Great point. I pay no attention to which books are at the top of this page after the panam debacle.

Interesting. Huh?

Alicia I belive this is because the other two books in question are Cascade and Bluegrass. Both Books, after the BG f*ck up by Ken, pulled their advertising and decided not to waste their time in this place.

My advice you should do the same as they did!

Wilheim,

In his first post tonight, laker_fan is using the same IP as AirForce1, who registered with the email bhb@hotmail.com (Hi Justin, aren't u workig for BlueGrass theese days?)

The second post 4 minutes later had a completely different IP...

Just an observation...

This thread is one of the more amazing I have read here.

Ken and his moderator accuse V-Wager of being in dire financial straits and of the several hunderd RX posters who have played at V-Wager, all they come up with ONE guy who claims he got his $1750 three days later than he wanted to (that was after he received $2500 immediately upon request).

Is that it, is that all you guys got? That makes all of your other rumors and hearsay all of a sudden credible against a book that has been around for years and has a great reputation?

And Ken's statement: "I would rather QUIT working here before advocating a sports book that I KNOW is having financial trouble..." is so remarkable given the PanAm fiasco I am a speechelss.

To V-Wager and other books advertising here, a bit of advice. RUN, don't walk away from this place. In criminal law what is being done here is called "extortion".

Floyd,

You have no idea what you are talking about. The book owes or owed some money and this was a concern. If SHRINK doesn't say a word and it goes to hell, he will catch as much heat for remaining quiet.

Its called Lose, Lose.

General,

Then please produce more players at V-Wager who claim they have not been paid.

I give you 24 hours to come up with real (not hearsay, not rumors) players at V-Wager who are being slow payed or stiffed.

Put your money where your mouth is.

How about you read the whole thread Floyd? I already said that No one has contacted me.

It is apparent that you have selective reading skills.

pay attention.

I read the whole thread and my first post above was my conlusion. Your boss is extorting a former advertiser to extend their contract.

Why has no one contacted you if they aren't able to pay as Ken has inferred? Please answer that.

I will bow out Floyd.

Thanks for your conclusion. I want no more of this debacle. You have an opinion and I'll respect it.

Thanks for your feedback

AGAIN, I CHALLENGE ANYBODY IN THIS FORUM THAT HAS SUPPORTED AND RECOMMENDED V-WAGER/MVPSPORTSBOOK MORE THAN I HAVE!!!

Dicky- Having said that, here are the EXACT facts as I know them of how they have been relayed to me........FAIR ENOUGH??

As you read these facts, I hope you respect me for ADMITTING to probably making a mistake on one of these issues.

FACTS....

Been with V-Wager like I said for 5+ years!!.........and love them..........reommeded them to MANY of my friends who now have accounts there. Dont know if they even offer referels, buy if they do, I never bothered.

I am a very small overall winner lifetime there......under $3,000 profit lifetime.

Had my limits cut on the NOVIG to $100 from $500 because recently they said that is all I was playing there........which was true for the last 2-3 months...........NO BIGGIE....I FULLY RESPECTED their decision and accepted it.

Now, in the last month, they have limited my ENTIRE play to $100 maximum which I quite frankly thought was uncalled for, but respected because it THEIR BUSINESS AND THEY CAN DO WHAT THEY LIKE.

Next, I hear from Shrink that they were having problems paying advertising here at the RX....or in someway were refusing.

Next (less than 48 hours ago), I recieve an email from a very WELL RESPECTED poster about a slow pay of $1750 and possibly another one and he suggested that if I have money there that maybe I too should be withdrawing..........and he also asked that I dont say anything in the forum because he didnt want to cause a rampage before he got his money. I agreed..........AND IN NO WAY AM I HIDING ANYTHING FROM POSTERS SO DONT GO THERE, because I wouldnt have known NOTHING without HIS email. I showed respect from him for coming forward. My mistake, ADMITTEDLY, was not getting an account number and asking V-Wager about this. That was an ommission on my part.

Now I am thinking to myself and trying to put pieces together.............

Slow advertisement pay
Slow pay to customer
Lowering of my limits and others
Current 20% bonus offer out of nowhere(didnt even mention that yet)

Putting all this together and I am thinking this is not right.

I mention this to THE SHRINK and he supports my position that things may be getting suspect at V-WAGER and he suggests that I withdraw my money as soon as possible.

A few hours later is when THE SHRINK started this thread.......as I was trying to contact the poster who was getting slow paid to see if he had been paid.

I AM SURE I HAVE LEFT OUT SOME DETAILS OF THE WHOLE SITUATION AND IF ANYBODY HAS ANY QUESTIONS, I will answer them.

I sincerely hope that V-wager is financially stable

Whatever VWager was going to pay for advertising, there's no need now...or maybe Shrink should double the rate!
icon_wink.gif

There is no better advertising available in the world than to pay everyone that requests a payout in the next couple of days, pay them quickly and efficiently, and then throw your head back and laugh heartily at the results of the Shrink induced Run-On-The-Bank...let your actions speak for how "deep" the "pockets" are behind the book, how "honorable" management and the owners are, and the real players will be playing with you for foots...I will be in all 3 books in the fall (MVP, cascade, BG) if they're still around - and I tend to suspect that there's a decent chance that they will be...

Fishead,

"Slow advertisement pay" Paying advertisers on agreed upon installments (from what I read that is what they have done) is not "slow paying advertisers". It is paying advertisers per the contract terms.

"Slow pay to customer" You produce one player out of a few hundred who received $1750 three days late by Neteller after receiving $2500 on request and you conclude they are slow-paying customers? PLEASE!

"Lowering of my limits and others" That's what books do to some players. If that is a sign of trouble then pretty much all books are "in trouble".

"Current 20% bonus offer out of nowhere" V-Wager has offered large bonus incentives on and off for quyite some time, as do most books. Again, that's a sign of "trouble"? PLEASE!

The FAR better explanation is Ken is pissed they didn't renew their ad deal and is trying anything he can to exact revenge.

I'll ask you the same thing I asked General before he ran and hid: Please produce REAL players who have really been slow payed or stiffed by V-Wager. The player you produced just is not what I would consider a sign that a long-respected book is in trouble.

Don't you guys think, given the size of V-Wager and its related books (MVP etc.) that if they were in trouble, these forums would be LOADED with people complaining about slow-pays? I frequent four forums like this and yours is the only one where any trouble has been inferred. Funny how yours is the only one that has a dispute over an ad deal with V-Wager. Makes you think, doesn't it?
