9-11 "Never Forget"
On September 11, 2001 we got a harsh reminder that nothing should be taken for granted. We are a great Nation and I feel we are lucky to live here - but this privalege did not come cheap - tremendous sacrifices were made to establish and protect our freedom! Let us remember the innocent victims lost during this tragic incident and let us also remember our servicemen and civil servants, specifically Firefighters and Policemen, who continue to make sacrifices to maintain our freedom! ~Smooth44

What a difference a week makes! Last week I went against Colorado and even called the outright win by their in-state rivals Colorado State. And now they head on the road to play Toledo, a team that racked up some yards and points on Purdue – and this has everyone thinking upset tonight with the home dog. BUT NOT ME!! Now folks, you all know I drool over the chance to back a home dog but I just can’t do it tonight!! Here is the bottom line, last week EVERYONE completely over-estimated Colorado while under-estimating Colorado State and it bit them bad – and now tonight that same herd has already jumped off the Colorado bandwagon and are riding with Toledo!! What a mistake!! Listen up people!! The MAC conference is bad – REALLY BAD – they were completely over-matched in EVERY game they played last week, even Ball State at home against cellar dweller North Texas – WOW!! Forget about Toledo’s “success” on offense last week – does anyone realize their QB Orelt passed 61 times in that game??!! This team is completely one-dimensional and they may have had success against Purdue, the bottom of the Big 10, but not tonight against a decent Big 12 school who plays a 3-4 defense with some quick linebackers and good DBs!! Oh, and how will Colorado do offensively you might ask?? Just consider Purdue ran for over 315 yards last week on over 8 yards per carry – yeah I think you know where I am going with this!! Everyone loves a fairytale, especially me, but not tonight my friends – COLORADO WINS COMFORTABLY!! And for the record I do recognize Colorado is traveling on a short and I have taken that into consideration along with other trends backing Toledo.
