Fishhead:
Sorry. I am trying to reply to everything, but the questions are flying. Sorry I missed your post.
Ok. The first $2,500 was June 7, 2004, the rest was on June 10,2004 late at night (he may have seen the money on the 11th, but was paid on the 10th). In my estimation, it took three (3) days to pay the client balance (paid $2,500.00, 8th, 9th, paid balance).
This payment would normally take two (2) days, but as stated, we had to replenish Neteller funds (typically takes one day for cash deposit, transfer, or wire). This happens when you get an unusual amount of Neteller payouts (see statement above about not willing to keep a ton with money processors - been burned too many times).
Fishhead, in actuality, this time frame does not meet my expectations at all. But, three days is not a slow pay in my book. He got $2,500 upfront immediately and the balance quickly (again: $2,500, 8th, 9th, paid balance). Again, does not meet my expectations, but to cause an 8 page thread stating 'slow pay' seems a little bit overboard.
As for emails not being responded to, this I find highly unusual. We have our client services email staffed all day, and accounting email staffed in accounting hours. I don't know how this would happen. But, you are right, if the client was not responded to promptly, this would DEFINITELY worry me too. And, if the client was not kept informed all the way around, this too is a fault. For this reason I, on the behalf of the company, apologize.
Thanks,
Alicia
