But I know you guys always need a boogeyman.....whether it's Dems, poor people, the media. It's a safety net for you guys. If I were Trump I'd just promise reparations for slavery. I really don't know why he hasn't come with that yet. I figured he had that holstered just incase the election was going bad. Oh well, we got 3 more weeks.

Are we polically ignorant and thus the press is just preaching to their audience or are we politically ignorant because we trust the press and look to them to keep us informed?
I think it's some combination of both. I think our naive trust for the media may be our biggest problem
I'm nowhere even remotely near "Trump Land", only land I'm in is one where Common Sense is desired. It is perfectly reasonable that those who lead The Republic get elected by those who contribute positively to the sustainability of The Republic. Common Sense. There is no intelligent argument against this, all you can say is "disenfranchisement" of The Poor...which if we are truly that "Shining Beacon of Light" we claim to be.....the specter of "disenfranchisement" of The Poor would get dealt with positively and if We are not in fat that, it wouldn't.
