The Commissioner took away a 1st round draft pick and fined them $750,000 for spy gate.

Hard to see how they are darlings.
I think they should have done to Belichek what they did to Sean Payton for Bounty Gate. Suspend him for a year without pay. Or Brady, or both if they're guilty. It would have hurt them much more than a fine or a draft pick.

I think the NFL needs to inject some class, some grace, some beauty to de-fog...i'm thinking Josh and the elegant , briillllllllllllllllllllant Sarah. Pre-game? here they are......
Whatever they did to do what you suggest would just be eclipsed by the classlessness, lack of grace and blahness of their bitchboy commish Roger.

Sarah Brightman is the real thing. Just to confirm for those who know you are from Canada so you're just a Sarah B. "Homer."

News alert !!!!!!

Patriots used the tire store down the road to inflate the football's with Nitrogen so the would lose less air pressure in the cold but they store had changed suppliers and the Nitrogen was not pure and that resulted in the losing of air :toast:

Why do you guys keep using false stories? Jackson already said he didnt feel the ball any different and the Colts and Ravens have already come out and said they didnt make any complaints. This story all started with 1 guy not on the fb field and of course ESPN and Chris Mortenson ran with this story to drive ratings. Man let the NFL make there findings and then do something about it The NFL hasnt even talked to Brady yet, that should say something right there but of course you will the conspiracy theorists that love the drama and have sat in forums all week debating this. Just let it go until the investigation is over.

The fact the NFL hasn't talked to Brady is either incompetence or them being so smart to delay the investigation in the case they do find something and have a ratings disaster on their hands.

I tend to agree with you, but since the commissioner decided to destroy the evidence and it was never clear to me exactly how egregious it was, it is hard to say what the appropriate punishment is/would be.

Because the Media lies.

I didn't know that development, had heard from several sources that this began with the Colts DB on that INT.

Now I am sorry that I snapped on The Colts and Jackson.

The likelihood grows that this is all a concoction of Goddell's Office to maximize viewership to Super Bowl welcome to WWENFL.

Conclusion: It seems highly likely that the Patriots equipment manager checked all 12 balls in a warm locker room and they lost pressure merely by cooling off on the field.

:nohead:

Seriously, that is preposterous.

I'm shocked Sooners. You've been a voice of reason until now.

I don't disagree that there should be punishment but a yearlong ban for something that is commonly done at all levels of football from High School thru College onto Pros and even in The Canadian Football League.

If they have discovered The Air Guage yet that is up there....I believe they just discovered Fire in the early part of this Century, are still working on Indoor Plumbing in many areas....likely Air Guages are still a bit down the line for them.

The problem is the sanctions haven't worked with this team, and the fans don't like it. My question is if it has so little impact, why do it? I also think at this point, an interview with the ball boy would be awesome.

If the Patriots are guilty again this time, what would you recommend they do for a second offense penalty when sanctions don't seem to phase them?

Zit, at some poimnt you're gonna have to see it isn't just pats or brady haters. I've been a fan of both and find this to be flat out cheating.

Much ado about nothing, no proof, no nothing. And, your comment about Belichick being average is really ignorant. He's *widely* regarded among the greatest coaches of all time.
I live in the middle of Cowboy country, and most if not all Cowboys fans that I know rank him up there w/ Landry, at least in top 5.

I grew up on the Canadian border, and I know first hand what happens when you take an inflated basketball at room temperature, and bring it
outside and try and play basketball in 30 degree weather.

Much ado about nothing. Haters will hate.

The nfl is doing no investigating. Their complete incompetence is showing again. They will drag their feet until after the super bowl...thiis investigation can be done over the phone in 30 mins.

Conspiracy theories? 11 of 12 balls were deflated....that isn't a conspiracy....it's just a fact. Godell has ruined the game on the field and has bungled everything off it....this situation is no different

If a ball is inflated at 70 degrees and is taken to a 50 degree temp it loses about 1 PSI give or take in a 4 hour period. My only questions that I asked earlier was how much does a ball lose in the process of play, and how often do they trade balls out for another? And are they used again once they are thrown to the sideline?

Must have been a drastic temperature difference on both sidelines.

The coldest it got was 48 degrees. Unless they inflated those balls in a 90 degree room it doesn't make sense.

Lol...if obama was the pats qb you'd be calling for suspensions. No proof...11 of 12 balls deflated but the colts balls weren't. Seriously zit, I know you are smarter than this. Cmon...we can argue what the punishment should be but the argument on whether the pats deflated the balls is over. Jeez....cmon man

Bellchick is a good coach but wasn't great until brady. He was something like 37-45 as browns head coach

I'd agree with you enthusiastically were this offense an egregious violation that was not commonly done within the league and a premeditated plan to cheat on Belichick's part could be proven but not a single one of those things is true here.

The opposite actually: this is a common violation, so much so that the refs aren't even mindful to be checking balls, that many qbs have said goes on throughout all levels of football and there is really no way of proving premeditation on Bill's part and not even Tom's.

"Year Suspension" from some of these other fanatics I can see but from you I am very surprised.....for this.

I don't see how they can do anything to them. In a Court of Law this gets tossed immediately but, actually, doesn't even get to the Court because any even first year Law Student would see Chain Of Possession is so fukked here that there'd be no way to prove anything. And with psi-loss info I posted above, "Reasonable Doubt".

I'm pretty sure now the NFL orchestrated this to increase ratings. Why else does Brady and The Pats drag this on when he could have squashed it easily and the fine is clearly $25,000 (and possible loss of draft pick) why does the NFL not just fine, penalize and move on?

Because they want to drag this out.

For the Press Coverage...and hype.

Can't help but admire the boldness of whoever is handling the Marketing for this game.

Definitely "out of the box" this strategy, and never yet really tried lol.

They are doing their jobs and definitely giving NFL their $$$$$ worth.
