SPORTS BOOKS THAT ARE STRUGGLING...

I just finished reading all of the posts regarding V-Wager.
I felt compelled to respond in defense of V-Wager.
I have had a business relationship with MVP Sportsbook for over three years now and have NEVER had a single problem receiving payment from them. When I first started TrackPicks I wanted to go with only one sportsbook advertiser on my site because I have never liked seeing a whole lot of banners on any site. V-Wager was my choice mainly because of Dalton. I saw his long-term business and marketing plan as a well thought out and original idea that would propel V-Wager to the top of the heap of the sportsbook industry. I could not have picked a better company in this industry to partnership TrackPicks with. He has set the business model standard that most new books try to emulate but don't have the capital nor resources to achieve.
In my opinion, V-Wager will be around for a very long time.
Last month I spent probably the best four days of my life in Costa Rica as a guest of V-Wager and their wonderful staff in their first annual golf tournament. I came home after being pampered in such fashion that my wife has refused to allow me to go back. (it will probably really cost me this time) . I can tell you, after spending time with Dalton, Alicia and the rest of the management team, there was absolutely no sign of financial trouble. If anything, they gave me a completely opposite impression that myself and twenty two other guests would attest to.
Dalton laid out his marketing plan for the upcoming year and all I can say is that he is taking this company to the next level. V-Wager is doing all the right things to be the best company in this industry bar none.

Sincerely,

Dan Ferreira

FLOYD- I would venture to say that they would be too.

Heck, they just added a new pokerroom and their casino has to be making money I would presume.

Your right, V-wager just doesnt offer me anything to me where the reward is worth what risk has been presented TO ME at this time.

Floyd,

I am not running from this issue, but seeing I, like most of you, really don't know what the facts are. Just what we read.

I think all will be fine in the end.

It's just one day closer to the funeral parlor buddy.

Care to elaborate on this? I assume you're basing your opinion on other stuff (rumors from locals, etc.), not what's just posted in this thread?

Reality is reality EGD. May as well face the pain now and try to sleep through it later with pain killers. Assuming you pass of a natural death of course.

General,

I agree, but that is what makes what Ken has done in this thread so BEYOND irresponsible. Posting, "I heard this..." and "Someone e-mailed me that.." and "Some lawyer told me.." No proof, no substantiation. Just rumor, and hearsay designed to adverely effect a former advertiser's business.

Despicable in my opinion and once again calls into question the utility of forum's like this.

And come on, given what has happened in this forum (and others of course) and the industry in general, for Ken to say:

"I would rather QUIT working here before advocating a sports book that I KNOW is having financial trouble..."

That is just incredible.

SHRINK made a post. He posted his thoughts after being hounded a day ago for not naming the specific books he was concerned with. If he does not say anything and the books are in trouble, then we will be tarred and feathered for the defunct Rx advertiser. If he answers the crowd and tells the books he is concerned with, then he is tarred and feathered as well. No win. Lose, Lose.

There has been no reason to ban anyone here.

That's why I question the utility of these forums. A person can look at a situation and draw conlcusions from solid facts. But to come in with hearsay and anonymous e-mails and rumors as Ken did is just DEAD WRONG. And for a site owner (or whatever he calls himself now) to do it is just awful.

I know you can't agree, but you should.

I doubt highly if you will be banned. Floyd lots of traffic lately in Politics, you are missing all the fun.

All I can say is that we are better off with the Rx forum than without it. I think most, books and players alike, are glad we have this avenue of communication. It is many good lessons for all of us, day in and day out.

I forgot, you did say that. Dubya has to win for Floyd to make a comeback. We shall see. I can only guess where else you are posting, hope you enjoy it.

Fish, I guess it's a little of both. I usually just read here and I have never posted much in this section, only when I see something egregious, which I saw today.

In the politics forum on the other hand....

See you in you in November. If your boy wins, I will be back to congratulate.

I am surprised to see V-Wager mentioned as a no pay or slow pay or problem book. Again today I asked for a PREPAID ATM withdraw and was paid same day as always. And that is a book Im up at overall. Called in and talked to Tonya in accounting she took the info and about 1000 was in my PREPAID atm by end of the day its not a 5 minute payout but it is same day no problem.

I dont personally see this as a problem book. They are in my top 5 or 6 due to the range of props they often have and the great horse racing software.
