Philadelphia Phillies vs Colorado Rockies Colorado Rockies
-107 at bodog
3* NLDS Game 4 SMASH (TBS) on Rockies -107
I sided with Lee for an easy win in Game 1, but his first trip to Coors in the cold won't be so kind. Lee has struggled away from home at just is 1-2 with an 8.10 ERA in four starts since September 1st and it does not help that the Rockies have him fresh in their mind. In this do-or-die game, I expect Colorado to go after him aggressively and for his road struggles to continue. Meanwhile, Jimenez will be hungry to bounce back from the worst postseason performance of his career. Jimenez has made four postseason starts and had only allowed 4 runs over 16 innings before Game 1. He is much more familiar with pitching in this ball park and that will be to his benefit here, especially since the Rockies are 6-1 in Jimenez's last 7 home starts. The Rockies are 42-17 in their last 59 home games, including 16-5 in their last 21 home games vs. a left-handed starter. Colorado survives tonight to force a Game 5.

Game: Florida Panthers @ Tampa Bay Lightning - Monday October 12, 2009 7:35 pm
Pick: 4 unit(s) MONEYLINE: Florida Panthers +115 (Play of the Day)

Ai Simulator 7* graded play on Florida in the NHL as they play Tampa Bay set to start at 7:30 EST. Supporting this graded play is a system that has gone 79-57 making 42.6 units since 2004. Play on road dogs of +100 to +150 against the money line after allowing 3 goals or more 2 straight games facing an opponent after scoring 5 goals or more in their previous game. TB is just 15-40 against the money line (-22.4 Units) against poor power play killing teams with the opponent scoring on >17.5% of chances over the last 2 seasons. Take Florida.

Game: Toronto Maple Leafs @ New York Rangers - Monday October 12, 2009 7:05 pm
Pick: 5 unit(s) PUCKLINE: Toronto Maple Leafs 1.5 (-200) (Normal)

This looks like a poor match with the Rangers winning four in a row, and the Leafs still trying to get one in the left-column for the first time this year. But a look inside the matchup, offers a lot of value here. Toskala has never lost behind the net in eight starts against the Rangers while Lundqwist is just .500 in his eight starts vs. the Maple Leafs. The Maple Leafs also took three of four from the Rangers a year ago, so getting a goal+ on the puckline with a net-minder that has been perfect against the Rangers is definitely a good proposition. I'll back Toronto on the puckline here.

Analysis: PLAY: MIAMI DOLPHINS
RATING: DOUBLE DIME PLAY

Look for Miami to build off of the momentum of last week's win as they grab another win tonight against a Jet team that has played way over their heads so far. Yes the defense has played great bu€t the offense took a step back wards last week against a very soft Saint defense. Look for Sanchez to struggle again tonight. TAKE MIAMI as Marco's TV Game of the Week

Marco Rated this Play a 4* PLAY on his Executive Late Phone Service

PLAY: COLORADO

Tough loss yesterday for Colorado but look for them to bounce back tonight with Jimenez at home. Rockies even the series tonight. TAKE COLORADO

Scott Rickenbach’s Hockey 6* (Regular Play) Calgary Flames Money Line (+) @ Chicago @ 8:35 ET – RATING SYSTEM: Plays now range from 6* on up to 10* so this will include 7* and 8* picks as well. 6* will be the most common play rating with a 9* being a Top Play! 10* plays will be rare but, of course, are even a step above a 9* Top Play!

This is a big revenge game for the Flames as the Blackhawks knocked them out of the post-season last spring. The good news for Calgary fans is that this certainly isn't the same old Flames! Calgary is absolutely rejuvenated by the change at head coach. The Flames won their first four games this season and averaged four goals per game in regulation. The key here is not only the revenge factor but the fact that the Flames are coming off of their first loss of the season. After getting embarrassed 5-2 at home by the Stars, the Flames have had two full off days to get ready for a huge response at Chicago and that's absolutely what we expect here. The Blackhawks are coming off of a 4-3 win at home against Colorado but they had to go to the shootout to get the victory. Simply put, the Hawks could never pull away. Everytime they scored the Avs answered! Potentially still "adjusting" from their overseas trip (the Hawks season began in Finland), Chicago has been unable to win two straight so far this season. It's been L-W-L-W so far for the Blackhawks. You see the pattern and the next L comes tonight! Calgary will have Kiprusoff back in night after he sat out the Dallas game and he's 4-0 this season. Chicago is expected to go with Huet between the pipes and he's 2-4 with one tie in seven career decisions versus Calgary. The Flames want their revenge and this is a different team under Coach Sutter. Grab the great value with the plus money Flames. Play Calgary on the money line as a 6* regular play selection.

20* AFC East Game of the Month

Jets vs. Miami
The Jets have just dominated this rivalry, from an ATS perspective, covering 23 of the last 31 and 14 of the last 17 here in Miami. It is clear that last year’s 11-5 campaign was an aberration as the Dolphins have signed just one free agent over the age of 30 during the Parcells era, meaning they are geared for the future, not the present. Jets HC Rex Ryan faced Miami twice during the past two seasons as DC of Baltimore, so no surprises from the Wild Cat. Miami QB Chad Henne was fortunate to face the Buffalo Bills in his first start last week, but now faces a much tougher secondary this week and does not have the WR to gain separation. Expect Henne to throw multiple interceptions in this game. Miami has covered just four of its previous 18 home games and has lost six straight ATS here to the Jets. Since 1992, the Dolphins are just 4-14 ATS coming off a win by 21 or more points. They are also 9-25 ATS after a game where they won the TO margin by three or better. Jets defense, which allows just 277 YPG, will be the difference here as Miami is 4-13 ATS at home vs. teams that allow 285 YPG or less.

NY Jets are our 20* AFC East Game of the Month.

Jets vs. Miami
The Jets lost last week in New Orleans, but their defense did excellent at stopping the best offense in the league. Marc Sanchez struggled for the first time in his career and its not going to get easier in a divisional game on the road in his first MNF appearance. The problem with the Jets is their injuries at the wide receiver position. New York just picked up Braylon Edwards from Cleveland, but I doubt he will be much of a factor without fully knowing the playbook. Miami does a good job offensively controlling the clock and I expect them to run the ball allot so that Chad Henne does not throw any dumb INT's that the Jets Defense scores on. If there is a defensive touchdown that team will indeed win this game and it will be the difference. The Jets have an excellent front seven and will make it hard for the Dolphins to run the ball and they will make it tough for Henne to set his feet and throw. Miami also has a great defense. I do not see Sanchez beating this team without all of his targets healthy. Look for both teams to run the ball in a chess match waiting for the big turnover created by the defense. Points will be tough to come by tonight. Take the Under.
