks got arrested and the cops can’t arrest themselves so they left lol. Duh

And Faireycarrey said no no it’s not.

Well It is. And that’s how it started. So Faireycarry takes another L. I’ll give you a round for my mistake. 2-1 easy work.

Adios girls.

Let me reset this for you, because you have a hard time staying on track.

Case #1:
Two kids come in, don't buy anything, and are loitering in a private establishment. Management asks them to leave (per policy it is at their discretion). Kids don't leave, manager calls cops, kids get arrested.
This is not OK to you because the kids are black.

Case #2:
Cops come in off duty, buy coffee at a coffee shop, and are sitting there not bothering anyone. Literally they are drinking coffee in a coffee shop. Customer complains, the paying customers are asked to leave, and they do.
This is OK to you because...ya know, blue wall of silence and Ferguson and stuff.

In other words, you are a race-baiting piece of shit.
Got it.

Have no idea what previous case you’re talking about. All I know is that from skimming your posts, you were saying Starbucks didn’t have the right to kick the cops out. Just pointing out in my opinion they did

You think case #1 justifies case #2, and it doesn't.
They are two totally different sets of circumstances.
Mainly differentiated by the fact that in case #2 we are talking about paying customers who weren't overtly bothering anyone.

Waiting for their shift to begin. IÂ’m not buying that.

Five officers were drinking coffee at the Starbucks location PRIOR to their shift beginning when a barista asked them to move out of the complaining customer’s line of sight or else leave, the Tempe Officers Association wrote in a series of Twitter messages.

Wow. Seems like you guys are making a big deal out of nothing. They should have been asked to leave. What other regular citizen is allowed to just stand in a group in a place serving coffee just clogging shit up? Get the fuck out of the way. The black people went to go sit down at least they had manners. Cops think they can do whatever they want. YOU CANT. Sorry. If they were off duty, why aren’t they sitting down like normal human beings? You have to stand up and cause a scene in a big group chat? Fuck outta here with that shit. Go take your ass to the vehicle I let you drive and sip your coffee

It should be noted that in Case #1, the police were called when the two loiterers refused to purchase something or leave the tables open for paying patrons, at the manager's request. They refused and were warned if they didn't comply that the police would be called. When the police arrived they tried in vain for several minutes with very civil (too civil) conversation to get those guys to vacate those tables OR face arrest. The culprits STILL refused. OK. Arrest. Dumb, rude, shits. And I don't care what color they were. Any civil person knows the rules in an eating establishment. And if you are too out of it to make it into adulthood without understanding those unwritten rules, listen respectfully and respond respectfully when you are informed.

Those guys deserved to get arrested. Lots of ways they could have avoided that outcome. But nope.

Dude you just said it’s a cafe where people can loiter and chill out without buying anything. Now you’re saying the cops who bought coffee shouldn’t be in there “clogging shit up?” Where does it say they were standing and not sitting? Dumb

They think they can do whatever they want. I’m glad someone told them what was up. Stop clogging up shit just because you’re a cop and you think you can have a little gathering when people are trying to get their coffee. Get the fuck out the way.

The blacks had respect and decency to go sit down and mind their own business. These assholes standing around like they run the place.

They do the same exact shit for stuff that they deem necessary to clog up an entire road over. Causing hazardous situations because they don’t want to park correctly. Anyone else parks like that they get a ticket.

Always hold them accountable. Always remind them they are not better than any member of the public. So don’t think for a second you are special and can do anything that the public isn’t allowed to do. They are beneath them if anything. They work for me. Remember that.

Yeah but according to Mob they were arrested cause they're black, and the cops were NOT arrested cause they can't arrest themselves.
Or something.

“Move out of the customer line of sight or else leave.”

The black kids went to go sit down. The cops think they run the place. Can do whatever they want. Show some respect for the establishment. Take your ass out of the way. It’s just public decency. They don’t have any of that even though they work for the public they don’t have any. It’s factual

Line of sight does not imply they were standing you dumb fuck.
It means the customers could SEE THEM.

If they weren’t sitting down then they were in the way. That simple. Nothing worse than people standing in a circle having a chat taking their fucking precious time when people around them are having to maneuver to do what they need to do. But that’s the police for you. Typical shit.

It didn’t say they were sitting down either fairycarrey. Line of sight could mean they were standing.

If they were sitting down minding their own business that’s a bit different but nowhere it was stated that that was the case.

They clog up mad shit thinking they run shit. That’s how they operate. When in reality, which you are not aware of, they work FOR the public. Dumbfuck. So yes, take your ass the fuck out of the way. If it’s a busy place, which it usually is, have some common courtesy and realize an old lady might want to sit down there- you’re a public official. You are held to higher standards... and they most likely were clogging shit up. That’s how they do

My assumption was that the cops were just sitting. Cops standing in a group in a crowded coffee shop is a sight that would never occur to me
