Tell them bro. This is 2019 now. Not 1975. Cops are being held to a higher standard because they are public officials who get paid from our tax
money. So yes, it is time to hold them accountable, even if it has to be the most mundane things. Because that’s how they start to see their intimidation, blue wall of silence shit is over with. It’s done. People are recording the police- everyone has cameras. And their mindset is going to change from the bottom all the way up to the top of command. This is just the start of it.

When you’re a public official you are held to a higher standard. I don’t care if you think their job is to drive around and wait. To me, that’s not their job. Don’t just sit on your fat ass waiting for a call. Begin your day by doing something for the community. Something for the neighborhood. Go create positive dialogue in the neighborhood you patrol. Go talk to people about civil things. That is how you make change and create a connection.

But instead they have the mindset of leaving Starbucks when their shift starts and sitting in their cars waiting for a call. Go make a positive change in someone’s life man. But I forgot, a lot of these cops were picked on and beat up all their lives growing up, or from racist backgrounds, and they are just out for revenge when they become cops. Ready to take it out on people they’ve never met before.

Instead they sit in their cars talking to their partners in a vacant parking lot. Creating more of a distance between law enforcement and the community.
