Washington St -2 for 5 Units

Guys once again I'm going to use common sense on a play and hopefully it cashes for me. 1st I know that since Golden got canned that Scott has done a decent job of keeping everyone together. But the season is over and based on coaching comments, no one really knows whether they will be offered a job with Richt. The staff has to be looking ahead, and with two starters on the Miami Defense already sent home for violations or academics, it's another clear sign of looking ahead. Miami had some very tight wins against decent Offenses like Nebraska and Duke, with a tight loss to rival FSU, but also had some clear blowouts to UNC and Clemson. Washington St was clearly in every game this year other than the last one due to turnovers and they will learn from that and use that last game as motivation. This team was a shocker and believes. And the weather forecast also fits this team perfectly, cold and wet, like Pulllman, WA and Russia. One team is HAPPY to be there......the other is simply ready for the next Chapter under a new Coach.
BOOM!...Thanks again Red,you are on fire!

Updated Record:

NFL 15-8 21.65 Units

College 33-20 45.40 Units

MLB 1-0 +3 Units

Hopefully you guys just played the biggy.....I actually lost .70 units with the small shitty plays. Virginia Tech killed me with such a huge lead, and UCLA had a big one to for awhile. I did reduce that play as I suggested I would....after VT I did not want to lose a unit or more so I reduced that old earlier play to 1 unit, and it followed suit with a loss.

Under 53 Navy for 3 Units

Navy has only given up more than 21 points only twice this season, and the teams that cause their Defense problems throw the ball really well. Pittsburgh at 95 in Passing Offense does not fit that bill. Both teams are good at time possession, at 16 and 25 respectively. Navy played 6 Top 60 Defenses and the Under was 4-2 and in those games the ones that went Over were very good Passing Teams. Obviously Navy is very good at running the ball and Pittsburgh is #21 in Rushing Defense and faced 5 Top 50 Rushing Offenses. Likewise, Pitt had issues against teams that threw the ball well such as Miami, Louisville, North Carolina and Notre Dame. In fact 3 of their 4 losses came from those teams, and in the W they gave up 34 points, outscoring Louisville. I'm seeing a strength against strength which will hopefully consume some clock.

Just my thoughts, this game has the OVER written all over it.

1) Geo Tech who runs the Option far worse than Navy does, hung almost 400 yards of rushing on Pitt
2) Navy played .....no one other than ND and HOUSTON with a real offense. ( Please no Tulsa and Memphis talk)
3) ND and HOUSTON hung a TD shy of 100pts on our Midshipmen
4) Home game for Navy who scores about 35 pts a game at home.
5) Pitt runs TWO HUGE TEs who are no match for the Midships.

This game will be at 35+ by Half and coast to a 60+ over by the end. No one on Pitt can run with Reynolds Absolutely no one.

I just dont see this game being anything other than an OVER

Best of luck but this game is my pick of the season with the OVER.

All good points, and it's why they play the game. Navy holding 10 of 12 teams to 21 or less means something to me. Pitt's not a great passing team, I like that. If the TD's turn to FG's, I'm good. If they don't you are. Despite the yardage they gave to GT, I actually like the fact they've already played someone with the triple option. It gives them up close and personal film to see their mistakes and play better. And in that game the Total was 59. A few corrections and this game could go either way. I'm hoping 52 or less.....good luck to you as well!

Tulsa and Memphis aren't considered good offenses?? Memphis Qb will be a first round pick and Tulsa scored 52 on Va. Tech yesterday.

Central Michigan +5 for 2 units -130

Wrong team favored here in my opinion. Not sure how CMU does it but despite struggling to Run the ball they are #6 in Time of Possession. Minnesota has already fired their OC and QB coach so they are shorthanded. Minnesota is horrible across the board on Offense and 69th in Rushing Defense. They are also 93 in Time of Possession. No doubt CMU passes well so if they can run to some degree of success they could have their way. Minnesota is about 40 spots better in strength of schedule, but CMU held their own against MSU and Okie St. They Are #17 in Total Defense and 15th in Passing Offense so one would think that even with a tougher schedule they would still fall in the Top 50. Detroit is in their back yard and they expect at least 30K and the Gophers have sold 1400 tickets. There is a reason Minnesota is 5-7.....they are not quite there and I'm not sure their new coach is the answer. Laid back guys can't get it done without the right people around them, and right now......Minnesota is down 2 coaches.
