sds,

make no mistake about it, roulette is for sucker too. no one wins without cheating at slots or roulette.

It amazes me how many times people say this yet some people don't see to believe it.

Everyone loses that plays slots period. If it was so easy we would all be rich and finally it is mathmetically impossible to beat the slots.

Is it impossible to make money at a 9-5 job? The answer is no. If that is the case, then why isnt everybody RICH like you say. Will be anticipating your answer Golden Boy.

The last 7 guys I knew that tried to beat the slots ended up in homeless shelters and tents in the hills of Northern NJ. It was a sad site. Playing slots is like doing crack. I would advise to stay away from them and leave the fairy tale stories to some of the posters here that dream up stories that they can win. I wonder if Krackerjack gets a cut with every slot player he sends into casinos??

JJ you are such a moron. railbird is absolutely correct.

a group i was involved with nearly 10 years ago hit a jackpotted keno slot operation statewide for about US$5M.

made the newspapers country wide but unfortunately lost about 2m overall.

"No one wins without cheating at Roulette" ????

I do not agree.

As for the last posts - I did read them. But I was actually trying to solicit more input from the lurkers - some of which may have more to add.
With regards to Roulette (and most other casino games) , the house odds are better - naturally. "Odds" are simply derived by a large random sample. BUT, if you do not allow yourself to be part of that LARGE sample, then the odds will not work out the same - correct?
That said, IF you can work a very small "window" of opportunity, you CAN beat the "odds". This is why successful people know when to walk while "losers" ultimately give it all back and more.
That said, do I win at Roulette all the time? NO!
Could I make it my living? - NO!
Have I made more than I have lost? YES!
I am certain a guy with a good mind and a good bankroll could make it into something but I am too small and conservative. Time and time again I KNEW that I would have done incredibly well had I sat down with $2000 instead of $200.
cheers

YOU CANNOT BEAT THE ODDS!!! With all due respect....LMFAO! ROULETTE IS A LOSING GAME!!!

However, certain slots you have a mathamatical edge.

sorry pal.
no matter how you say it, I do not fully agree. Mathmatics are just that. I can make them say whatever I want. When it is based on a LARGE RANDOM SAMPLE then there is only one thing to do - figure out how to beat it on a SMALL sample since the large WILL get you eventually. (not saying anything you do not know)
Roulette IS mechanical as well in certain ways. Just have to pinpoint the flaws.

I love when we use 7 examples out of 35 million people worldwide!!!!!! They got lucky and hit jackpots, it was not some sort of system it was pure luck only.

If you play slots it is actually worse than playing the horses.

Strut is right. The machines are out there

have both made some nice coin but the glory
days were a few years back. It was a lot
easier back then. Now, competition everywhere
and the machines are fewer.

The Golden Boy sure is when he is talking about slots.

playing horses jj???
You see the horses as a bad bet too??
Take a look at my picks for mohawk the other night. I made a killing. Go look at the previous picks as well.....ditto. I make a good dollar on harness racing. HOW can it be bad when MOST of the time I can take 8 horses, throw out 4 COMPLETELY , then work with the other 4 to create a trifecta wheel that pays big $$? Not sure how people here determine what is a "good bet" .
I never talk about that which I have limited experience in.

Who is this Voodoo clown making comical claims that he beats slots every year for like 50 dimes!!! Ask any mathmetician and they will tell you slots cannot be beat period.

Comps do not count.

Tekari and JJ you are 100% wrong.

Read this thread closely, all the info is here to do the research on these "banking" type machines.
Also worth mentioning that some slots can be become mathmatically profitable when the progressive reaches a certain amount.

This thread is like a test for sharpness

JJ,

Kid, I don't care what anyone says, you CANNOT WIN in slots lifetime. It has been proven that this game is not beatable over the very very long haul. The only way any player has a chance of not losing is if they do this..

Find a high return machine
Receive gambling points (comps)
Receive comps, vouchures, free room, free show tickets, free meals, etc...

If you include all this, then yes, they can say they are technically up.. You know how gamblers all lie when they say they're up lifetime. Gamblers are the biggest liars in the world when it comes to admitting if they are up or down. I would go to the casino for 6 straight days with my friend who would win 900 one day, lose 1200 the next day, and then win 400 next day, lose 700 next day, and after 6 days, I know he'd be down 800 total, as I would add up everyday when he told me how he did. And when i'd ask him (knowing he is down 800 on the 6 days) I'd ask him if he's up or down on the week, he'd ALWAYS say, i'm about even. LIAR LIAR PANTS ON FIRE...There's gamblers for you. They only remember when they win, they ignore the losses.

So when a poster here says he is up lifetime in slots, DON'T BELIEVE IT.. I even asked a poster here who makes a living on slots how much he is up lifetime in 20 yrs of doing this, and he said about 40k if I recall. That means that this person made ONLY 2k a year. Now you telling me this is worth it?, considering it's even true.. 2k a year to sit in a casino for 12 hrs a day 7 days a week? That turns out to be about 23 cents an hr. You can make way more working at McDonald's. And that's considering he really is up 40k. Just remember JJ, gamblers always forget when they lose, and ONLY remember their winnings.

You can make that much sitting on your ass betting on sports in 3 months, rather than 20 yrs. Is it even worth it? It's worth it for the old people who can't do anything else. But for a poster who can make money gambling instead, being in a casino is a complete waste of time, or guys like Krackman and Fishhead would be in there right now instead of here.

DONT BELIEVE WHAT YOU HEAR JJ, NO ONE WINS CONSISTENTLY IN A CASINO, AND LIKE I SAID, IF THEY DO WIN AT SLOTS, IT'S VERY VERY VERY MINIMAL, NOT EVEN ENOUGH TO PAY YOUR RENT. MARK MY WORDS.
