So... No one wants Rodgers?

The whole team has, including Rodgers. Rodgers as an individual has been disappointing.

They can both be true. I have said the team has underachieved

Packers fans shouldn't be satisfied with how the whole team has played in the playoffs

Packers fans shouldn't be satisfied with how Rodgers has individually played in the playoffs.

Pretty simple
In some ways you're right. Our standards are higher than let's say teams like Cincy where you know the bottom will fall out at some point..

I've had the misfortune of watching Carr over the past few years...he is an average QB at best. He made Hunter Renfrow all-pro with those short passes. Big stats and lots of passes that travel under ten yards. The guy panics when someone breaths on him hence the Bosa comment last year, "He really gets shook," and referred to him curling into a ball when the rush gets close...and those are his public comments!!!
Adams and Carr went to Fresno together, but he will find a whole new world not being able to run deeper routes. With the way the Raiders draft, giving away picks doesn't hurt them too much anyway.

I think Raiders basically had 2 choices

A. Look at where they are and landscape of division and say we're gonna pivot to a rebuild. Deal Carr to Indy for good picks, deal Crosby instead of pay him, draft a QB (or just let Mariotta have a year) and say we'll see ya in 3 years

or

B. Say we made the playoffs last year, we're a pretty good team now and we're gonna build on that and go all in.

I think once you're keeping Carr then getting involved in the AFC West arms race makes sense

Taking an option that is sorta in the middle of those 2 things just seems like a waste of time to me.

Even warts and all on Carr, this team made the playoffs last year and was competitive against the eventual AFC winner. Are they really gonna pump the brakes and take the proverbial step back to take 2 forward? Especially in a new city trying to build a fan base? Just seems unrealistic.

And they should be

Rodgers is an all-time talent at the position and Packers have had some great regular season success. Disappoiting to win 13 games and not get as far as the Bengals any time recently

Doubt you guys sniff that territory again. At the moment , and it's early , have you on the outside looking in at the playoffs next year.... We pretty much have to earn it from our side.. It's not like we have a Tannehill or a Mahomes giving us passes to the next rd... lol

Yeah Packers play in the NFC north lol don’t wanna hear about earning it

I wouldn’t bet on Bengals getting back to Super Bowl but they will be in the playoffs and will be a better overall team this season. Already have signed two nice OL and Burrow will keep getting better

Should win the division again

Making the playoffs is one thing , but only a honest Bengals fan would say you got handed two gifts in the playoffs back to back...

Ravens are the favorite in my mind.. I see a step back with you people.. I do have you ahead of Cleveland , pretty close with the Steelers...

If somehow the Bengals are the favorites for the division , easy fade for me..

The AFC north last year was probably the worst showing in 20 years..

Two playoff teams and worst team was 8-9 despite injuries.

All four teams are competitive. No complete bottom of the barrel teams and the AFC champions— third best division in football last year behind the two west divisions

Bengals are slight favorites over Ravens at most places I believe

Luck plays a role for any team that makes it but the Bengals played well when they had to.

Committed two turnovers final 8 games and were the least penalized in the league. Signs of a good, disciplined football team . The culture/discipline part was something we lackled for so long

No reason the Bengals shouldn’t be better next year. Great players on cheap contracts, a year of experience for a young team, good free agency so far addressing their weaknesses.

Top 5 QB and WR, both young too. Great receiver Corp, running back. Great DB’s and up fronts. Linebackers showed lot of growth

Bengals are just an all around very good team and likely will be improved next year. Might not be enough next year. I expect KC to bounce back from what we did to them

Titans were frauds all year last year. Only averaged 5.1 yards per play and gave up 5.4. Worst 1 seed ever with a bad QB. Bengals were better than them going in. Titans were lucky to be in that game.

Mahomes choked but Bengals also played well. Made great plays when it mattered. Mahomes made a poor decision on his last toss but it was actually a hell of a throw — BengAls just had a couple of the best DB’s in the game there to make a play

Little rambly but you get the point

Bengals and Ravens neck and neck at the moment. +175 each at Draft Kings. WH almost exactly the same. Was just in Vegas , no other shop has division odds up, so not sure what you mean by most places ?

BTW , all teams are expected to improve in AFC

Bengals were lucky to be in the Titans game. The 3 TOs were gifts. All 3 were horrible throws that had nothing to do with your defense. One throw was a 14 pt swing on that horrific swing pass to the flat.

Bengals scored 6 points off the turnovers and no touchdowns. They did not score at all off that pass so not sure what you're talking about as far as 14. Titans scored more points off turnovers

Bengals have shorter odds on conference and Super Bowl and slightly ahead in division in places it's posted for the most part. Surprised you favor injury prone Lamar

A lot teams are expected to improve but doubt many will. AFC hype overblown. Chargers will choke, Broncos are way overrated. Bengals have as good a chance as anyone to improve because of how they're constructed. Only obstacle is health

Titans scored a TD off a bogus interception that hit the ground on a dropped screen pass when Cincy was up 7. Bengals played a crappy game for their standards but won because they have an incredible QB and the Titans have a below average one. That was true all season, not just that one game.

Two of the interceptions were great defensive plays.

Have to agree to disagree on some of your points , outside of Tannehill being garbage..

Ravens have one of the best organizations in football , and seemed to be making moves to get right again..
I'm not a fan of Lamar getting it done when it counts. Regular season he's good when he can run thru average defenses. Probably good enough to get it done in that division , and as long as Huntley is still the backup. Actually like him better.

I have Chargers and Broncos ahead with my ratings.

More importantly right now , you folks going to get it done over Loyola tomorrow ? Big Ten letting me down. Have ov 11 wins.. need some help. Not sure Wisky , Purdue ,and Illinois can carry the torch to pick up the slack after Iowa couldn't get it done

You had Bengals as 6th in the AFC before playoffs I believe. Probably need to wait a little longer to making "ratings". Don't mean that in a douchey way but better off just watching to see what the teams look like

Ravens are a great organization. Hard to overlook what the Bengals did to them in Week 7 in Baltimore when the Ravens were 5-1 and relatively healthy though, then again later in the year

Should be a good game. Buckeyes have been trash lately but woudn't be surprised if they win. College basketball is just randomness and mediocrity though.

Big Ten as a whole is overrated. Had Richmond and Saint Mary's Also have Davidson, and had Colorado State unfortunately

But I have Purdue in my final four. Which means they are going down against Yale tomorrow

Ratings at this point are fluid . Nothing set in stone. Alot of moving parts. These rosters are changing on the fly..Every day is a new day..

Not sure I could even list 7 legit playoff teams in the NFC right now. Maybe at least 10 in AFC at this point

Odds have come down on the Chargers with their moves. Best I saw earlier this week in Vegas was 18/1.. Chinook is at 15/1.. Spirit is 16/1 if you're going local..
