The Rx.com Mod Team has created this Service Play sub-forum in order to supply an area for Rx Service Play Posters to expand upon their posting topics without creating a logjam in the main forum where the three principle threads are maintained..

Posters can track services here if they care to but we will need any trackers to do so in an accurate and civil manner. We did not create this area for posters to ridicule or bash any services..

You can also discuss who is hot and who is not. The general state of the pay for plays industry and any other subject or topic related to service plays.

You can also create individual threads about specific services and discuss them freely but civilly. Again bashing and abusive treatment of any services will not be tolerated.

Please remember, this forum is not here for regular posters who cap their own games to post ther daily plays. Please use our individual sport forums to post your plays. Professional cappers (those that sell plays) must remain in the Site Promotion Forum.

The Rx.com will not tolerate posters that post false records of any services they track. Please be truthful if you decide to track a particular service.

Lastly The Rx Moderators are appealing to you our everyday posters to report any promotional threads or posts that are made by services or individual touts. No links or contact information to an individual service will be allowed. Just the name of the service. Please report any threads or posts that are promotional attempts by services and touts to use this forum to promote themselves..

Posters can easily report a promotional post by using the triangular Report-a-Post Icon at the bottom left of all post boxes. The poster name of any poster who reports a post that is out of line will be kept strictly confidential.

I will leave this thread open for a month to take questions and do my best to answer them. I will check in daily but am off on Wednesday and Thursday.

I hope this additional Service Play Forum will satisfy those posters that would like to widen the scope of topics relating to service plays and the industry in general to have their own threads. Mods will be liberal as possible regarding topics but this forum was specifically created to allow you more freedom to express your ideas regarding service plays and related subject matter. No off topic threads will be allowed.

Thank you, wilheim

Mavericks at Thunder: What Bettors Need To Know

Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder (-4, 195.5)
Dallas Leads Series 2-1

THE STORY: It may be difficult to determine which team has more momentum heading into Game 4 of the NBA's Western Conference final Monday night in Oklahoma City. The Dallas Mavericks gained the upper hand in the best-of-seven with a 93-87 win Saturday, but not before nearly squandering a 23-point advantage to the upstart Thunder.

TV: 9 p.m. ET, ESPN

ABOUT THE THUNDER: Poor execution plagued Oklahoma City throughout Game 3, but the Thunder still found themselves within striking range down the stretch. A trio of missed 3-point attempts and a costly turnover with under two minutes remaining wound up leaving Oklahoma City just short of coming all the way back. Long-range shooting was the Thunder's undoing in this one, as they missed their first 16 3-point shots before Russell Westbrook hit one in the final minute. Getting those shots to fall will be critical for an Oklahoma City team that hasn't lost consecutive games yet int the postseason.

ABOUT THE MAVERICKS: Phew. That was the sound of collective relief from the Mavericks' locker room after a fourth-quarter collapse almost cost Dallas a pivotal road victory. Dirk Nowitzki had 10 of his 18 points in the fourth, and said afterward he knew it was his responsibility to keep the Mavs out in front despite struggling from the field. "We didn’t really have a lot going in the second half offensively, so I’ve got to keep attacking for this team like I have for the last 13 years," said Nowitzki, who shot 7 for 21 from the floor. “This team needs me to score and to keep being aggressive."

WHO'S HOT/WHO'S NOT: Westbrook and Kevin Durant had 54 points in defeat but hit just 15 of 42 shots on the night. Durant missed all eight of his 3-point attempts. Mavericks G Jason Kidd had another well-rounded game Saturday with 13 points, eight assists, seven rebounds and four steals. He's averaging better than two swipes per game in the postseason.

KEY STATISTIC: 12 - The number of minutes Westbrook played in the fourth quarter Saturday. Westbrook was benched for the entire final period in Game 2, a decision coach Scott Brooks defended by saying his team's reserves were playing too well to take out.

TRENDS:

* Under is 12-3-1 in the last 16 meetings in Oklahoma City.
* Mavericks are 4-1 ATS in the last five meetings in Oklahoma City.
* Over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
* Road team is 19-7-2 ATS in the last 28 meetings.
* Underdog is 11-4-1 ATS in the last 16 meetings.

LAST WORD: "They got us playing on our heels, and that’s not how we play. The start was tough to overcome." - Brooks on his team's slow start

Monday's Best NBA Bet

Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder (-4, 195.5)

The Thunder returned home-court advantage in the Western Conference Finals to Dallas by digging themselves into a 27-12 hole after one quarter on Saturday night. They trailed by 23 points in the second and could not claw their way back, losing Game 3 by a 93-87 score.

Still, over the last 17 minutes of action there were some positive signs for Oklahoma City. Scott Brooks’ club outscored the Mavericks 43-28 in that span; 12-5 to end the third quarter and 31-23 in the fourth. Russell Westbrook, who did not play in the final frame of Game 2, poured in 14 of his game-high 30 points in the fourth to keep his team competitive.

“Just trying to attack,” Westbrook told the Oklahoman, which wrote that the point guard went into “beast mode” for the last 12 minutes. “Just trying to stay in attack mode and trying find us a way to get the clock stopped or get to the line. I was just trying to be aggressive. Just try to play the same way I've been playing all year long.”

The former UCLA star who did not get much help in Game 3. Kevin Durant scored 24 points (modest by his league-leading standards) and grabbed 12 rebounds, but he made only 7 of 22 shots from the floor. No other Thunder player reached double-figures.

Count on another bounce-back performance from Durant on Monday. He had two notably disappointing games in the conference semis against Memphis; he scored just 22 in an overtime road loss in Game 3 and a mere 11 in a Game 6 road setback. Both times Durant recovered in a major way; 35 points in an overtime road win in Game 4 and 39 points in Game 7.

Dallas super-sub Jason Terry had this to say after Saturday’s big win: “In a game like this in someone else's arena, coming off a loss, you have to come out with anger and intensity. We did that.”

Look for Oklahoma City to do that in Game 4.

PICK: Thunder

MLB Betting: Blue Jays Visit New York Yankees
By: Willie Bee

Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees (-163, 9)

The Toronto Blue Jays make their second of three visits to the Bronx when they open a 3-game series Monday night against the New York Yankees. It's the third meeting between the two clubs this season that so far has the Yanks leading the head-to-head battles, 3-2.

Monday's contest gets underway at 4:05 p.m. (PT). A battle of right-handers is on the slate as New York sends Bartolo Colon to the hill against Toronto's Carlos Villanueva who will be making his first start of the 2011 season.

Colon and the Yanks are decided 160 favorites for Game 1 with the Don Best odds screen showing nine runs for the scoreboard tally.

The series will feature the top two American League teams in the long ball category. New York sits atop the majors with 71 home runs led by Curtis Granderson's 16. Toronto has clubbed 51 round trippers with Jose Bautista leading the bigs with 18 clouts.

Bautista is 5-for-16 (.313) with two homers when facing the Yankees this year. He's also walked six times in the five previous meetings. Granderson has three bombs off Blue Jays pitchers and is batting .381 against Toronto (8-for-21).

The two clubs have combined to belt 12 homers in their first five contests, seven of them in the 3-game series at Yankee Stadium (April 29-May 1).

Villanueva (0-0, 1.48) will be making his first start since the final day of the 2009 season when he was with the Brewers. He made six starts that season with Milwaukee going 2-4. The Dominican is being pressed into the Blue Jays rotation for Jesse Litsch who went on the DL this past weekend due to a shoulder injury.

Two relief appearances vs. the Yanks earlier this season account for Villanueva's career work against New York. He pitched a scoreless inning in both outings.

Colon (4-2, 3.16) is making his seventh start since opening the campaign in the Yankees bullpen. His first start of season was in Toronto, working into the seventh of New York's 6-2 win and allowing both Blue Jays runs.

The chunky righty held Bautista in check in that game, striking him out once in three hitless at bats. Blue Jays backstop JP Arencibia took him deep in the contest, the only career homer off Colon among the batters that will be available for Toronto's lineup on Monday.

New York begins the series tied with Tampa Bay for first place in the AL East. The Yankees completed a series win Sunday afternoon over the Mets to sit 25-20 on the season and down 2.2 units at the window.

Toronto dropped two of three at home to the Astros to end a 5-game homestand that saw the Blue Jays go 2-3. A level 23-23 season mark (+1.4 units) has them fourth in the division, 2.5 games off the pace.

Mother Nature could interrupt this contest with early forecasts calling for an 80 percent chance of rain Tuesday night in the Big Apple. Temps in the mid-60s will be accompanied by 10-12 mph wind out of the south (1B across to 3B).

The series continues Tuesday with a clash of lefties. Ricky Romero will be on the bump for Toronto while CC Sabathia takes the ball for the Yankees.

HOT LINES

Monday's Best MLB Bets

Seattle Mariners at Minnesota Twins (-106, 7)

Teams headed in opposite directions meet at Target Field Monday night. The surging Mariners have won five straight, while the pathetic Twins have lost three in a row to fall 15 games under .500.

Seattle starter Jason Vargas has been one of MLB's top pitchers in May. He's allowed one run and struck out 16 in 23 2/3 innings.

As a team, the Mariners have allowed two runs or less in their last seven games. Starters have allowed only four earned runs over that span.

"It's been outstanding the way these guys have passed the torch to the next guy for the next start to keep it going," manager Eric Wedge said. "Their focus and preparation have been outstanding."

Twins starter Carl Pavano has been outstanding at home, going 2-0 with a 1.77 ERA. But teams are still hitting .288 against him overall.

And it wouldn't be wise to get in Seattle's way right now.

PICK: Mariners

Toronto Blue Jays at New York Yankees (-163, 9)

These teams have met five times this season, and only once did the combined score reach double digits.

The Yankees' Bartolo Colon (3.16 ERA) was absolutely dominant in his last outing, throwing eight shutout innings against Baltimore. Current Blue Jays are 10-for-44 (.227) against Colon, with just one home run.

Carlos Villanueva, who'll get the spot start for the Jays in place of the injured Jesse Litsch, has been brilliant out of the bullpen. He's posted a 1.48 ERA in 24 1/3 innings, with just 10 hits allowed.

The Under is 8-1-1 in Toronto's last 10 games against winning teams, and 10-3-1 in New York's last 14 games after the Yankees scored five or more. Sunday, the Yanks smacked the Mets 9-3.

Lightning at Bruins: What Bettors Need To Know

Tampa Bay Lightning at Boston Bruins (-149, 5.5)
Series Tied 2-2

THE STORY: The Tampa Bay Lightning were in danger of being placed in an unenviable position. Trailing by three goals early in Game 4 on Saturday, the fifth-seeded Lightning could have folded their tents and let the third-seeded Bruins skate to a 3-1 advantage in the Eastern Conference finals. Coach Guy Boucher's troops know that scenario all too well, as the fourth-seeded Pittsburgh Penguins did the same to them in the conference quarterfinals. This time, Tampa Bay didn't let it get that far. The Lightning scratched for three goals in a span of 3:48 in the second period before Simon Gagne netted the eventual game-winner nearly seven minutes into the third on Saturday. Now on level terms, the teams will reconvene in Beantown for Game 5 on Monday.

TV: 8 ET, VERSUS, CBC

ABOUT THE BRUINS: After missing the first two games of the series due to a mild concussion, Patrice Bergeron collected two goals on Saturday and leads the club with 14 points in the playoffs. Michael Ryder also scored, but Tim Thomas struggled in this one by allowing four goals on 36 shots. The Vezina Trophy finalist saw his 93-minute, 40-second scoreless stretch snapped after Teddy Purcell netted the first of his two goals in the second period. Boston was unable to maintain its early lead and fell for the first time in eight opportunities when opening the scoring in the playoffs.

ABOUT THE LIGHTNING: Dwayne Roloson made an early exit for the second time in three contests. After being pulled in Game 2, the 41-year-old netminder permitted three goals on nine shots in the first period before being shown the door. Mike Smith remained perfect in two relief appearances in this series by stopping 21 shots in Game 4. Smith had denied all eight chances he faced in Game 2. Boucher put an end to any goaltending carousel talk by naming Roloson the starter on Monday. Sean Bergenheim scored his NHL-leading ninth goal of the postseason and Hart Trophy finalist Martin St. Louis added an empty-net goal on Saturday.

WHO'S HOT/WHO’S NOT: Ryder has three goals and four assists during his five-game point streak. After starting the postseason with two goals and 10 assists, Tampa Bay's Steve Downie has failed to secure a point in all four games in this series. On Saturday, he finished with 14 penalty minutes, a minus-2 and suffered a head injury late in the second period. He is listed as day-to-day.

SPECIAL TEAMS: The Bruins experienced two more fruitless power-play opportunities in Game 4. They are now 4-for-52 with the man advantage in the playoffs. The Lightning also went 0-for-2 on Saturday and are now 14-for-57 in the playoffs. Tampa Bay has also killed off 64 of 69 shorthanded situations.

TRENDS:

* Over is 4-1 in the last five meetings in Boston.
* Over is 5-2 in the last seven meetings.
* Lightning are 2-5 in the last seven meetings.
* Lightning are 4-19-4 in the last 27 meetings in Boston.

LAST WORD: With his next victory, Boston's Claude Julien will move into sole possession of second place in franchise history with 28 postseason coaching triumphs. Julien is tied with Art Ross in second place, four victories behind Don Cherry.

Monday's Best NHL Bet

Tampa Bay Lightning at Boston Bruins (-149, 5.5)

The Bruins are wondering how in the world they aren’t heading back to Boston with a 3-1 lead in the Eastern Conference Finals and a chance to clinch the series on Monday.

But they only have themselves to kick after blowing a 3-0 first-period advantage Saturday night in Tampa Bay and eventually losing 5-3. The Lightning scored three goals on four shots during an incredible 3:48 span in the second period, then added the game-winner with 6:54 remaining in the third followed by an empty-netter.

Still, Tampa Bay likely can’t afford another dreadful start, especially not on the road like it endured in Game 2. The visiting team allowed a ridiculous five second-period goals in that contest so two tallies of its own in the third were not enough to overcome a 6-3 deficit.

Since dropping their first two home games of the playoffs to Montreal, the Bruins have been stellar as hosts. They have won five of their last six at the Garden, including two by a combined score of 10-2 during a four-game sweep of Philadelphia in the conference semis.

The Lightning will have to keep Patrice Bergeron in check to pull out a victory on Monday. Bergeron, who sustained a concussion against the Flyers and missed the first two games against Tampa Bay, skated well (albeit without any points) in his Game 3 return and he delivered two first-period goals in Game 4.

“It does feel good to score,” Bergeron told the Boston Herald. “You’re trying to help, but you want to win. That’s the key. And tonight I’m not satisfied…. You’re not happy, obviously. Every game, every win counts. That being said, it’s a long series and we can’t feel sorry for ourselves. Because nobody else will.”

Count on more of the same from Bergeron in Game 5, along with a bounce-back showing from Bruins goalie Tim Thomas.

Monday's Betting Tips: Braves' Woes Mounting

Weather To Watch

Tampa Bay Rays at Detroit Tigers – There’s a 60 to 70 percent chance of thunderstorms, with winds out of the southwest at 16 miles per hour. Gametime temperature will be 75 degrees.

Who’s Hot

MLB: The Under is 7-0-1 in Toronto’s last eight road games against winning teams.

NBA: Dallas is 6-0-1 ATS in its last seven road games.

NHL: The Lightning are 7-1 in their last eight games as an underdog.

Who’s Not

MLB: The White Sox are 1-7 in John Danks’ last eight starts on grass.

NBA: The Under is 0-5 in Oklahoma City’s last five games following an ATS loss.

NHL: The Under is 0-5 in Boston’s last five games as a home favorite.

Key Stat

10 – That’s how many times Dallas fed Dirk Nowitzki in one span of 11 possessions in the fourth quarter of Saturday’s 93-87 win. It’s an indication the veteran Mavs know where their bread is buttered. And the strategy worked, with Nowitzki scoring enough to keep Oklahoma City at bay. The youthful Thunder often neglect Kevin Durant at key moments, or Durant doesn’t work hard enough to get open and call for the ball.

Injuries Not To Be Overlooked

The Texas Rangers are expected to get back AL MVP Josh Hamilton and Nelson Cruz for Monday’s series opener against the Chicago White Sox. The Rangers are 15-21 without Hamilton and 8-9 with Cruz out of the lineup. Hamilton, the left fielder, broke a bone in his right shoulder while sliding head first into home on April 12. Cruz, the right fielder, strained his right quad muscle on May 3. Fortunately for the Rangers, the AL West is so mediocre that their 24-23 record is good for first place.

Game Of The Day

Dallas Mavericks at Oklahoma City Thunder (-4, 195.5)

Tips And Notes

The Atlanta Braves have scored just 11 runs over their last five games, going 1-4. Now center fielder Nate McLouth, who had just moved into the leadoff spot, is out after injuring his left oblique four pitches into Sunday’s 4-1 loss to the Angels. In addition, right fielder Jason Heyward remains day to day with a sore right shoulder. The Braves got more bad news when they learned Tim Hudson (stiff back) won’t be able to make his scheduled start Wednesday in Pittsburgh.

Things are looking bleak for the San Jose Sharks, who trail Vancouver 3-1 in the Western Conference Finals after Sunday’s 4-2 home loss. Sharks captain Joe Thornton had to leave in the third period Sunday after being hit into the boards by Raffi Torres. San Jose is now 1-6 at home in conference finals, losing all three to Calgary in 2004 and two last year to Chicago. On Tuesday, the Canucks can clinch their first trip to the Stanley Cup Finals since 1994.

With the U.S. Open golf tournament less than a month away, Phil Mickelson and Luke Donald are co-favorites at 12-to-1, according to golfodds.com. Three players are listed at 15-to-1: Lee Westwood, Rory McIlroy, and you-know-who. That’s right, Tiger Woods, who had to leave The Players Championship after irritating his left knee and Achilles, is 15-to-1 despite uncertainty over whether he’ll play. Woods insists he’ll “do whatever is necessary” to play in the June 16-19 event at Congressional Country Club in Bethesda, Md.

Hondo

Formerly ice-cold Hondo snapped out of his latest slump yesterday, connecting with the Rays and Cards to lower the accounts payable to 1,215 kluc zewskis.

Tonight, Mr. Aitch expects Arroyo to phlush the Phillies -- 10 units on the Reds. Also, he's giving Ogando an opportunity to earn some stall space in his stable of stalwarts -- 10 units on the Rangers.
