Roadhouse is my alltime favorite ahead of Grease. The training Dalton gives is good for mod training.

ALICIA,

You're fairly close to the facts. I'll set you
straight now, since it's my acct you're referring to.

I deposited and received a 20% bonus (not 10%) and
satisfied all rollover requirements. I requested a
$2500 payout (not my full balance) on 6/7 and was paid
on the same day.

I then requested a payout for $1469 (my full balance
minus your fees) on 6/8. I was slow paid the $1469
until 6/11 when I was paid in full.

This WAS a slow
pay----you give NETeller payouts the same day.

I had
to wait from 6/8 to 6/11 to receive my money.

This IS
the definition of a slow pay.

The first excuse I was given that I wasn't being paid
was "there were a lot of horse wagers to pay".

The second was that Costa
Rica was having Neteller problems.

These are the facts.

3 Days is a slow pay??? If so then most books in business would qualify as slow payers.

My opinion on the situation:

V-Wager wins the battle here, hands down. By page 5 (call it round 5 like in boxing) they delivered the knockout blow and the Shrink remained down for the count.

On the various individuals involved:

V-Wager accounting: Congratulations on a professional approach to the matter! You responded to all claims, provided facts and issued challenges which could not be met. Top notch stuff. If I were running a bookmaking shop I would want you guys running my accounting department for sure!!!

The Shrink: Your intellectual (IQ, EQ, and business savvy) limitations have been exposed here. You still have a lot of charisma and are a likeable guy but you are not in the upper echelon of sharpies by any stretch. Your actions were dictated by emotion and not by rationality. You really got your ass handed to you here and you will need to take some time out and make fundamental changes if you want things to improve.

Fishhead: Spineless yes-man who, like very typical middle management geek types, is only worried about covering his own arse rather than taking his own unique position and sticking his neck out. The magnification of the slow pay and pretending it was a client rather than himself is just pathetic. Remember that when it's a third party player you have a higher level of seriousness because the fact that they contact you adds to the weight of the matter. You fooled us into thinking this added weight was there and then revealed that it was not. That was just small-minded and pathetic.

The General: A well-intentioned man who honesty tries to please everyone. His weakness is that he is reluctant to go deep and so sometimes his posts contradict reality. This is from lack of attention, though, and not from any mal intentions. This man will always have my trust and respect. He is aware of his own weaknesses which is absolutely HUGE. I wish I could say the same for Fish and the Shrink.

Floyd Gondolli: Outstanding observations which hit the nail on the head. I don't agree with his political views but I 100% endorse everything he said in this thread. I couldn't have said it better myself!

Conclusion: The concept of a forum consisting of mainly sharps, promoting sharp thought sponsored by sportsbooks is coming into question. A sportsbook which is operating intelligently by allocating funds rationally has decided to step away from the Rx. What does this imply!? That it is overall a rational thing to do to not advertise here because the business you get from here is not that lucrative!!??? The scary answer is that it COULD BE THE CASE!!!!!! And the sharper the readers and posters get, the more true this will be!!!

DP,

Good post. As of right now, I haven't read this thread (I started with Page 10). But your post motivated me to start from Page 1.

DARRYL- THE CLIENT WAS NOT ME!!!!

When I referred to the email, it was from somebody else.

AGAIN, FIND ANYBODY IN ANY FORUM THAT HAS SUPPORTED V-WAGER/MVPSPORTSBOOK IN THE LAST 5 YEARS IN ANY FORUM MORE THAN MYSELF!!!

Here is just ONE of HUNDREDS of supportive posts I am have given V-Wager over the years..........this one dated from February of this year.

For ANY of you that think I have ANY negative things to say against V-wager just because I am kissing Shrinks ass because they are not an advertiser here anymore are completly full of it!!

Please, for those that ACTUALLY do have accounts at V-Wager and are happy with them, PLEASE BY ALL MEANS CONTINUE TO PLAY WITH THEM.

I spend alot of hours on this forum doing nothing but try to inform all of you in a VERY HONEST way. Maybe at times you take out of context what I say, as DARRYL did in the above situation, and I apologize for not having the writing skills of somebody like the former Partick McIrish for instance.

Anyway here is that post I mentioned to you above........like I said, which is ONE of HUNDREDS I have supported V-wager in.........AND NO, NOT BECAUSE THEY WERE AN ADVERTISER HERE SO DONT EVEN GO THERE!!!.............................................................

Reveal007- As a moderater here at THERX, I would like to welcome you to the RX.

Sorry about your falling out with the DALTON books.

However...you will find out that they are one of the very most liked books in the whole entire offshore industry by the clients thats use them.....myself included.

Like Krackman, I have been with V-Wager for around 5 years and love them. I might add that I have spoken with their customer service reps on many times and never had a problem "understanding their english" as you say.

As you have allready found out, many here at THERX love the DALTON books, and I am sure you will find many more yet to reply.

If you were coming here ecpecting to smear MVP for your personal agendas, I believe you made a big mistake.

In fact, I think you may have just gained them a few new customers

Fish,

It looks like I misunderstood that part. For that I apologize and so I take back the part after the first sentence on the paragraph about you on my above post. I still say your number one concern is CYA but the level is not as great as I thought before the misunderstanding. Sorry about that.

omg...if i hear one more time fishhead say "NO ONE has talked more highly about v-wager than me, BUT....", i am going to vomit.

Saying you think v-wager is GREAT, BUT, they are a stiff book is simply ridiculous.

Whoever made a post about having a backbone is right on the money.

This is fine IMO.......I know FED-EX can be delayed, and without even calling V-wager on this one, we can all make the assumption here that it is really no big deal.

The money was recieved, and thats good!!!

I do however have a problem with a 3-4 day Neteller delay.

I would personally like to thank Ken and The Prescription for freeing up $42,000($3500 per month X 12 months) of the $6,500,000.00 in advertising dollars that VO-Group will be spending this year. Just so everyone knows I host the MVP Sportsbook radio show Monday through Friday from 2pm to 4pm central time in Las Vegas, New Orleans and the Internet which costs over $10,000 each month to run ALL PAID BY MVP SPORTSBOOK. I just got back from Costa Rica where this company flew twenty guys in the handicapping business out there, treated us to first class outings for four days, and even gave me a $4250 Rolex as a small gift of appreciation for the hundreds of players I have sent to them(all happy as can be). Since January 1, 2004, MVP Sportsbook has paid me $65,000 in advertising dollars, and this does not include the Rolex and trip to Costa Rica.

While most sportsbooks tone down their advertising expenses during the non football season, MVP Sportsbook stepped up to the plate and DOUBLED the money they were spending with me monthly so I could buy a second hour each day for the radio show. If this company is going broke, they sure have a funny way of showing it. Heck, just since the trip to Costa Rica on May 7, 2004, MVP Sportsbook has spent close to $30,000.00 with me if you include everything.
