The MeatMan says: Please explain? The money MVP Sportsbook pays me is public knowledge, and every penny I take in goes into the MeatAndPotatoes.Com, Inc. checking account. I have a CPA do my taxes every year, and the last thing I am worried about is the IRS coming after me because I do everything the way it is supposed to be done. I would e-mail you Major, but I don't have your e-mail address.

Wake up, man.

It has nothing to do with whether or not you're paying your taxes.

Im not sure fi what Ivan pointed out is true but it reminds of something else that irritates me..

companies like Ford for example..

" Oh we lost 175 million this year, layoffs are expected"

They didnt LOSE anything. They just didn't make as much as they projected. So they call it a loss.
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

THAT IS SO TRUE..

QUOTE OF THE YEAR....IN MY MIND

Quote of the year? Are you kidding me? When a company's expenses exceed it's revenue, they lose money. It's as simple as that. Wall Street still likes to punish companies in their stock price by not meeting earnings expecations, and earning less money. But that is not the same thing as losing money. And that happens all the time in the business world.

"the last thing I am worried about is the IRS "

you have no worries with the IRS its Ashcroft who'll be knocking on your door asking how can you take ad money or a salary from a buisness which is illegal to operate in the u.s. you cant bring ill gotten gains back into this country. thats why all the major forums are now owned by persons outside the u.s....thats why yahoo and others stopped taking ads from offshore books. they took sportsbook ads off the howard stern show for the same reason. maybe they wont ever look into your dealings and i hope they dont but you might want to get some legal advice on it, and not from that retired chalmette lawyer that hangs out at the o.t.b.

There are two ways to go about this. I can stand up for what I believe in, or I can run to Canada and hide. Both radio stations I buy the airtime from in Las Vegas and New Orleans to do my radio show have met with their lawyers, and what I do each day on the radio is protected by free speech.

All money I take in to MeatAndPotatoes.Com, Inc. is for radio advertising or pick sales. I do not take kickbacks or percentage of losses.

I have done my homework. I have been doing my radio show since 2001. I use my real name, and have no intentions of ever doing it any other way. This is America, and in America you stand up for what you believe in.

this is by far the longest thread ever posted here

yeah really, huh? if it keeps going like this we might have more pages than the famed feebler thread (i think it has 200 pages, we are a ways away from that)

i think everyone just wanted to vent and get into a huge debate about a book, since we really hadnt had one since pan am.

if we were beefing over books more often, this thread probably wouldnt be so long.

Pete, can you please edit out my post on the top of this page. Just trying to help the people involved out so no unnecessary heats goes their way. Obviously the guy has no clue what I am talking about. Thanks in advance.

The Major says: Obviously the guy has no clue what I am talking about.

The MeatMan says: You are right. I don't know what you are talking about. Just like I don't understand why somebody would pay tens of thousands of bucks each year to advertise on your web site to get one or two sign ups. I am sure you will tell everybody that your web site generates new offshore sportsbook signups all the time, but those of us on the inside know better. Maybe you can explain both things when you get a minute?

bettors,
your point?

You have your expectations and I have mine, which happen to be a bit higher.

To each his own.

My point was merely that this isn't the Pony Express days and there is NO REASON that there need be a delay - if it doesn't bother people when there is a delay then so be it.

This thread is ridiculous! Claims - only claims!

Accounting is run by Four (4) people. I (Alicia) oversee everyting from a Corporate Standpoint, Marcela is the Accounting Manager, Billy and Al are Supervisors (there are five other employees in accounting at various times). Angie was a supervisor that left when she was NOT promoted to Manager. She was NEVER a Manager of anything.

As for payouts...you have got to be kidding. We are 100% up to date on all payouts. [q]If anyone has been slow paid, I request their NAME, PIN or EMAIL address. The fact is you will not be able to provide this, because THERE HAVE BEEN NO SLOW PAYS. NONE![/q]

Advertising payments. This is the time of year where we will buy $7,000,000+ in advertising. Advertisers are jockying for the money. We make very difficult decisions this time of year - where to spend our money for the biggest bang. Some people will not be happy that we pick to spend our money elsewhere.

I believe this article and post are in retaliation for our not renewing with theprescription.com. Actually, Mike Foreman has been negotiating the renewal as late as yesterday (I think). But, this will surely have Dalton re-thinking the negotiation.

Anyway, get the facts straight. If someone has a legitimate complaint, make it with some back up (proof). Otherwise, stop the 'bs' claims. If you think we are insolvent, make a withdraw and see. Since I control payouts, I can guarantee you will be paid ALMOST INSTANTLY.

I AM BEING SLOW PAID.

Its funny I was told that BHB has nothing to do with VWAGER/TCBETS/MVPSPORTSBOOK/PLAYERSSUPERBOOK but when I called last night to BHB I spoke with ACCOUNTING MANAGER - ALICIA. Did you quit working at vwager and get a job at BHB ?

Also, You remember you told me I would have the money today ( DAY 4 BY THE WAY ) by noon EST - I dont. Yes I am being slow paid - and its not the first time or second or third.
