WOW, those tough #46 and #53 defenses in the country. Maybe that's because defense is a Swear word in the Pac-10

What would their ranking be if you took USC's stats out of the equation...it is a little over your head, but you will understand sports when you grow up son. :103631605

To play devil's advocate, Bush has only played one real defense in Arkansas..........

He only had 125 yards rushing on 8 carries...70 yards receiving on 3 catches...2 TDs.

It would have been nice to see what he could have done in the 2nd half too if they weren't too busy beating Arkansas 70-17.

Yea, I agree he's put up some great numbers, but I remember seeing other backs that looked great turn out to be busts....Don't know what he'll be in the NFL, but I can't wait to watch him against UCLA and Texas

We all want to see the next Barry Sanders or OJ Simpson. The phenom guy on a not so great team who puts up incredible numbers year after year. Will we see it anytime soon? Who knows.

I'll bet anybody online with the money to be paid heads up that Bush will be offensive R.O.Y. next season. I'll let you pick two players and I'll take Bush. If I win you owe me a dime, if any of your two players win I'll pay you a dime. Funds to be held by a trusted 3rd party. So anybody else that wants to talk shit about Bush, bring it. Name someone in college right now that has the tools this kid has.

Please stop making that assinin challenge. He doesn't even have to be the best player to win that award. He will have a huge advantage in that he is a running back being drafted by the worst team. Not to mention he already is well known from playing at USC. Why don't you offer 3-1 or 4-1 vs any two players? Everybody knows running backs have the biggest immediate impact in the NFL on offense. He will also have an advantage by going to the worst team which will throw him in there often regardless of how well he blocks, catches, etc. Things that are important to the better teams.

Chop, I hope you dream job...

...isn't being GM or director of scouting for an NFL team, because thus far your performance would make even Matt Millen look like a genius.

I hope everyone is not falling for all the hype. Can you say Desmond Howard? Can you say Rocket Ishmael?

Any team dumb enough to pick a punt returner with the first pick of the draft deserves to pick at the top spot. Not saying this guy is not going to have the occational great play in the pros but Dante Hall is not first pick of draft material.

I dont see what all the hype is over about a guy with a great O-line running through the pac10.

chop your other 5000 posts are much better than this one!! What player are you watching!!!

L.T. will likely break Emmett's records and be the all-time leading rusher in the NFL, not the Pac-10. The next good defense Reggie Bush faces this yr will be the first. This might be the dumbest post in the history of this Rx. LT carries the ball 25+ times a game routinely and takes a pounding, something Bush has NEVER done.

quick guess who the only man ever to win both the heisman trophy and a super bowl MVP.

Desmond Howard. And truth be told he never got a chance to play. He only started 29 games in the NFL.

But the truth is you can't predict whos going to be great or not. Look at past drafts. every year there is a guy everyone knows is going to be good and turn out to be trash. Ryan Leaf, Brian Bosworth, Steve Emtman 1st pick, Kijana Carter 1st pick, Tim Couch, Akili Smith, Lawewnce Phillips, the list could go on forever. Then there guys that happen to slip to the 199th pick and then win 3 out of 4 super bowls like Tom Brady.

By the way B. Sanders is about the same size as bush is. Bush is a few inches taller but they are the same weight. And I have a hard time believing that he will be able to do all those moves he does in the NFL where linebackers run 4.4's because the only guy I've ever seen do it was Sanders. I'm not saying he won't be good but compairing him to B. Sanders and Gayle S. before he's even in the league is a bit much.

I would take your side of it as well. It is assinine because you are offering at pickem a bet that should be minimum +200 for any other two players. Your "challenge" is like saying. "USC IS SO GREAT, IF ANYONE DISAGREES YOU WILL BET THEM USC WINS THEIR BOWL GAME STRAIGHT UP!"
In other words tough talk, but not going out on a limb offering to bet anyonethat a big favorite at even money will win.

I will tell you my opinion of Bush. I bet him at -130 to be the first player taken in the NFL draft. Any team that passes on him will live to regret it. He's the best I have seen since Gale Sayers and quite a bit stronger.

What did you think? He scored ZERO TD's and had 1 long run the entire game. I was there, were you?
