If confiscation can't move the gold market, what's it gonna take?
Since it became clear that Obama's legacy is to be redistribution, with a complete disregard for the deficit, confiscation has been a great fear of mine. Bingo. Cyprus. And the world doesn't blink. Can you say precedent?
When (if) that happens here gold will soar. Until then, not sure what it's gonna take.

Not saying it isn't a bit crazy near term
But would u rather have a easy to trade decentralized currency where the government wont have it's finger in any transaction whatsoever that is guaranteed to have a limited supply (stops making more after certain date, total bitcoins to be made known)
Or would u rather have fiat

Just like I follow insider trades for individual stocks I do the same thing for the broad markets.
Lots of collective insider selling going on right now to the point of making me take notice.
I dont think this is going to be the big one but I do see 4 to 6 months of a pullback. No need to be in on a down market.

The upside potential is not worth the downside risk.

Thanks for the history lesson but I'm well aware of what happened in 1933 because of excessive hoarding. Also Snoop if you are so worried about Gov't taking your gold, why do you even bother investing in it if your shit is just gonna get jacked?

It's been done before in this country. And it was just done in Cyprus.
There is healthy paranoia and there is irrational paranoia. When there is a debt that Obama only shows a propensity to increase as it's effects are drowning many of us, when there is a clear pattern of redistribution in the policies and programs of said President, and when there is precedent as pointed out above, prudence says to connect the dots and proceed with caution. That's my stance. If you don't feel the need to watch the red flags wave in the storm, that's your priviledge.

On another subject, gold bounced off it's 148 GLD support level very nicely today. I wasn't home to take advantage. I hope someone did.

And I am very happy I unloaded my OPK at 7.51. I agree with Chop. I think the correction is imminent. In my opinion OPK has already started correcting.
