Guaranteed Pick: Nick Parsons
Game: Calgary Stampeders at Edmonton Eskimos Sep 11 2009 10:00PM
Prediction: Edmonton Eskimos
Reason: Writeup: With revenge on their minds from the beating they took a week ago, and looking to redeem themselves in front of the hometown crowd, and getting points, I believe we're getting great value on the home side in this situation: It's a short recovery week for both clubs as they meet again Friday at Commonwealth Stadium in Edmonton for their third of four meetings this season. Last week the Stamps rolled in front of the home town crowd, embarrassing the Eskimos 32-8; and because of that debacle, Edmonton Eskimo Head Coach Richie Hall announced that Offensive Coordinator and Quarterbacks Coach Rick Worman has been relieved of his duties and replaced by Kevin Strasser, the club’s senior offensive consultant. In 2005 as the Als’ offensive coordinator, Strasser guided a potent Montreal offence that led the CFL in points scored (592) and passing yards (5,556) and I look for his guidance to pay immediate dividends. Despite last week's performance, Calgary is 1-4 ATS its last five overall. Edmonton is 4-2 SU its last six overall, 5-1 SU its last six at home and 8-4 SU in its last 12 when playing at home against Calgary. Home field advantage can not be overlooked in this situation; I look for Edmonton to concentrate on stopping the run and for these strong ATS trends to play a significant roll in the outcome of this game; when taking into consideration all of the above factors I have to highly recommend a play on the ESKIMOS! *10*
Paid and confirmed. Good Luck
