Adams won't be the best wr in football playing for the Raiders. That contract will end up being a costly one.. Rodgers made Adams who he is and in the end , that will have been the best we'll ever see from Adams

He better hope he can "make" someone else into Adams then because their WR's are garbage right about now. Good luck w/ that

Guess 50m heals the soul pretty well though

Adams becoming the player he became was a huge part of Rodgers rejuvenation and b2b MVP years whereas '17-19 he was not playing at as high of a level.

Other WRs weren't getting separation on that field that night in those conditions.
Your narrative was debunked when Serbone came in with his video clip...Basically you were saying that Rodgers was throwing a playoff game.. What other reason would there be for not throwing to a open WR ?

I would imagine that the draft pick will be a WR.
I was saying he threw a playoff game? Uh...... what?

I was saying he missed two wide open receivers down the middle of the field . He didn't do it intentionally; he just didn't perform well , especially when it mattered most.

Niners played single-high and bracketed Adams the entire night.

Maybe it's worth considering they gave too much to Rodgers
I'd rather have a franchise QB than a franchise wr especially at 30 million. At this point I don't know the current QB psy scale . If Rodgers is way ahead of everyone else , maybe overpaid some sure. I saw Cousins get a 35 million extension.. lol. So I don't know. What's Mahomes getting ?

You must not watch football very much.

Adams has some of the best success rate vs man and zone coverage and thats with seeing more double teams than almost any other receiver. Look up any receiving metrics that breakdown the WR. This guy is one of the best at reviewing WRS

During the broadcast , Akimon on a couple of occasions mentioned how WRs weren't getting separation because of the field conditions.. Rodgers spreads the ball around pretty well when receivers get open. Simple concept

I don't think Adams leaving had anything to do with what Rodgers got, they've been hardcore restructuring deals for a month. I think he was just over the drama and wanted to play in a warmer climate with a clearer future.

I watch plenty of football Jack. Not saying he's not the best WR in football up til this point.. my prediction is that won't be the case going forward.. not that farfetched of an opinion..

Reasonable take.. the weather sucks there late in the year. Rodgers best playoff performances have been on the road with better conditions.. home field I Lambeau isn't what it's all cracked up to be

It's the right price for someone like Adams in this WR market.

Salary cap is a joke and you can absolutely do the gymnastics to make it work/time it up with the bump in salary cap in coming years

Adams was kind of over the GB crap I think. Carr is a good QB and Raiders are a solid team that needed a stud. He could elevate them

GB WR's suck now...Their OL is gonna be way better getting Bahktiari and Jenkins back....D will be better getting Jaire Alexander back. Division is still pretty meh (although probably improving a little given where it was last 2 years)

I dunno what they're gonna do at WR though....FA is almost over....Landry, Julio, Juju, these guys are more reclamation project types at this point. OBJ tore his ACL a month ago, he's gonna miss like half the year.

They got a few picks but rookie WR's can be hit or miss. Maybe they find the next Justin Jefferson, maybe the next Nkeal Harry, we'll see I guess.

Yet there were plenty of examples where Rodgers didn't throw the ball when they did get open, including on the most important play of the game. Aikmen also commented on THAT, though you don't need his commentary when you can blatantly see it

Rodgers played poorly for his standards in that playoff game and has a habit of underachieving in the playoffs. That is a fact. Get over it.

With that being said , rather invest that money back into the team with 2 more good draft picks

You get over it. You're the one obsessed with Green Bay and Rodgers.. probably the biggest hater I've seen here.

My opinion has nothing to do with the fact that what I said is true

An honest Packers fan agrees that he has underperformed in the postseason. Very objectively fair take

The team itself has.. But you only point your finger at 1 player. The special teams blew the game. I'm an honest Packers fan..

Nothing like going to a team that had more drama than any team in the NFL last year...lol

The whole team has, including Rodgers. Rodgers as an individual has been disappointing.

They can both be true. I have said the team has underachieved

Packers fans shouldn't be satisfied with how the whole team has played in the playoffs

Packers fans shouldn't be satisfied with how Rodgers has individually played in the playoffs.

Pretty simple

I've had the misfortune of watching Carr over the past few years...he is an average QB at best. He made Hunter Renfrow all-pro with those short passes. Big stats and lots of passes that travel under ten yards. The guy panics when someone breaths on him hence the Bosa comment last year, "He really gets shook," and referred to him curling into a ball when the rush gets close...and those are his public comments!!!
Adams and Carr went to Fresno together, but he will find a whole new world not being able to run deeper routes. With the way the Raiders draft, giving away picks doesn't hurt them too much anyway.
